New reporting from The Washington Post, detailing the contents of a new book, shows General Mark Milley reassured China's People's Liberal Army General Li Zuocheng that he would give the communist country a heads up if President Donald Trump launched an attack in the final months of his presidency. He did so in a series of reported phone calls and reassured Li he would stand between Trump and an attack on Chinese assets. In a pair of secret phone calls, Gen. Mark A. Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, assured his Chinese counterpart, Gen. Li Zuocheng of the People’s Liberation Army
Under the Army’s height/weight standard the maximum weight for a male of his height is 201 lbs. He is at least 40 pounds overweight.

Clearly, Milley drank the leftists' Kool-Aid about Trump's "instability." More likely he was extremely frustrated at the intransigence of the Deep State and his inability to fire the main culprits, Milley being one of them.

If this is true, Gen. Milley needs a cigarette and a blindfold, after his trial, of course.
This is pure treason.

I hope that someone gets to the bottom of this and confirms this apparent treason. IF true he must be tried, and dealt with SWIFTLY. This cannot stand. No wonder he's trying to convert our military into a bunch of pansies... its so we cannot defend ourselves against China.

Notice with all these things, Trump has done nothing to cause it, it is always based on someone else’s imagining what he might do.

If true, and if Trump really was a loose cannon, then good for Milley.
But if Trump was not seemingly going nuts, then if Milley did this, he was wrong to do so.
We’ll never know the truth, so I really don’t care.

Milley will stay, as he is undoubtedly a liberal Democrat and today the leftist and socialist Democrats control the Congress. If the wimpy Republicans want Milley to be dumped that are going to have start winning elections.

This was exactly why everyone of the "elites" regardless of party felt morally justified to steal the 2020 election and maintain the "Big Lie" coverup. They all know they've committed treason and are following the classic "prisoner's dilema" strategy. If everyone maintains the lie they can beat the hangman but if anyone squeals they all go down. This includes the media. They will never admit their crime no matter how much evidence is presented because they know the stakes.

Unbelievable! If true, Milley needs to be removed immediately, if not worse. Under no circumstances can the chairman of the joint chiefs independently call our enemy inferring instability of our Commander in Chief. He would have numerous other options that he could pursue with our own civilian leaders. What he did is absolutely unthinkable and should cause his dismissal without delay.

Wow. If this report is true, Milley ought to be charged with and convicted of treason, followed by the blindfold and the cigarette. Dancing the hempen jig would also be condign. Boogie down, fruit salad.

It kind of reminds me of when former General Alexander Haig (then Secretary of State) assured the press that he was in charge while Bush was on AF1 on September 11, 2001. One presumes that Haig was at least smart enough to not call foreign leaders. What Milley did was mutiny.

Holy crap. When even **this guy** says you've gone too far in breaking chain of command and engaging in treasonous behavior, you know you've gone way, way, way too far.

If this is true GEN Milley must resign. He usurped civilian authority, broke Chain of Command, and violated the sacrosanct principle of civilian control over the military. It’s an extremely dangerous precedent. You can’t simply walk away from that. #dotherightthingintherightway twitter.com/washingtonpost…

Milley channeling his inner Vindman. Both believe they are better than the CiC. Both are "rank" failures. Milley should be court-martialed for violating Articles 88 and 89 of the UCMJ. His action disrespected the Commander in Chief.

He should be arrested, charged, court marshalled and sentenced to death for treason.
He should be hung by the neck until dead on the Washington mall. It should be on pay per view.
C'mon American Patriots what the F more evidence do you need?!!
THEY DO NOT FEAR US.

If I were Milley, I'd be more worried about what Xiden was going to do than what President Trump was going to do. Unless he knows others are really in charge, and he agrees with them. Fry the traitor, if proven true

#16, I think Haig was Sec of State during Reagan's admin.
Chain of command / order of ascension issue came up after the assassination attempt, if I recall correctly.

Um, #16, Haig was Reagan’s Secstate and made that statement when Ronaldus Magnus was shot by John Hinkley. I shared an elevator ride with Haig at the American Embassy in Brussels about a year later.
