A specter is haunting America, a great revolt that threatens to dwarf the noxious rebellion led by Trump. The echoes of a another potentially larger pushback can already be heard in progressive America. But it's not towards socialism, as many suggest. It's the opposite: a new middle-class rebellion against the excesses of the Left. This new middle-class rebellion isn't rejecting everything that progressives stand for; the Left's critique of neo-liberal excess is resonating, as is the need for improved access to health care.

No surprise to us Republicans. When the Democrat Party decides they're going to teach our Children that being White is Bad, loving country is Racist, that BLM should be allowed to burn down cities and nobody does anything about it, when Biden announces he is going to build section 8 Housing in the Suburbs (next to single family homes) when they shut off Pipelines and gas prices spike, when they announce only Electric Cars will soon be allowed on Roads....and on and on and on. Of course it will affect ALL of us, no matter which Party we belong to. Even the Democrats are waking up and saying, "we didn't know Biden was going to do this to US"! The Tide is rapidly turning and 2022 is going to be a Barn Burner! Nancy will be Retired and so will MANY others in the Congress and Senate (including a few Never Trumpers). Biden is the worse President in our Lifetime. Trump had this country running like a fine tuned car. Now we have messes everywhere and Biden is working on making more. He has no clue what he is doing! I say we should thank him. He is going to put the Republican Party back in Charge sooner than we thought due to his Executive Orders! We should thank him!

So what. So long as Democrats can manufacture votes on demand without penalty, the status quo maintains.

From the article: "A specter is haunting America, a great revolt that threatens to dwarf the noxious rebellion led by Trump." I read the article but had to paste that sentence from the first paragraph. I call bogus on that. The author needs to get real.

By the way, look up the definition of noxious. Maybe the author should brush off his own doorstep.

I think the sexualization of children must be added to this list. It has been reported a New York City teacher has shown 1st grade children how to stimulate their body. This is so evil! Let our children be children and innocent. Of course, too, the transgender movement of surgically or medically blocking a child’s natural development should be criminal.

8 percent of the population is Progressive, yet our idiots in charge are bending over backwards for them.
Definitely worth the read, despite the one anti-Trump sentence.

The media/Demo complex is framing their rhetoric to make it seem like this is a fight between the "middle class" old-fogies and enlightened "progressive" thinkers. It's not. It's a war between the middle class and the ELITES. He who defines the terms controls the argument. Don't let them get away with this!

The left is going to have to create more fraudulent votes. Force them to create so many fraudulent votes that it is impossible to deny stolen elections. Of course the left would move on to their next phase: Rulership at the point of a gun.

I sure hope so. But, unless we regain some modicum of legitimacy to the voting process, nothing else will make the slightest difference.

The Trump movement is just the political canary in the coal mine of a much larger populist movement against what I call "the culture of manufactured reality". This is larger than politics. It is about manufactured news, music, film, food, and science. What people want more than anything is a return to authentic reality that is not carefully crafted by intellectual elites to keep people "comfortably numb" and under control. No lie or gaslighting trick is too devious in the pursuit of this "1984" utiopia. Those of us who listen to "pirate" alternatives like Steve Bannon see what's going on and continue to resist "Big Brother" like the woman in the classic Apple commercial.
We are old enough to remember "alternative rock" radio hosted by savy DJs that brought authentic bands to public attention before the corporate oligarchs bought all the stations and programmed "fake music" that all sounds alike because its manufactured on computers by corporate employees. Its all part of the fourth turning of history that Bannon talks about. Stay tuned.

It is always "finger nails on the chalkboard" for me when I hear or read "progressives." They are nothing but socialists/communists and they wish to enslave those not in agreement with them. Observe how much the meaning of our language has been changed over the years. Communists were first liberals, then progressive, soon they will be something else. Take for instance "social distancing" there is nothing sociable about distancing. What about the "color" of states? Why are conservative states red and the regressive states blue? It should be the opposite.

Well, I like the headline, but I see Newsweek as the source of any article and immediately stop reading.

To number 13, Democrats objected to being labeled "red" due to the obvious connection to Communism. And of course the Republicans acquiesced. You're right, it should be the other way around.

They still don't get it. This so called noxious rebellion led by Trump is exactly what's fueling the backlash. As usual, the Marxists have overstepped.

Aside from his remarks about Trump you can tell that the writer is afraid.
He sees that the Biden regime is a fraud in its policies & that the 8% will not hold against the Real Majority.
He knows that in the 2022 elections a massive rebuke will be delivered that will cripple the Fraud's regime.
Basically he telling the Fraud to stop driving people to GOP.
We know the Fraud won't stop😜

The progressives can only hope (they don't pray) that it doesn't turn into a shooting war. Everything else we have attempted has been defeated by their crooked politics so that's all that's left. We can't just let them win because they are willing to go down deeper into the sewer.
