South Bend, IN – A South Bend police officer conducting a routine walk-through at a local elementary school was told by a school administrator to leave campus because his presence could make people uncomfortable. The incident occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. on April 21, bodycam footage showed.
South Bend Police Officer James Sweeney was conducting a routine unannounced walk-through at Coquillard Elementary School when he was confronted by South Bend Empowerment Zone CEO Cheryl Camacho, WSBT reported.

Oh how cute, an “empowerment zone” person. Is this the job you get with a social work degree?

What if the presence of the principal and the administrators make people feel uncomfortable?
What if teachers and teaching- a hierarchical assertion that you don’t know what the hierarchy believes you should know- makes people uncomfortable?
What if people are uncomfortable that other people have beliefs that the people don’t approve of?
What if people are uncomfortable that other people have a greater social status?
Where does this ego trip into insanity end?

“... South Bend Empowerment Zone CEO Cheryl Camacho.” That is some kind of title. Like the Grand Poobah of Nothing Much.

FTA: "it is critical that every adult who interacts with a child in our buildings is aligned to our vision, mission, and core beliefs,”
Can't let the kiddies have an experience that conflicts with the "demonization of the the cops" portion of their indoctrination.

Fta:
Camacho later released a statement saying the South Bend Empowerment Zone “is responsible for ensuring that ALL of our children feel safe and supported at school,” WSBT reported.
“Given the demographics of the students we serve, it is critical that every adult who interacts with a child in our buildings is aligned to our vision, mission, and core beliefs,” she added.
So in other words they don't want any interference in the anti-police, anti-American, anti-freedom MARXIST CRT indoctrination they are doing there. Schools are just assembly lines for producing mindless haters.

Is Parkland Resource Officer still unemployed? He is this overeducated fascist's perfect candidate. Not only will he not go in he will run the other way at the first sign of trouble. Then the administration, political elites and media can blame it on the gun.

Posters 5 and 7 are exactly correct. How many times have we seen videos of cops interacting with children? Playing soccer, basketball, dancing out on the playground to hip-hop music and so on? The kids enjoy these interactions and are learning that cops are not the bad guys and that goes against the indoctrination these marxists are telling our children.

That in the heck is "South Bend Empowerment Zone"? Is this any sort of a school board group? A government group? Who in the heck are they to be telling anyone, anything?
OK, Indiana, or at least South Bend school system seems very weird to me. I did a bit of research.
Instead of a School Board....they have South Bend Community School Corporation. I wonder how people are selected to run this "corporation", and what happened to an elected school board? And according the the site for the South Bend Empowerment Zone, they "entered into an agreement with the South Bend Community School Corporation....to basically run five elementary schools. So this adds another layer of bureaucracy, further diffusing any authority. Layers and layers of unelected (?) bureaucrats running these schools is what it looks like to me, from far away.

Apparently, the administrator does not understand that mere presence of police deters crime. A socialist democrat at work. The administrator does not have any information on the police making people 'uncomfortable' and is enforcing his own opinion.

What, no special protection will remain for the illegal students? This can't be true. The new takeover citizens should be protected at all costs. What are they thinking?

Am I the only one who is noticing how many of these schools are run by women? In many cases, that seems to be creating alot of the problems.

Kipling had words (in a different context) for those who kicked the cop off campus,
“... O it's Tommy this, and Tommy that, and Tommy 'ow's your soul/But it's thin red line of heroes when the drums begin to roll...”

Cops in elementary schools...another waste of a valuable resource. Virtually every shooting in such schools occurred thanks to a breakdown in security by school personnel. Let's close the schools if they're that dangerous. Just more scardycat public behaviors.

So is this "Administrator" claiming that their school wishes to teach the children from a young age that the police are bad? If police are not free to come to the school, must be invited in, be escorted, and are seen as a threat, that is a poor reflection on the administration. The schools should help to encourage good citizenship and promote good relationships with law enforcement. Positive exposure to the police would go a long way to helping solve some of the issues occurring in minority communities with the police. Unfortunately, the South Bend Empowerment Zone CEO seems only interested in throwing around her own power and perpetuating the myths and fear surrounding the police rather than educate them about the good the police do. That they want indoctrination, not education, was made very clear by the CEO's statements.

Considering her woke status, I wonder if SHE is the threat to the children? After all, the LGBTQ classes, they give without parent consent or notification, could be construed as child abuse or pedophilia.

I would like to know what activity is going on at the school that the, no doubt first generation, Chicano doesn't want to police to see. When are enough Americans, those of us descended from people who fought, bled and died for this soil, going to become indignant about being played for fools as we're being robbed of our birthrights? This woman has no right, no standing, to declare anything out of the purview of law enforcement but she is successful primarily because of the passivity of American men. Sorry guys, but resistance has to start with you. I don't know why that is but it is part of the human condition and this idiocy will keep happening until some heroes rise up and Donald Trump must be getting awfully lonely.
