In a case that has generated a political firestorm, a Virginia juvenile court judge found sufficient evidence during a trial Monday to sustain charges that a teen sexually assaulted a classmate in the girls’ bathroom of a Loudoun County high school in May.
The teenager, now 15, is also charged with the sexual assault of another student that occurred months later at a different Loudoun school. Loudoun County juvenile court Chief Judge Pamela L. Brooks said she would wait to sentence the teen until that case is decided in November.
The judge’s finding is the juvenile court equivalent of a guilty verdict in other courts.

President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better agenda, rife with welfare spending and tax hikes on American workers, is facing a critical nine days, in which the White House is hoping for a legislative victory to push Democrat gubernatorial candidates in New Jersey and Virginia over the finish line.
“The next nine days are the most important of Biden’s young presidency: He needs to rescue his legislative agenda in Congress, [and] rescue his party’s political candidates in two states,” Politico Playbook wrote Monday.
Within the next nine days, Biden will go across the country to promote the largest welfare package since Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society legislation and

President Joe Biden hosted breakfast for Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on Sunday but emerged with no deal to help pay for his nearly two trillion entitlement spending plan.
The president hosted Manchin and Schumer at his home in Delaware, as he continues leaving Washington, DC, on weekends. His agenda remains stalled in Congress as the Democrat moderates and progressives struggle with the price tag of his agenda and how to pay for it.
While no final deal was reached, Manchin reacted favorably to more new taxes on billionaires and a 15 percent corporate minimum tax for companies using

In a recent article, the New York Times outlines the seemingly coordinated media blitz orchestrated by far-left Facebook “whistleblower” Frances Haugen. The Times compares the coordinated release of stories from Haugen’s team to an “outlet store” of leaked insider documents.
The New York Times reports in an article titled “Inside the Big Facebook Leak,” that far-left Facebook “whistleblower” Frances Haugen is spending her time deciding who she would trust with a number of internal Facebook documents which have since been reported on extensively. Although she initially fed the information to the Wall Street Journal for what the Times labels a “boutique rollout,”

The Wall Street Journal has published internal material from anonymous sources at Facebook revealing that the company introduced tools that suppressed the traffic of Breitbart News by 20 percent, and other conservative publishers by double-digit margins.
The company introduced two tools after the 2016 election that disproportionately harmed conservative publishers. The Journal highlights internal Facebook research showing that if both tools were removed, it would increase traffic to Breitbart News by 20 percent, the Washington Times by 18 percent, Western Journal by 16 percent, and the Epoch Times by 11 percent. Facebook eventually removed one of the tools while keeping the other

Going back to the 2020 presidential campaign, right-leaning media has been well ahead of the curve in asking serious questions about President Joe Biden’s mental health. As his presidential term has aged, things have only gotten worse, with numerous scenes of confusion and anger taking place.
Just days ago, the president appeared to forget where he was, having to be saved by his wife (see Jill Biden Steps in to Save a Confused, Meandering Joe Biden). Other examples include Biden seemingly unable to control his anger at times, including with the families of slain soldiers. Past that, odd word salads and bumbling speeches

The Wall Street Journal has obtained internal Facebook documents that shed light on how politics has affected the social media giant’s behavior in recent years. Some argue that the documents confirm suspicions that Facebook deliberately suppresses conservative views, but to me the story seems more complicated than that:
Many Republicans, from Mr. Trump down, say Facebook discriminates against conservatives. The documents reviewed by the Journal didn’t render a verdict on whether bias influences its decisions overall. They do show that employees and their bosses have hotly debated whether and how to restrain right-wing publishers, with more-senior employees often providing a check on agitation from the rank and file.

Sports writers, MLB staffers, and the commissioner of baseball, in particular, must still be clutching their pearls. Last night, 41,000 unmasked Braves fans screamed their un-masked and un-mandated lungs out, all while tomahawk-chopping their Atlanta Braves to victory. Atlanta was denied this year’s All Star Game because Commissioner Manfred caved to craven political actors. Baseball, he said, can’t have a featured event in Georgia after it passed a voter ID law. Baseball moved the event to Colorado. Colorado already had similar voter law but no matter; its all about optics, not facts.
In July, Texas Democrats slinked away to avoid a quorum on a Texas voter law.

After a two-decade absence, the Braves are back in the World Series for the first time this millennium. They eliminated the reigning champion Dodgers in the National League Championship Series, capped by a 4-2 victory in Game 6 on Saturday in front of 43,060 fans at Truist Park.
These Braves defied the odds every step of the way. This time, it was one of their July newcomers, Eddie Rosario, who put the team into the Fall Classic. Rosario had perhaps the greatest series in Braves history, collecting 14 hits. He appropriately delivered the big blow Saturday, smashing a three-run homer off Walker Buehler to put the Braves ahead for good.

RICHMOND, VA — Former President Barack Obama exhorted Virginians to support Democrat Terry McAuliffe’s candidacy for governor, warning of the dire consequences for the state and the country if he were to lose.
“We’re at a turning point right now both here and in America and around the world. There's a mood out there, we see it: a politics of meanness,” Obama told an estimated crowd of around 2,000 people on a sun-dappled afternoon at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Obama presented the choice for Virginians as between McAuliffe, who he said would keep moving the state forward, and Republican candidate Glenn Youngkin, who he said has been “encouraging the lies and conspiracy theories

Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin said Saturday that if he is elected the commonwealth's next governor he will "ban" the teaching of critical race theory on his first day in office.
Youngkin's remarks came as he spoke about educational improvements he would implement in the state should he be elected. "We all know education starts with curriculum," Youngkin told his supporters at a rally on Saturday. "We will teach all history, the good and the bad." "America has fabulous chapters and it's the greatest country in the world, but we also have some important chapters in our history, we must teach them," Youngkin added, saying

Welp, guess who’s in trouble with lawmakers, again? Make that still.
Yup, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the emerging and infectious diseases “expert” has been implicated in a series of taxpayer-funded, animal-testing experiments. Beagle puppies, that is. This time, a bipartisan group of lawmakers is demanding answers. According to the White Coat Waste Project (a watch group committed to stopping taxpayer-funded experiments on dogs, monkeys, cats, and other animals), as reported by Daily Caller, 44 beagles were used in the experiments conducted in a Tunisia, North Africa, laboratory. Some of the dogs reportedly had their vocal cords removed, allegedly so scientists could work without incessant barking.
