A hemmed-in territory surrounded by a sea of unbounded states. Citizens “subjected to systemic inequality and denied the full rights of citizenship” otherwise granted to their neighbors. A lack of voice or representation in governing bodies. A budget and flow of resources controlled by others. This is how the D.C. statehood movement views its mission. It is also how Sunrise DC, local affiliate of a national youth-led organization focused on climate change, views the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

To a 'Rat, the only good Jew is a secular one. The observant kind, or the Orthodox kind, make too much trouble to these Commies.

This article could not be any more confusing if were written in German! Why not just say what you mean if you consider yourself so darn gifted. Also, is it always everyone else's fault?

But they still keep voting Democrat. Their ancestors thought that Mr. Hitler would be ome less radical after he had his government sorted out. I Guess we all see how that worked out, huh?

If the rest of the article is as bad as the above snippet, I don't have the stomach for reading any more of her whining snivels. If you don't like life in one area, you have the freedom to move anywhere else in this great nation. At least you do for now. I would be more impressed if she would acknowledge the problem Asians have in this nation from the leftists. There are now schools who are trying to lump Asians in with whites so they can deny them a spot at their schools. Secular Jews are always whining about something, and for once I am rather sick of it.

Anti-semitism is popular in the modern Democrat party with hatred of Israel a malignant codicil. American Jews, therefore, will continue to vote "Democrat" in large numbers. Will someone explain this to me? Hispanics are leaving the Democrat party in the millions according to the last couple of elections. Even Black people are beginning to leave the plantation, but Jews, nope.

The tide is going out for Jew-hatred. Recently, Pope Francis condemned antisemitism and called for new action to combat it. In doing so, the pope rightly expressed how only a new civil rights movement can counter a resurgence of long-simmering hatred against Jews. During his visit to Hungary, the pontiff spoke at a meeting of ecumenical faith leaders, calling anti-Jewish hatred a “fuse that must not be allowed to burn,” citing “the threat of antisemitism still lurking in Europe and elsewhere.”

Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, and the left would have you believe that involving government in every nook and cranny of Americans’ lives will bring nothing but benefits for the public. But the case of Alta Fixsler, a girl British courts would effectively condemn to death, provides another example of the very real costs of the ever-encroaching power of the state on the rights of parents and the right to life.

Over the past year, perhaps no group has felt a greater impact from coronavirus lockdowns than our nation’s schoolchildren. In many ways, the widespread school shutdowns resembled a cruel social experiment with predictably disastrous results: plunging grades, rising mental health issues and, most distressingly, a surge in suicide attempts. But after the horror that was the 2020 to 2021 school year, a recent edict by the Virginia Department of Education promises to impose even more radical changes that could soon make the commonwealth’s public schools unrecognizable.

Next year, our nation will celebrate 75 years since Jackie Robinson broke Major League Baseball’s color barrier. But three-quarters of a century after Robinson helped sports transcend racism, a new group of activists wants to ensure that future generations of ballplayers remain fixated on race. As a Virginia resident and parent of two young children, I find attempts to indoctrinate Little League coaches on critical race theory not only troubling but also extremely harmful.

President Biden Zoomed with world leaders last week to announce his plan to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions. Unfortunately, his proposal will almost certainly have the opposite effect by transferring relatively clean U.S. energy production to dirty producers overseas. As children, we learn that objects continue to exist even when they can’t be seen. Energy production is no exception. By canceling American projects, resource extraction and jobs are shifting to environmentally damaging operations in Russia, China and elsewhere.

Many Christians are feeling frustrated with the Biden administration. A recent op-ed in the Wall Street Journal points to how Joe Biden’s flip-flop on refugees is frustrating evangelicals who foolishly voted for him last November. As the Journal contributor noted, they have a reason to feel betrayed.  Believers who care about values, life, and religious liberty continue to find that the new administration has let them down time and time again. While Biden may attend Mass regularly, many of his policy positions raise questions of how diligently he practices his Catholic faith outside the four walls of his church. CORRECTIONS*

Last week, legal accountability group Judicial Watch dropped a bombshell: a nearly 600-page report proving the U.S. government has been buying and trafficking “fresh” aborted baby body parts. President Joe Biden last week proposed $400 billion in new federal spending on home- and community-based services for seniors and individuals with disabilities as part of a $2 trillion infrastructure package. While these provisions might at first glance seem out of place with a topic normally associated with roads and bridges, the proposal fits with the broader themes of Biden's plan. As with the overall package, Biden's home-based care proposal begins with a good idea but points it in the wrong policy direction, using it as an excuse to expand government rather than tackling important structural reforms.

With the turbulence of our current politics, it should come as no surprise that many Christians are looking for such height when it comes to political issues. Unfortunately, many are finding themselves in cul-de-sacs of confusion. The most recent evidence is the debate sparked over so-called "Christian nationalism," which, from the perspective of evangelical elites, is the bane of all Christian witness in the public square.

Are the ranks of the U.S. military riddled with white supremacists? CNN thinks so, and won’t let the facts get in the way of this compelling narrative. CNN makes its case in a story headlined, “Disproportionate number of current and former military personnel arrested in Capitol attack, CNN analysis shows.” This is both factually untrue and downright libelous. It dishonors the brave men and women who serve in our armed forces.

Rarely does anything in the news surprise me anymore, but consider today’s happenings an exception. In an explosive development, a whistleblower has delivered an email to Congress proving that Attorney General Merrick Garland lied under oath while testifying on Capitol Hill some weeks ago. As RedState reported at the time, Garland’s statements surrounding the targeting of parents as “domestic terrorists” simply did not add up, with his mix of denialism and unwillingness to address the issue only adding to the suspicion that the DOJ had and continued to act improperly. Kamala Harris' niece Meena has said parents can teach 'anti-racism at home' by telling their children the U.S. was founded by white supremacists and by filling their bookshelves with the works of 1619 Project founder Nikole Hannah-Jones. In a Washington Post op/ed published Tuesday night, Harris detailed how parents can educate kids by talking to them about the 'racism' that shapes America and how the country was 'stolen from Indigenous people'. She also took the opportunity to promote her own book club, Phenomenal Books, 'which spotlights the work of underrepresented authors, particularly women of color.' The nation's top infectious disease expert says he believes the definition of being 'fully vaccinated' against COVID-19 in the U.S. could change to include booster shots. Currently, any American who has received both shots of the two-dose Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines, or one shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, is considered fully vaccinated. But Dr Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said this may need to change to include extra doses. 'In my opinion, boosters are ultimately going to become a part of the standard regimen and not just a bonus,' he told Axios on Tuesday.

Herd immunity against the virus that causes COVID-19 may be impossible to reach, a federal health official said in little-noticed remarks earlier this month. “We would discourage a strict goal of a threshold where we think if we reach that, that community transmission will then cease,” Dr. Jefferson Jones, a medical officer on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) COVID-19 Epidemiology Task Force told a panel of the agency’s vaccine advisers. “I think thinking that we will be able to achieve some kind of threshold where there’ll be no more transmission of infections may not be possible,” Jones said.

Is Joe Biden plotting with House Democrats to replace Kamala Harris? Sure looks that way, given some curious goings on reported by Fox News's straight-news congressional correspondent, Chad Pergram (snip) The Pergram report follows from another rumor just a day ago of a Biden plan to kick Harris upstairs: Rumors have circulated that Biden may even be considering nominating Harris for a Supreme Court seat if one becomes vacant so that he can select a new Vice President. (snip) What's significant about that is that Joe has decades of friendships, alliances, and honor-among-thieves relationships throughout Congress. Harris, by contrast, has few allies, given her self-serving and ambitious nature.
