A new variant of the COVID-19 virus has been identified at a Kentucky nursing home, where it infected 45 residents and workers, many of whom were vaccinated.
The R.1 variant originated in Japan, and contains dangerous mutations that can improve “transmission, replication, and immune suppression,” a scientist wrote in Forbes Monday.
There are already more than 10,000 entries of the R.1 variant in a database used by researchers to track genomic material, infectious disease expert Dr. William Haseltine said.
The variant shares the highly infectious D614G mutation that is present in other variants fueling new surges of the coronavirus, according to the doctor.

Those who really know about such things have told us that the shots have actually narrowed the body’s immunity so that it is less apt to be able to fight off “variants”.

Still can't figure out if all this is so dangerous why are all the illegal border crossers being released in the USA with no testing etc. They are being transported to areas within the USA - why? I think it's to keep the fear up and spread covid where one has a 99.8% chance of surviving. How much longer are we going to put up with this farce.

This narrowly focused "vaccine" provides very narrowly focused immunity, at best. And against a rapidly mutating RNA virus, that is nearly worthless to prevent the disease over any substantial time period.
And then there is the risk of The Shot, both short term and long term to come to terms with. What a hideous, stupid, incompetent mess. Dr. Fraud has a lot to answer for.

All this talk of more variants is working. When was the last time you heard anything about people being left in Afghanistan?

Are doctors ever going to get tired of having no guns in this fight but a single shot 22 vaccine that misses a quarter of the time? Other than antibodies which are pricey, hard to administer, and now being rationed, the FDA says there is nothing that doctors can do, which is a bald faced lie and they know it.
Ivermectin has proven to my satisfaction that it works both prophylactically and to prevent the virus from replicating when administered in the early stage of the illness. The work done in India on the ground has proved that.
When will doctors finally revolt against the conspiracy to murder old people while enriching Pfizer and the Democrats they are paying off and finally start being doctors again and not just stooges in white coats?

Same article appears on the Daily Mail. Of interest is that this happened at least 4 and a half months ago (reported on May 4), and only now have they offered up a flimsy excuse for the failure of the shot.

Just wondering these days, is COVID Noah's flood only it takes longer than 40 days and nights??? God said he wouldn't use water again, i.e. the Rainbow, which was co-opted by the immoral LGBTQXYZ'ers, but he didn't mention a man created virus...

What happened to the cute device of naming all the variants after the Greek alphabet? They can't even be consistent in their imagery. It must be getting tougher to ramp up the fear if they have to dredge up a four-month old story, but it does feature their favorite fear location of nursing homes.
Meanwhile the most consequential story on the planet is being totally ignored by the world press. The citizens of Australia are in a street fight against their fascist overloads. The only site I'm finding reports is on The Last Refuge. Pray for our Aussie mates - they are showing us the way out of this mess.

There are no tests to find out what "variant" you have. The test only tests for "flu". Covid is a flu.

A comment about the variant names and the Greek alphabet why the change now. It's the left being clever like a word salad that means nothing at all. The variants need scary names with numbers just go ahead and call it the AK47 variant or M-16 variant see make it sound destructive and deadly. Stupid but not so clever leftist can herd us much anymore.

Unfortunately, nursing homes are usually the last stop before the checkout stand. Those who are not in them need to recover from Covid Anxiety Disorder (my name for it) and get on with life.

it is a fact, older, more vulnerable people get sick faster than anyone else and usually suffer more from the illness than other people, especially when locked up in nursing homes
