The Statue of Liberty is a 'meaningless symbol of hypocrisy' because of America's history of racism, sexism and anti-immigrant sentiment, according to the Washington Post's art and architecture critic.Philip Kennicott, a Pulitzer Prize winner, argued in an essay Saturday that the monument - which has stood for a century as one of the most iconic examples of American freedom - represented 'unfulfilled promises'.He added that the statue was irrelevant to non-white Americans, using as evidence the absence of representations of the statue when he visited a Chicano art exhibit at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington.

Those of Joe Biden’s public behaviors that align with classic dementia symptoms are escalating. In the past few days, he strongly exhibited two symptoms: A type of belligerence that’s a cover-up for confusion and memory loss and a paranoid fear of those in charge of him.
I used to spend a lot of time in the company of doctors. What always fascinated me were the tales they told of dealing with patients with early-stage dementia. The most interesting point they made was that elderly people, so as not to lose face or admit their own fears, are superb at deflecting the questions aimed at assessing their cognitive skills and memory.

House Financial Services Committee Chairwoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) criticized the Declaration of Independence in a tweet on July 4th, suggesting it is a racist document because it was written almost 250 years ago, when there was slavery in the United States. She tweeted Sunday: July 4th… & so, the Declaration of Independence says all men are created equal. Equal to what? What men? Only white men? Isn’t it something that they wrote this in 1776 when African Americans were enslaved? They weren’t thinking about us then, but we’re thinking about us now!

The country’s largest teachers union has moved to undermine the left-wing talking point that critical race theory is not taught to children -- by voting promote it and arguing it is "reasonable and appropriate" to use CRT in social studies classes.
The National Education Association has approved a plan to "publicize" critical race theory and dedicate a "team of staffers" to assist union members looking to "fight back against anti-CRT rhetoric."

The students, however, were unable to name better country than the United States. With Independence Day just around the corner, Campus Reform‘s Ophelie Jacobson went to Georgetown University to ask students if they feel proud to be an American.“No,” one student said. “I feel embarrassed to be an American every day. I think a lot of things about this country are really embarrassing, just, like, I mean, racist history, colonization, even currently, just what’s going on

Already we are seeing the negative impact it is having in San Francisco with stores permanently shutting down or closing early. It has become one of the most pressing issues in our city today. Target has now acknowledged that San Francisco is the only city in America where they have decided to close some stores early because of the escalating retail crime. For more than a month

Actress and singer Vanessa Williams will be singing the song “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” more commonly known as the Black National Anthem, as she hosts PBS’ 41st annual “A Capitol Fourth” celebration.
Williams said that she is singing the song as a way to promote “Juneteenth” on the Fourth of July.
“It’s in celebration of the wonderful opportunity that we now have to celebrate Juneteenth. So we are reflective of the times,” she told the Associated Press.
Juneteenth was made a federal holiday this year and already took place on June 19.

Missouri Congresswoman Cori Bush sparked controversy on Sunday with a tweet in which she said Independence Day was only a holiday for white people.
'When they say that the 4th of July is about American freedom, remember this: the freedom they’re referring to is for white people,' she wrote. 'This land is stolen land and Black people still aren’t free.' Bush, who was first elected to the House of Representatives in November, has been widely viewed as the newest member of the so-called 'Squad' of congresswomen known for being outspoken on their left-wing views, and she is no stranger to controversy.

Yup, that's CRT in a nutshell.
