Several fights broke out among guests Saturday inside Kings Island and in the parking lot, forcing the amusement park to close about 30 minutes early, reports say.
Police officers and troopers with the State Highway Patrol responded to the park because of “unruly guests, primarily juveniles,” WCPO Channel 9 reports. The patrol tells the Cincinnati Enquirer that several fights occurred during the afternoon, with a large fight occurring just before 10 p.m.
It’s unclear how many people were involved in the fights. No arrests were made.
Ryan Smith, who was at the park with his family, tells the Enquirer that it was “insanely crowded.”

A Florida distillery says its requests to promote a "Back the Blue" event through paid advertising on Facebook has been repeatedly denied by the social media platform. Loaded Cannon Distillery, located in Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, Florida, is preparing to launch a new line of spirits dedicated to different groups of first responders.
"We're launching this Lost Legend series because they are legends, all of them," Loaded Cannon Distillery marketing and creative director Michelle Russell told FOX & Friends Weekend in an interview on Sunday. "First responders, EMTs, police, firefighters, anybody that wears a badge, and they deserve some recognition."

Actions have consequences. Pro-crime policies work. [SNIP] Progressives in California in recent years have strengthened property rights—to other people’s property. Shoplifting has essentially been decriminalized, and retailers that apprehend thieves can be sued. The result: Another Walgreens store in San Francisco, the seventh this year, is closing after its shelves were cleared by looters. “All of us knew it was coming,” longtime customer Sebastian Luke told the San Francisco Chronicle. “Whenever we go in there, they always have problems with shoplifters.”
Mr. Luke has been posting photos of the shoplifting sprees. “I feel sorry for the clerks, they are regularly being verbally assaulted,” he said.

Palestinians have rallied by the thousands after a cease-fire took effect in the latest Gaza war.
The 11-day conflict left more than 200 dead — the vast majority Palestinians — and brought widespread devastation to the already impoverished Gaza Strip.
The rocket barrages fired by Gaza's militant Hamas rulers that brought life to a standstill in much of Israel were seen by many Palestinians as a bold response to perceived Israeli abuses in Jerusalem.
In turn, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday warned Hamas about coordinating further attacks. He said Israel would not tolerate any further rocket attacks from Hamas and would meet such aggression with a "new level of force."

Science confirms what we all knew — women are turned on by charm and cash while men go on looks.
In a discovery which surprises no one, a study found fellas value sexy bodies and attractive faces much more than women do.
And it is great news for Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates, 65 — who recently split with his wife — as women like high income, intelligence and emotional connection.

The Hamas Caucus of the Democrats has been in a sharp race to the bottom with bad takes outstripping bad takes.
No one, including AOC, may ever be able to top this tweet from Kansas State Rep Aaron Coleman, (Rose Twitter) "In my humble progressive Jewish opinion: Israel has forfeited the right to Independence. Walking into mosques and killing unarmed people is another war crime committed by this apartheid genocidal nation. The solution: full embargo of Israel until they join U.S as 51st state."
Rep. Mark Pocan, (House Democrat - unfortunately) whose shtick has been hating Israel long before the Squad ever got here has been trying.

Chicago's Mayor Lightfoot announced that she was taking a brief break from running the city into ground to limit interviews to "black and brown reporters".
The media has rightfully condemned the move, but I have to ask, "Why?"
Lightfoot's move is a cynical culture war distraction. Obviously. But she's doing something racist that has become routine in American life.
1. College admissions, employment, and government contracts have long been conditioned on race and skin color.
2. There's been a growing push to oust white authors in literature in favor of minority authors.

I find the biggest shift of thought in my 80 years of life is censorship. I want to share with you my personal experiences. [SNIP] Then the media tornado hit. Media Matters, a George Soros funded leftist group, had a meeting in Florida. The SPLC was the centerpiece presenter said that people such as me should be driven out of business. My #1 best seller on Amazon disappeared, YouTube deleted my 8 million view “Why We Are Afraid” video. My videos were demonetized. Master Card said I could not use their logo. PayPal canceled my account. Face Book shadow banned me. Twitter shadow banned me.

When the horse is dead, you should probably stop beating it.
Jan 6 has been dead for a while. It paid off for a few months, but as we head toward June, House Democrats and their media still keep talking about some sort of bipartisan commission to investigate the Capitol Riot.
If the Democrats want an investigation so badly, then they can include the May 31 protest.
Or is an attack on the White House by Black Lives Matter somehow not serious enough to merit an investigation?

Facial recognition, fake identities and digital surveillance tools: Inside the post office's covert internet operations program

The post office’s law enforcement arm has faced intense congressional scrutiny in recent weeks over its Internet Covert Operations Program (iCOP), which tracks social media posts of Americans and shares that information with other law enforcement agencies. Yet the program is much broader in scope than previously known and includes analysts who assume fake identities online, use sophisticated intelligence tools and employ facial recognition software, according to interviews and documents reviewed by Yahoo News.

Members of the Grammy-winning rap group The Roots are teaming up with Disney Junior for several animated short films aimed at teaching kids aged 2 to 7 about race, racism, and social justice issues.
The project, entitled Rise Up, Sing Out, is set to be executive produced by The Roots members Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter.
“We hope these shorts will encourage the young audience to recognize and celebrate our differences as human beings while learning the tools to navigate real-world issues of racial injustice."

For many Americans, the violent clash between Israel and Hamas sparks an understandable sense of having seen it all before. While it’s true there is a long, bloody history between the combatants, the current fighting is unique in ways that make the endgame especially crucial for the Jewish state and the entire region.
The most obvious change is that Hamas increased its rocket capacity, both in numbers and range. In previous battles, the relative handful of explosives launched from Gaza were a threat only to Israelis near the border.
This time, more than 2,000 rockets and mortars have been fired.
