PBS stands for Public Broadcasting System. We pay for it. Our tax dollars fund it through the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the Department of Education, and others, (Snip)
On July 4, which most Americans still regard as Independence Day—a day to celebrate, ever since the very first fireworks display to mark America’s birth in 1777—the Public Broadcasting System played to a small sliver of 13 percent of the country who are black. On a day when Americans come together to celebrate our country, PBS chose to divide.
How?
America’s taxpayer-funded Public Broadcasting System chose to air Vanessa Williams singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” a song some insist is the “black national

Fta ... If such openly and intentionally divisive actions as showcasing a race-based national anthem and bashing America every waking hour of every day continue, America’s divided house won’t stand.
The Republic of Texas on the other hand WILL.

13 %
But if they procreated LEGITIMATELY
Not IMMORALLY...the 73% out of wedlock Bastid birth rate would disappear and then their “people of color” population would more accurately be just a mere 5%...
Think about THAT!

PBS is on my 'never switch to this channel' list along with MSNBC, and most of the other leftist propaganda outlets pumping anti-American hate and racial division.

Malcontents can leave. There are flights out in every direction every hour of every day. Pick a destination, and never darken our doorstep again.

I would wager that the overwhelming majority of black people under the age of 50
has never experienced racism from white people. It has been taught.
The "feeling" of racism is from the fictitious movies and tv programs, lying news media
that embedded the thought. They've been brain washed to believe it happened to them.

'Public Broadcasting,' has been way out in left field for decades. Now, America suffers under the results of their leftist propaganda which they have distributed liberally throughout the land to the children and adults at taxpayers' expence. ...It isn't by coincidence that npr is based in the universities from sea to shining sea. Our elected officials have been asleep at the wheel or else, have betrayed their oaths.

Unless PBS was playing Gangsta Rap, it is very doubtful that any of those "13 percent" people ever heard PBS' broadcast

It’s not just a question of 13%. They are getting increasingly hostile to the 87% that work pay taxes, feed clothe and shelter them

Yes, #6, but part of it is that the definition of racism has been changed to include anything and everything. The true definition is denying a person rights based on the color of their skin. I’m old enough to remember separate water fountains and all the rest. That was real racism. Today, racism can be as innocuous as looking a black person in the eye or being born with white skin.

All multigenerational organizations are subject to mission creep. PBS was begun as a service to the public. That public has steadily shrunk; the public served by PBS is now the fingernail pairing of those in the country who are WOKE. So those who pay taxes must support the WOKE population, who create nothing. And PBS is woke, and fully CRT at the same time. And they have 100 genders.
And you dare not object, or you will be labeled racist.
We are down to a handful of companies which stick to their purpose. Hobby Lobby, Chick-Fil-A, My Pillow for a few.
But the big foundations are all woke and working for Soros.
Long live Marx.

13%?
They're saying zero percent of black people are patriots? At least half are patriots in my experience.

It’s a shame that “Lift Every Voice” has been politicized. When you read the words, you see that it’s actually a great hymn — one that BLM types shouldn’t like, since it celebrates the achievement of racial equality, and one that “progressives” shouldn’t like, because it focuses on thanking and praising God.

I e-mailed my local PBS and asked why they would do such a divisive thing when our country desperately needed unity. On July 6th, they phoned me and said they got my e-mail....no apology, no explanation, just an acknowledgement. I thanked him for his "courage" to phone me and surprised him by refraining from attacking him as was my first instinct. I think they fear a funding drought, which I hope will happen.

I used to respect Vanessa Williams. Talented, professional, mature and seemingly above the fray of racial grivance industry. No more. No more. She is now right in there with the race-mongering fleas.
