A Colorado Springs father’s speech against critical race theory at a school district’s board meeting is taking the internet by storm.
The black man was clear that America is not a racist nation and that racism would “by and large be dead” if not for liberal institutions “keeping it on life support.” Turns out, his opinion appears to have helped persuade the board to vote to ban CRT.
“I am a direct descendant of the North American slave trade. Both my parents are black. All four of my grandparents are black, all eight of my great-great-grandparents, and all 16 of my great greats.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday that he had spoken with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton earlier in the week as Afghanistan fell back into Taliban hands amid an ill-planned pull-out of American military and diplomatic personnel.
Meanwhile, White House officials confirmed on Thursday as well that as events were unfolding in the southwest Asian nation where U.S. and NATO forces have been deployed for 20 years, President Joe Biden did not take any calls from nor did he contact key world leaders who grew increasingly concerned as the situation worsened and Taliban fighters erected a perimeter around Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul.

With the Biden administration refusing to commit to rescuing all U.S. citizens from Afghanistan, at least two other nations — Qatar and the United Kingdom — have reportedly taken up the challenging but doable task themselves.
This stunning finding was revealed by retired Marine and former Trump-era Deputy National Advisor Matt Pottinger during an appearance Wednesday on Fox Business Network’s “Kudlow.”
According to Pottinger, the Qataris have for their part been using their “lines of communication to the Taliban” to arrange transportation for Americans.
“They have in some cases — at the risk of the lives of their own diplomats — have been arranging for Americans and students, journalists,

With more parts of the country trampling on individual privacy and issuing requirements for vaccine passports, one medical professional is pushing back with a practical guide on Twitter.
Dr. Anthony Hinton, whose Twitter bio describes him as a “Consultant Surgeon with 30 years experience in the NHS,” posted a script from a scenario of a restaurant-goer being asked to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to be served.
“Next time you are asked for your COVID passport here’s what to do,” the tweet was captioned, in obvious response to the mandates in various cities and states that now require vaccine verification for entry and service.

Over a dozen members of the East Harlem, New York, “Chico Gang” were indicted in a joint investigation between police and prosecutors Wednesday, according to a press release from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.
Officials indicted 13 members of the gang on charges of conspiracy, attempted murder, including 21 alleged shootings that resulted in 12 victims, attempted assault and weapons possession, according to the press release. The street gang has been present among two public housing projects since 2018.
“This indictment is one part of our work to break the cycle of violence gripping East Harlem,

There has been no end of commentary dealing with Donald Trump’s turbulent presidency and the scandal of his electoral loss. There’s no doubt that from the day of the “grand escalator ride” (and even before) to the day of his departure from the White House, a social, media, and political upheaval was in progress, and would not cease even when he once again became a private citizen. Reasons pro and con for the debacle have proliferated since Hurricane Trump made landfall in America, but the issues are basically very simple and can be stated economically.
There were essentially three called strikes against him, all that was needed to count him out.

I don’t know whether the author of this column published today in the LA Times wrote the headline but it reads, “Larry Elder is the Black face of white supremacy. You’ve been warned.” In any case, the headline is based on a direct quote contained in the story. So let’s jump to that:
“He is a danger, a clear and present danger,” said Melina Abdullah, cofounder of Black Lives Matter Los Angeles…
Abdullah of Black Lives Matter: “Anytime you put a Black face on white supremacy, which is what Larry Elder is, there are people who will utilize that as an opportunity to deny white supremacy.

This week, Jews all around the world will read a portion of Deuteronomy that calls to remember an incident that occurred over 3,000 years ago. It involved a belligerent enemy whose name would have been erased from history were it not preserved in the Bible, the Jewish People's foundation text. I am referring to Deuteronomy 25:17-19.
Throughout our long history as a people, we Jews have looked at those three verses as a paradigm for our relationship with history: we don't forget our history — we embrace it. We Jews accept the concept of history so fully that we actually sacralize it — we make our history sacred.

Researchers have used brain cancer patients’ own cells in a form of 3D printing material to make a model of their tumor to test the efficacy of potential treatments before using them for real inside the body.
The scientists extract “a chunk” of the tumor from the brain of a patient with glioblastoma – an aggressive cancer with a very poor prognosis – and use it to print a model matching their MRI scans, said Professor Ronit Satchi-Fainaro, who led the research at Tel Aviv University.
The patient’s blood is then pumped through the printed tumor, made with a compound that mimics the brain,

As scenes of horror and terror continue to unfold in Kabul amid Presidentish Joe Biden’s haphazard and increasingly desperate evacuation efforts, many of us have said all week that it didn’t have to be like this. Here’s the proof. Raheem Kassam revealed on Wednesday that under President Donald Trump, Mike Pompeo’s State Department had ordered the creation of a “Contingency and Crisis Response” office whose job would be avoiding “a future Benghazi-style situation for Americans overseas.” But while Biden lied to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Wednesday that “We planned for every contingency,” behind the scenes,

Last month, Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity that he has made up his mind about running in 2024, but didn’t say what the decision was.
Earlier this month, Trump’s former chief of staff, Mark Meadows, revealed that Trump is “moving forward” with a 2024 presidential run in a “real way.”
On Wednesday, Trump gave yet another hint that he plans to run for president again in 2024, telling Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business, “You are going to be very happy” about the decision, but that her can’t officially announce it because of campaign finance laws.
“The campaign finance laws, which are antiquated and stupid,

When you think of places like Australia, you think they’re just like us – they speak English and love freedom. Well, they do speak English, that much is true, but do they really love freedom like we do? Considering Democrats have control of government, it makes me wonder if we really love freedom all that much.
Putting that aside, the way governments all across Australia are conducting themselves during this pandemic should make everyone realize that the similarities may well just end at language. More importantly to us, what is happening in Australia is what Democrats would love to do here, so it’s important to keep an eye on.
