Now, before you lose your mind over the title and the thought of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) at a swinger’s bar, let me explain. The name of the bar that she was at was Swingers.
The reason they call it Swingers is because, in addition to fancy cocktails and high-end street food, they have an adults-only mini-golf course or “crazy golf club,” as they call themselves. On the course, you are encouraged to drink, so Pelosi should fit right in.
Pelosi was at the bar with her arm around Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY), neither were wearing masks despite the city mandate to wear masks indoors

As if the backlog of processing illegal migrants isn’t jammed up enough due to the sheer number of them, the latest twist is that some countries refuse to take back their citizens. The countries that the largest number of migrants are coming from are Venezuela and Nicaragua.
Venezuela is where the largest number of migrants comes from now, exceeding the number of Mexicans coming across the border. Axios has a report that 800 Venezuelan migrants have crossed the border illegally every day for the last two weeks. This squares with reports from last summer about the growing problem of Venezuelans fleeing that country

The late brilliant columnist, author, and Fox News personality Charles Krauthammer observed in a 2002 column: “Conservatives think liberals are stupid. Liberals think conservatives are evil.” While I don’t disagree with Dr. Krauthammer, I do want to offer a variation: Liberals are terrified of conservatives.
Specifically, liberals are terrified of conservatives they view as a threat. Conservatives in positions of power, conservatives with a microphone and a substantive base that listens; conservatives who threaten the liberal narrative by telling America the truth, and even more threatening, exposing liberal lies.

During the Senate Watergate hearings that eventually brought down the presidency of Richard Nixon, Republican Sen. Howard Baker (Tenn.) asked a question that would live in infamy: “What did the president know, and when did he know it?” Now, nearly 50 years later, the question again begs to be asked.
This time, about a different president: What did Barack Obama know, and when did he know it?

Former Hawaii Congresswoman and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard has never been one to shy away from wading into hot button topics and angering “her side” in the process, and the Kyle Rittenhouse case has been no exception.
As we’ve previously reported, the prosecution in the closely-watched trial has done themselves zero favors over the last few days, suffering serious setbacks such as Judge Bruce Schroeder repeatedly admonishing them over their courtroom antics, with inarguably the biggest setback being that one of the prosecution’s star witnesses admitted on the stand that Rittenhouse only shot at him

Historians of the future, savoring ‘possum goulash around their campfires, will marvel that modern medicine squandered its authority, its credibility, and its sacred honor in the Covid Panic of the 2020s, when public health officials and doctors in clinical practice colluded to force mass vaccinations while suppressing news of the harms and injuries the vaccines caused — potentially sacrificing millions of citizens like so many experimental fruit flies.

The FBI’s presence in Kenosha sets off a cascade of questions, all of the answers to which should trigger every alarm in the book.
The Rittenhouse trial has been a marvel to watch, simply because the prosecution’s presentation of this case has been a train wreck of dumpster fires. We’ve watched as the defense has absolutely fileted almost everything the prosecution has presented, as the Judge continues to make statements that will likely benefit the defense’s case. However, a funny thing happened in the courtroom that went by even me for a bit. Here we were talking about the various videos that were taken at the scene

If Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) thought they had Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) anywhere close on Build Back Better before, the elections appear to have solidified his stand for common sense when it comes to the Build Back Better bill.
While some on the left don’t seem to have learned the lessons that Tuesday brought, Manchin was always one-up on them and now he’s more assured than ever on his stand, as he told Fox’s Bret Baier. “I hope it’s a wake-up call for all of us,” he said. Baier asked if the results in the elections emboldened him

Last month, columnist David Frum penned a piece for The Atlantic that revealed he knows as much about firearms as Michael Moore does about dieting. In his article, “Responsible Gun Ownership Is a Lie,” he argues that Americans are better off with strict gun control designed to make it more difficult for people to own firearms. Frum makes most of the usual anti-Second Amendment arguments in his piece, deceptively claiming that lax gun control laws make people less safe. But, as with most of his anti-gun comrades, Frum fails to make a compelling case.

Lifeline is a federal program originally intended to provide low-income people with a free landline phone. Sensing a chance to get more poor people to vote for them, Democrats expanded the program to include free cell phones. To maximize the number of subsidized cell phone recipients, “free phone” vans patrol low-income areas of every Democrat-run city in America, a practice that has resulted in massive fraud. The “free phones” van pictured above set up shop on a street in a predominately African American area of Baltimore.

Earlier this year, Coca-Cola weighed in along with other Georgia-based corporations like Delta Airlines in response to the fauxtrage generated by wokesters who opposed the Georgia election integrity reform bill that had been passed by the GOP-controlled state legislature and signed into law by Gov. Brian Kemp at the time.
After the CEOs of these companies stabbed in the back the very state that had supported them the most, which coupled with the Stacey Abrams-led boycott push and Major League Baseball’s decision to pull the All-Star game out of the state costing business owners already struggling to stay afloat 100s of millions of dollars, the backlash to the backlash was swift

First things first. National Review Editor Rich Lowry is not a “die-hard” Trump fan. We’ll offer several examples later in the article — but let’s first get to the business at hand. As Lowry sees it, it’s a fool’s game to overestimate Trump’s dominance of the Republican Party this far in advance of the 2024 election.
Lowry writes, in an op-ed posted by The New York Post on Friday, that Republican politicians who think the Republican Party belongs to Trump can be forgiven, given that he not only survived two impeachments and the January 6 attack against the U.S. Capitol; he has since continued to thrive.

The future of this country is all about the middle; the independents/moderates. And when they see situations like this one, it will push them to the right. God bless Winsome Sears.
