Albany—New York officials are prepared to call in medically trained National Guard members and retirees to address potential staffing shortages caused by an approaching COVID-19 vaccine mandate for health care workers, Gov. Kathy Hochul said Saturday.(Snip)As of Wednesday, 84% of hospital employees in New York were fully vaccinated, according to the governor’s office. Additionally, 81% of staff at adult-care facilities and 77% of nursing home workers in New York were fully vaccinated as of Thursday.(Snip)The Department of Labor also issued guidance to clarify that health care workers who are terminated because of their refusal to be vaccinated against COVID are not eligible for unemployment

The people who matter have access to doctors who are happy to say, sure, you've been vaccinated, here's your passport. These employer mandates should be illegal, yet no one on the federal level and few on the state levels are lifting a finger to stop it, let alone to object.

Former Gov. Andrew "Nursing Home Murderer" Cuomo most likely talking to consultants as to how to improve his image. For sure will talking to his brother for advice - Chris "Cockroach" Cuomo of the Cockroach News Network.
Maybe even get together and write a book which will be free to the many pukes within the MSM.

Let's see. How can we make the pandemic crisis even worse? I know! Fire a bunch of health workers who have been putting their lives on the line for 18 months. Pure genius that could only come from an idiot progressive politician.

Yes, large numbers of the folks who have been closest to the whole Wuhan flu crisis....have decided to not take The Shot.
I'm sure that Dr. Fraud will say it's because of their ignorance. Once again, it will be the opposite of what Dr. Fraud says. It will be because of their knowledge.
And yet, these political thugs will fire them to enhance their power, they imagine.

NY is gone. There is no saving this progressive wasteland. It is too bad, it is a beautiful part of the USA, but we have been ruined by years (by both Demoncrats and Rockefeller Republicans) of overspending, corruption, graft, bullying and so much more. It is repulsive what has happened to the great Empire State and the same, I fear, is happening to the entire USA.

I only know about one hospital and what is going on there. Former colleagues are nurses in a Ft. Worth hospital. As hospitals being threatened with cut off of funds if they do not follow government guidelines, they are not giving in quickly to loss of workers. They are working to get more Filipina nurses over to fill the jobs.

This makes my blood boil. My nephew is a medic in the National Guard who was deployed to Somalia. That was tough, but that’s what he signed up for. He did not sign up to do whatever job is needed to save the Governor’s bacon (or at least his aunt did not sign up for that!). People do realize Guard members are not “government employees” but citizen soldiers whose jobs, lives, and families are disrupted whenever they’re “called up” (like to spend a month or two sleeping in a DC garage), don’t they?

#9, all you say is true, of couse. But these folks despise the military, in general, and don't care the slightest bit about killing people, why would they care about disrupting some guardsman's life?
They absolutely don't care.

Says the government to the people, inject this liquid into your body or we'll deprive you of your livelihood and refuse to let you access unemployment insurance, so you can starve in the street. USA, USA!
