It should be obvious that no sane parent would ever allow ideology to supersede the proper education of her children. Yet, during the past year, it has become equally clear that many of the nation’s school systems are indoctrinating students using politically tendentious curricula that most of the public considers . . . well . . . insane. This has resulted in widespread protests by parents of all political persuasions to which school boards have responded with stunning hostility. The magnitude of this animus was revealed this week when the National School Boards Association (NSBA) equated parents with “domestic terrorists,” and the Biden administration directed the FBI to investigate them.

Getting down to the local level. Here's where we find out the answer to Franklin's question regarding a Republic: Can we keep it?

Further proof that Christopher Wray is among the worst of the corruptocrats. Boy, did we dodge a bullet when Mutch got one right and refused to appoint Garland to the Supremes!

Useful. But an idiot.
Totally agree #3: Mitch (you say Mutch; I say Mitch) helped us dodge a bullet.

The question is are enough Americans going to wake up to government tyranny when they see it or not? This administration has taken a leap forward to totalitarianism and have no intention of going back. In fact, each time they are confronted with opposition, they double down. I am gobsmacked by their hubris. Who would have thought that an administration would openly enact policies and give directions to its various agencies that are in direct violation of the Constitution? While that is bad enough, who would have ever thought that Our elected leadership would let them without mounting some kind of massive opposition?
It is a shame the Republican Leadership is as placidly unresponsive and without a strategy to fight this administration. We are in the midst of a Constitutional crisis and Mitch and Kevin act like it is just another day at the office. The barbarians are in side the gate and these two dunderheads still can’t see how critical a full frontal vigorous attack is. These buffoons are weak and ineffective when it should be they who are leading the charge. A few mildly worded criticisms at the microphone or a few posts on social media is not getting it. There is a Republic to keep and these fools seem to be oblivious. They wanted the job and swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States and both are failing miserably. They need to show the courage of conviction that these parents are showing. Clearly, it is we the people who are willing to fight this fight. What good is an opposition party that fails to effectively oppose an illegitimate and lawless administration?

FTA: Gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe declared during a debate, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.” Of course, Terry. I guess we should simply let American-hating Marxists like you indoctrinate our children into little commies with our tax dollars, and keep our mouths shut, or the FBI will come knocking.
I better check my garage-door pull rope.

It's interesting that this came about during the Covid lockdowns. Parents actually got to see first hand what's going on in schools as they and their kids stayed at home. It's a little bit of an ironic backlash.

I believe those Parents should call private meetings, in Private Homes, and convince ALL Democrats attending to go and change their Affiliation from Democrat to Republican. Most States allow them to do it online. If not, the DMV. SEND A MESSAGE! It's time to wake up the Biden Administration to the fact that they can NOT continue to run rampant, slashing and burning, and expect that they will stay in office. It's time to say STOP! Biden and his Administration have done NOTHING good since day one when they shut down the Pipeline! Every day they fight the American People and try to take away more and more of our Rights. These Parents should organize State Wide, then get ALL the States involved in changing their Voter Registrations from Democrat to Republican. Sooner or later someone in Washington is going to wake up and see what has happened. All of a sudden, they will realize if they keep kicking the Voters in the Teeth, they are going to LOSE bigly!!

Parents, take your children out of these lefty indoctrination centers and send them elsewhere or to alternative charter schools if you can. Make these school districts and school boards dry up like dehydrated fruit. A weaponized doj will get the idea. And, yes, recall all union-backed school board members soonest.

Is it just a coincidence, reported today, that Garland's daughter married the co-found of the company that supplies critical race material to schools? Just asking.

Ditto, ditto, ditto to Ldotter #6. The Biden cabal's siccing of the FBI on parents is just the natural trajectory of a totalitarian regime that is meeting no organized political resistance. As the attacks on our liberties continue with no punishing repercussions, the Biden cabal will keep on going. I'm afraid we ain't seen nothin' yet unless somehow we (and I mean we the people, certainly not the useless republicans) figure out a way to wrestle back our country.

This morning when I woke up I thought, I wonder what is going to upset me today.
I never thought the evil hombres on the Left would resort to this. They are acting like the cornered rats that they are. They know we have the people on our side. The school boards are elected by us and can be fired by us.
I think we all know where this is headed and that we must stand up to it. We have many good Republicans in Washington that need to be supported with phone calls and emails. This is going to come down to the grass roots, people rising and shouting from the roof tops. We have a lot more on our side then they do.

Simple solution... all children should be home schooled or go to private schools...and WE should fight for school choice so the children can take their allocated federal school funds to the school of their choice...that will set the teacher's union of America on it's ear....

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times: We no longer have public schools, we have government schools, and the sooner citizens realize this, the better. The Feds control everything about these schools, from the courses they teach to the bathrooms they use to the food on the lunch plate.

Those who change our language to have words mean the opposite are just cruising for a bruising. We will live to see it. Isaiah, a celebrity in his time, said it better.

Allow the Federal Bureau of Incompetents to do their job. Like they did at Waco. Like they did in 2000 at the Olympics. Like they did with Russia! Russia! Russia!. The FBI will keep us safe from the Constitution. The FBI will keep us safe from having a Republic. The FBI will guarantee Communist rule, now and forever.
All hail the FBI.
Don't bother to vote. The Dems already have all the ballots they need, no voters need apply.

Get your kids out of public schools now and home school. Your kids will learn better than in many public schools in my experience and public schools will be deprived of revenue when attendance declines.
