A week before the Virginia governor’s race, President Joe Biden came to Arlington to rally for Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe. He dutifully ticked through McAuliffe’s record, mentioned McAuliffe’s campaign promises, and then did what he really came to do: talk about Donald Trump.
“Just remember this,” Biden told the crowd. “I ran against Donald Trump. And Terry is running against an acolyte of Donald Trump.”Biden spoke at length about GOP candidate Glenn Youngkin’s veiled embrace of the ex-president. And he reminded everyone of Trump’s greatest hits, from fomenting the Jan. 6 Capitol riot to his tendency to speak ill of deceased critics like John McCain and Colin Powell.

A dismal performance by Democratic candidates in New Jersey and Virginia is sparking a sense of panic among Democrats who now view their Senate and House majorities as in serious peril in the 2022 midterm elections.
In Virginia, a state President Biden won by 10 points a year ago, Democrats saw former Gov. Terry McAuliffe fall to defeat in a state the polls suggested he had been leading months ago.
In New Jersey, a strong performance by little-known former GOP Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli against Gov. Phil Murphy (D) was too close to call. Democrats had expected Murphy to win easily.

Project Veritas released a new video Wednesday showing New Jersey election workers breaking several laws in allowing a non-citizen, non-registered voter to cast a ballot in the gubernatorial election.
In the video, a man comes in to the East Orange, New Jersey, polling station telling the workers that he’s an Irish citizen in the U.S. on a work visa and wants to vote.
He informs one worker he voted in the presidential election even though he wasn’t registered.
“Remember, we were allowing anyone to come in,” chimes in another worker.
That’s the first broken law, Project Veritas points out: “NJS 19:4-1,”

Yes, Virginia (and the rest of the country), Donald Trump matters.
With his post-election popularity and influence at the highest, the former president’s four endorsed candidates in Tuesday’s elections all won, highlighted by Virginia Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin, the rookie politician who beat lifetime pol Terry McAuliffe. In the elections, two Trump-backed candidates also beat two of President Joe Biden’s endorsed challengers — the victories seen by some Republicans as a sign of 2020 election buyer's remorse and a 2024 preview.
“The power of President Trump’s endorsement is undeniable,” said Brian Jack, the former Trump White House political director.“President Trump continues to be a huge boost for Republicans across the country,” added Republican National

President Biden inadvertently disclosed Tuesday that one of his granddaughters works for billionaire former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who briefly was one of his Democratic primary rivals.
Biden made the revelation during a press conference in Glasgow, Scotland, when he called on reporter “Jen Epstein of the Wall Street Journal” to ask him a question.
Epstein corrected the president that she works for Bloomberg News, which is owned by the financial entrepreneur, who was mayor from 2002 to 2013.
“Excuse me. I beg your pardon,” Biden told Epstein. “I hope — I got it. I got it, especially since my granddaughter works for you guys.

All of the major networks and the Associated Press have declared that Glenn Youngkin will be the next governor of Virginia. According to Politico, Youngkin currently leads by 2.7 percentage points. Terry McAuliffe’s un-concession speech made it all too obvious that he has controversial election attorney Marc Elias working on this even as you read this. Will it work? Nope. (Snip) There is no automatic recount in Virginia, and any loser contesting the election must show that the margin between the recount requester and the winning candidate is less than or equal to one percent of the total votes cast for the two candidates.

When the pandemic hit, America needed someone to turn to for advice. The media and public naturally looked to Dr. Anthony Fauci—the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, an esteemed laboratory immunologist and one of President Donald Trump's chosen COVID advisers. Unfortunately, Dr. Fauci got major epidemiology and public health questions wrong. Reality and scientific studies have now caught up with him.Natural immunity. By pushing vaccine mandates, Dr. Fauci ignores naturally acquired immunity among the COVID-recovered, of which there are more than 45 million in the United States. Mounting evidence indicates that natural immunity is stronger and longer lasting than vaccine-induced immunity.

A lawyer for the “Rust” assistant director who reportedly handed the revolver in the deadly on-set shooting to Alec Baldwin said it wasn’t her client’s responsibility to confirm the gun was unloaded — even though he has told police he should have checked all the rounds.
Attorney Lisa Torraco also insisted in her interview on Fox News Monday that David Halls did not handle the gun the day Baldwin fatally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza.
“This idea my client grabbed the gun and handed it to Baldwin absolutely did not happen,” Torraco said before backtracking and dodging questions about whether the

President Joe Biden notched a preliminary win at the G-20 summit in Rome, securing an agreement from leaders representing the world's largest economies regarding a 15% global minimum tax.
Biden and his aides had previewed a potential pact as the most likely deliverable from the summit as centrist Democrats at home block the president's attempts to reform the tax code to pay for his social welfare and climate spending package.A senior administration official heralded the arrangement after the first plenary session of the two-day summit at Rome's convention center, telling reporters all participants "came out in support of a global minimum tax."

Florida’s health department “whistleblower” Rebekah Jones has accused CNN host Jake Tapper of slander, adding that “suing for libel and slander takes years and is expensive” – adding that individuals should have the right to file criminal complaints against journalists who produce unflattering reports of their subjects.Jones herself has been the subject of several critical reports debunking her claims against the Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and filed a restraining order against journalist Christina Pushaw, who is now DeSantis’ press secretary, for writing about her lies.
Jones, a dashboard manager who worked for the Florida Department of Health, has repeatedly claimed that DeSantis pressured her into manipulating data

Terry McAuliffe wants the voters of Virginia to give him a second term as governor, yet he refuses to be honest with them about the curricula to which students are subjected in the Old Dominion’s public school system. He continues to insist that Critical Race Theory (CRT) isn’t taught in the state’s schools while accusing his Republican opponent in Virginia’s gubernatorial contest of using CRT as a “racist dog whistle.” In reality, the Commonwealth’s education system was initially infected with this pernicious ideology during McAuliffe’s first term as governor and it has rapidly metastasized during the past four years under his Democratic successor Ralph Northam.

The president of a California school district was caught cursing on a hot mic during a school board meeting Tuesday, after a parent gave a speech knocking masks in classrooms and COVID-19 vaccination mandates for students.
Lauren Roupoli, who called herself a concerned parent, addressed the Los Alamitos Unified School District Board of Education and spoke about the problems she perceives are involved with enforcing a mask mandate in children. (Snip) "We are vocal because we are our children’s biggest advocates."
Her comment apparently did not sit well with Marlys Davidson, the board’s president, who was picked up on a hot mic saying, "F--- you," during the applause.
