As scenes of horror and terror continue to unfold in Kabul amid Presidentish Joe Biden’s haphazard and increasingly desperate evacuation efforts, many of us have said all week that it didn’t have to be like this. Here’s the proof. Raheem Kassam revealed on Wednesday that under President Donald Trump, Mike Pompeo’s State Department had ordered the creation of a “Contingency and Crisis Response” office whose job would be avoiding “a future Benghazi-style situation for Americans overseas.” But while Biden lied to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Wednesday that “We planned for every contingency,” behind the scenes,

Last month, Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity that he has made up his mind about running in 2024, but didnât say what the decision was.
Earlier this month, Trumpâs former chief of staff, Mark Meadows, revealed that Trump is âmoving forwardâ with a 2024 presidential run in a âreal way.â
On Wednesday, Trump gave yet another hint that he plans to run for president again in 2024, telling Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business, âYou are going to be very happyâ about the decision, but that her canât officially announce it because of campaign finance laws.
âThe campaign finance laws, which are antiquated and stupid,

When you think of places like Australia, you think theyâre just like us â they speak English and love freedom. Well, they do speak English, that much is true, but do they really love freedom like we do? Considering Democrats have control of government, it makes me wonder if we really love freedom all that much.
Putting that aside, the way governments all across Australia are conducting themselves during this pandemic should make everyone realize that the similarities may well just end at language. More importantly to us, what is happening in Australia is what Democrats would love to do here, so itâs important to keep an eye on.

A federal judge in Texas has permanently blocked the federal government from penalizing healthcare providers and insurance companies who refuse to perform gender reassignment surgeries.
The judge, Reed OâConnor of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, ruled in favor of the Obama-era initiative in 2019, but cited the âsubstantial burdenâ on the providersâ freedom of religion in his ruling on Monday, Aug. 9.
âPlaintiffs identified the substantial burden on their religious exercise as resulting from HHSâs attempt to âforce them to choose between federal funding and their livelihood as healthcare providers and their exercise of religion,ââ OâConnor wrote in his opinion.

A familiar refrain among Donald Trump supporters during his presidency was, âAre you tired of winning, yet?â Stronger borders, lower taxes, renegotiated trade deals, exits from globalist summits and confabs all fed the enthusiasm in the Trump voter that the country was back, and strong, and âwinning, winning, winning.â It wasnât as much Trump the man his voters were cheering. The left always incorrectly assumed it was about a cult of personality, nothing more.
What Trump voters were actually cheering was themselves and their own voice amplified. The belief in the greatness of the United States articulated through Trump.

Decades ago â on March 2, 1962 â the television show "The Twilight Zone" premiered an episode called âTo Serve Manâ which centered on the sudden arrival of outer space aliensâŚwho purportedly just wanted to provide humanitarian aid such as advanced chemicals which grew larger crops to end hunger.
Since many world leaders were understandably skeptical of the aliensâ motives, they presented earthlings with a book titled" To Serve Man" written in their own outer space language. (Cryptograhers quickly were drafted to try and decode the symbols on the pages.) The space creatures also offered to fly volunteers to their world to observe as proof that they could be trusted.

How is it that Democrats are so bad at this? Both Obama and Biden are dithering fools who have jeopardized American national security; Biden wasnât even for the raid that killed Osama bin Laden. Biden has outdone his boss regarding Afghanistan. Itâs a mess. Itâs an exit that is a total trainwreck. No one can give straight answers concerning why this fell apart. The intelligence community, the Pentagon, and the White House are all blaming each other. With all of the typical DC games, there are at least 10,000 Americans still trapped in Afghanistan. Whatâs the plan? I know weâre now staying until theyâre all out -

Sure, William Harrison died just 32 days after the inauguration. He was too stupid to wear a coat. But mishandling of the Shah in particular, and the middle east, in general, pushed Jimmy Carter into the âworst presidentâ spot. Now, Joe Biden is thundering past Jimmy Carter like a runaway train headed over the cliff.
In just seven months, America is experiencing the worst inflation, ever. Biden didnât just âheat upâ the economy, he put a hot iron into everyoneâs wallet. Biden converted the southern border from a border, into an express lane of illegal immigrants many of whom have been released into the interior,

Now, thereâs been a lot wrong, right down the line, when it comes to how Joe Biden has dealt with the debacle in Afghanistan.
But one of the main problems with his administration is the failure to actually speak frankly and with transparency with the American people. They started this off very badly with both Biden and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki being on vacation. Biden didnât even come back until Monday to make his speech. Then he went back to Camp David, and then came back to make a speech today. But that speech, as we previously reported, isnât on Afghanistan, itâs on the Wuhan coronavirus. Thatâs stunning.

The Biden administration is dealing with its deeply serious disasters in a deeply unserious way. Bidenâs ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, appeared on CNN with Wolf Blitzer Tuesday and said that the United States and its remaining allies worked really, truly, very hard on a response to the Taliban as it tightened its grip on Afghanistan.
That response â this is not a joke â came in the form of a strongly worded letter. Watch: [video]
In the interview, Blitzer brings up a report from the UN secretary-general that the Taliban is already engaging in reprisals and violence across Afghanistan, particularly against women and girls.

Seattle Of Course
A young couple with a two week old baby in the car was attacked by a mob of armed, homeless people that had previously burglarized the familyâs vehicle.
The couple showed up at the encampment to look for items stolen from their car several days earlier. They found their belongings, shoes and a blue-tooth speaker, and were trying to leave but were prevented by angry members of the great unwashed. Thatâs when things got crazy.
The donnybrook began when a vagrant woman ran across the stench camp and punched the mother. Her husband tried to intervene and got wacked with a five foot long conk buster,

The death toll in Haitiâs powerful earthquake jumped to over 1,200 on Sunday, as crews desperately dug through collapsed buildings for survivors in the Caribbean nation still reeling from its presidentâs assassination.
In Les Cayes, as in other hard-hit cities on the southwestern peninsula, most of the population spent the night sleeping outdoors in front of their houses â or what remained of them â amid fears of new aftershocks.
The streets there were filled with the grinding sounds of heavy equipment lifting debris from collapsed buildings, as well as the quieter sounds of people pulling away rubble by hand in desperate searches for the missing.
