New York is battling its worst COVID-19 outbreak since spring as the number of reported cases jumped to a fresh seven-month high. Despite a high vaccination rate, the state’s seven-day average of positive cases is up to 5,438, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. That’s the worst it’s been since April 22, when a spring surge was dying down and the vaccination drive was just getting into high gear. Worse still, the number of cases in the Empire State has risen by a third in the past week alone, suggesting the resurgent pandemic will continue to spread in coming days and weeks.(Snip)New York boasts a 68%
Same here in Illinois. Gov. Fatbody is screeching about locking the place down again over it.

I was in the grocery store a few days ago. I would say that 80% of the customers did not have masks on even in the very lie-beral city I live in (Austin, TX).
Over the intercom, they did one of their pre-recorded messages asking people to wear masks to slow down the Covid pandemic. Like I said, most everybody was ignoring it. Seriously, how much more do they want to "slow down" this virus down? It has been nearly 2 years already for God's sake. Let it finish running it's course!!!!!
But we all know that lie-beral bureaucrats don't want things to "go back to normal". They love all the control they have had over the peasants the last 2 years, and aren't going to give that power and control up before they absolutely have to. I love living in Texas, and really feel for all those stuck in lie-beral states where the governors are going to milk all this control for as long as they can!!!!

I don't care about the number of reported cases. Millions of people have recently come down with colds yet no one is making a shtuss about that and demanding drastic action. What is the severity of theseason new cases? If people are not suffering from serious symptoms requiring hospitalization nor dying then stop the foolish hysteria.

So, how's that "vaccine" working for ya?
It doesn't prevent infection.
It doesn't prevent the spread (actually might increase it).
It causes untold damage to young bodies.
It causes the body to produce a protein then trains the same body's immune system to kill it. W T F!
It doesn't appear to lower fatalities for those with underlying conditions after all.

More proof, lockdowns, mask, vaccines and sheltering in place doesn't work.
Can we try something else?

Tough luck, New York, looks like it is back to lockdowns thanks to your totalitarian leaders.

Because the clot shot doesn't protect you from getting or spreading the virus.
It is possible that it may slightly reduce mortality from the virus, but that is still not proven.
In fact, there is a good possibility of Antibody Dependent Enhancement causing greater risk for the vaccinated.

Find out where the unvaccinated illegals are being dumped and you may have an answer

"Despite a high vaccination rate" Why do they still bother to include this disclaimer when the vaccination rate has no bearing on who catches what? The test will declare you positive no matter what and you will become a "case."

The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over again and not changing the outcome. Vaccinations don't work, they seem to just incubate variants. Treat the damn disease and tell people to do what they need to do to protect their immune systems. If you are too fat, lose weight. If you have diabetes then take all the supplements you can to stay healthy. Get outside into the sun light and fresh air and do all the other stuff to avoid colds.

Because draconian lockdowns, forced masking and banning the unvaxxed from society really really works.

Three things: 27 deaths a day. Meh. People die every day. Isn't that what the liberals say when someone cites the VAERS report on deaths following injection?
#9 has it: Illegals. Give us demographics on WHO is sick/dying.
And I agree with #11. TREAT the DISEASE. Simple aspirin cuts hospitalization by 44%. That was in American Thinker. There are online recipes for making homebrew quinine (3 lemon peels, three grapefruit peels, etc). Quinine... the active ingredient in hydroxychloroquine. Take Vitamin D. Have zinc on hand (it works on colds.... hence Zicam). What really fries my onions is when you call your doc (like I did) and let him know you had a positive test and they basically ignore you. Call us when you need a ventilator. While hospitalization is less than 1% among the unvaccinated (less if you had the stab).. this is medical malpractice. No 'Thank You, Essential Workers' crap from me.

Wearing a mask is like trying to stop no-see-um with a chain link fence.

If NYers would take the booster, and the pill out soon, wear a mask, social distance and stay home, lie in a wooden coffin, I think they could overcome these cases.

Since the media insists on mentioning the high vaccination rates, I wonder if there might just be a correlation between the high vaccination numbers and the high number of new cases. The wife and I are un-jabbed and we try to distance ourselves from the vaccinated Karen's, because we feel they are the super-spreaders. At 1st, we were upset when friends who had been jabbed avoided our company, but now we are thankful they did, and we are returning the favor by avoiding them. They act shocked when we explain why. It's going to make the upcoming holidays difficult, though, because some family members have been jabbed.

Despite being highly vaccinated, cases keep rising. Same story from place to place, almost as if the vaccine naysayers were right all along.
