When Joe Biden declared Kamala Harris his running mate in the 2020 election, it perplexed many among his allies and detractors. Why on earth did Joe opt for a relatively youthful individual who makes him look even older than he is in contrast? What caused Joe to choose somebody who lambasted him during the primaries and accused him of racism? (snip) The fact that Joe kept referring to his government as the Harris Biden administration and on some occasions called her President Harris further fuelled conspiracies It, therefore, wasn’t a matter of if but when Kamala Harris replaced Joe Biden.

Here's the reason for Kamala. They really wanted Susan Rice but Rice had too much dirty baggage. So they took Kamala because her skin color was what they needed or wanted and she was female. Don't think for one minute that this mess is not part of Rice's doing. She as well as Jarrett and Obama are behind this and Joe will take the fall for it.

I sorta felt like he was going to pick Jeb Bush, Mittens Romney or some other democrat in waiting. Neither a good choice for America but they could at least cobble together a complete sentence containing a noun, a verb and perhaps a few adjectives strung together in the proper order that would convey a compete thought....

She was not picked for anything she could bring to the ticket except she was touted by the media as a "female Obama" Really, who among his competitors for the nomination was considered a moderate except Rep. Tulsi Gabbard??? The media and other candidates did everything in their power to ruin her-- even Madam Broomstick Hitlery called her a Russian asset even though she was a MAJOR in the Army. The others running for the nomination were unbefiting the office and Rep. Clyburn effectivley made him the front runner and the others fell by the wayside. ALL of the other candidates were RABID SOCIALISTS. There is no way JoeBamBiteMe is his own man-- he is an amalgam of a person run by Pharoah Nobama, Susan Rice, Bernie Sanders, and Valerie Jarret and those in the realm of the "Masters of the Universe" in the social media who have no use for Kamala lala. Whenever any question of substance or controversy is asked of her, she immitates that hyena laught from Hildebeest as her stalling tactic while trying to think of something from her prepared "talking points list" or some way to NOT answer the question directly or to give an answer other than the one that should be given to the question asked. Kamala lala is someone who stays out of the way and the media largely ignores, but she is fast becoming the one in the limelight as DementiaJoe falters away into oblivion....

In National Review Saturday morning, the great and the good are affirming their “long-held doubts about Biden’s ability.” (snip) I guess you could say that this is progress. Up till now, the only thing the “ruling clique” cared about was that Trump is a Problem. Otherwise everything was copacetic, except that we had only 12 years to save the planet. As for the rest of the ruling class, the credentialed and educated liberals everywhere from tech to think tanks to universities to media to NGOs and the nice liberal ladies and their virtue-signaling #WeBelieve yardsigns? They are both selling influence. The art and the foundation are merely instruments to launder bribes. We’d been told earlier that day that the President and Commander-In-Chief was going to address the bomb that killed Marines and a Navy corpsman in Kabul. Biden was 25 minutes late. One of the Marine Corps principles of leadership is to accept responsibility for your actions. (snip) If you think anyone will be held to account over this utter Afghan debacle, consider this: In 1999, Amendment #388 to the Defense appropriations bill passed the U.S. Senate (described on page S5891 of the Congressional Record — Senate for May 25, 1999). The purpose of this amendment was to posthumously restore the rank and promote both Admiral Husband Kimmel and General Walter Short, the top Navy and Army Commanders at Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941.

One of the things that disgusted conservatives following news of the bloody terrorist attack in Kabul that killed twelve Marines and one Navy corpsman was the fact that Nancy Pelosi, during a public appearance in San Francisco, not only didn’t mention, she was also in an exceptionally jovial, joking mood. My bet is that this wasn’t mere callousness on her part. (snip) I believe that the reason Pelosi is behaving in this way is to keep her base from realizing that something bad happened. Biden had just concluded his address to the nation on the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, ending a war that had lasted 20 years. The president has been criticized for failing to anticipate the rapid crumbling of Afghan security forces in the face of the Taliban’s advance. That caused a chaotic scene at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, where the U.S. military hurried to evacuate more than 123,000 Americans and Afghans despite being surrounded by the Taliban and ISIS-K.

I ask this question for two reasons: I have seen enough videos and read about enough officer-civilian interactions to know that the act of subduing a lethal threat requires several rounds. If an intruder entered my home and threatened my wife and child, I would shoot until I was able to ensure the target was immobilized. As to the first statement, there are plenty of examples of police officers firing multiple shots at a suspected threat.
