“Get a shot, win the lottery!” That’s what state leaders across the country are proclaiming. If you live in Kentucky, get your COVID shot at a Walmart or Kroger store and you’ll receive a free lottery ticket for a statewide nightly drawing of $225,000.
New York State is offering free lottery tickets to those who agree to get the shot. The top prize is $5 million.
Not to be outdone, Ohio governor Mike DeWine announced the launch of a $1 million lottery for residents of the state who get the shot. There will be five “Ohio Vax-a-Million” drawings in the state.

The point is that if your brother in law is age 70 or more the results of the disease are deadly as opposed to take a chance on the vaccine. If he's 50 then maybe don't take the vaccine and if you want 100% effectiveness dream on. This is what was once known as common sense.

At best, medically unethical. At worst, reckless endangerment.

I'm well over 70, in pretty good health and will not take the injection (not a vaccine). The results of the disease when treated properly and early are unlikely to be fatal any more than the run of the mill flu. Take a look at the average death rates in the U.S. over time - there is a smooth curve from at least 2000 that is tied to pop increase, no spike in deaths in 2019-2020 (unless the stats have been played with since I last looked.
The published deaths due to covid, as anyone who reads knows, are total bs. I could go on about the nursing home deaths, risks of all of the injections, ad nauseum, but I would be wasting my time preaching to most of the choir here. When it's my time, it's my time whether due to the fauci/ chinese flu or falling off a ladder.

Perfectly valid question, OP. No, #1, common sense is understanding that you have an immune system that is far superior than any man-made vaccination, and not offering yourself up as a guinea pig in the government’s and medical community’s latest scam. The survival rate for those 80 yrs old and above is 94-96%, not exactly what one would call “deadly.”

#1, I'm just entering the age you mention, and my wife and I consider their shot a greater risk than our chances of 1) getting this Wuhan virus and 2) not being able to deal with it.
Each person needs to make their own choice, but anyone under 40 has an extremely tiny risk from the virus, if they are healthy without pre-existing serious health problems. Given that the spike proteins by themselves have caused extreme harm when tested in lab animals, and that these 'vaccines' instruct your cells to manufacture huge quantities of the spike proteins inside your body, It seems pretty obvious that for those under 40 or 50, the long term risk of the vaccine, which is ENTIRELY unknown, is likely to be much higher than the risk from Wuhan virus.

The stupidity of anti-vaxxers never ceases to amaze me.
In response to a communist government infecting the world with a dangerous, deadly virus the free democracies of the West achieved the equivalent of the moon landing or splitting the atom.
In record time they now have four safe and effective vaccines that are beating this communist-spawned plague, and the anti-vaxxers still whine. The writer of this article is a typical anti-vaxxer using the same stupid tricks of showing out-of-context VAERS data. The minute you see them use VAERS data, which they do with every vaccine, you know that you are dealing with an idiot [that means you, ''Jack Gleason'']

RE #7:
I'm not an anti-vaxxer, but a cautious vaxxer. I've had both the flu and pneumonia shots this year and will be getting the shingles shot very soon. My mother dutifully had her chicks vaccinated for MMR when we were kids.
Problem is that this isn't a vaccine. It fiddles with your genes and hasn't been thoroughly tested. If they come up with a genuine vaccine that is tested and FDA-approved, I'll hop in line and stick out my arm. Until then, how about if we stop with the name calling and vitriole?

Agree with #8 - I've been vaccinated all my life - polio (Salk and Sabin), flu, tetanus, pertussis. Didn't need MMR as I had all three before the vaccine was developed. Passed on first shingles as I had several friends who got shingles after being vaccinated. Proceeding with caution on second shingles and COVID. I've had several friends who've had severe enough reactions after COVID vaccine to end up in the ER. I'm not saying I'll never get a COVID shot, but don't see an urgent need at this time, especially as the number of cases is declining.

Every year about 180 million people get the Flu vaccine in the US. Resulting in between 20 to 30 fatalities. This year 150 million COVID vaccine shots have caused 3500 deaths. I might not know epidemiology but I was taught arithmetic in second grade!

Just ask yourself this - why is it that only 40% of people who work for the NIH, the CDC and health care workers in general have gotten the jabs?

Offering a lottery ticket to people who receive the 'vaccine' brings up the 'percentage chance of winning'.
From what I can see, one has a greater chance of 'winning' and DYING from the 'vaccine', than 'winning' and receiving the Grand Prize of the Lottery.
