Rep. Cori Bush was slammed on social media Thursday over a tweet that referred to black mothers as “black birthing people.”
“Every day, Black birthing people and our babies die because our doctors don’t believe our pain,” the Missouri Democrat tweeted Thursday. “My children almost became a statistic. I almost became a statistic. I testified about my experience @OversightDems today. Hear us. Believe us. Because for so long, nobody has.” Critics on Twitter, especially opponents of abortion, were quick to accuse Bush of diminishing the role of motherhood. “The words 'birthing people' are so absolutely insulting it is almost unimaginable,” Daily Wire editor Emily Zanotti tweeted. “Eff off with that nonsense.”

In the California governor’s race, candidate Caitlyn (née Bruce) Jenner has landed the first blow, and it’s a telling one.
This week, the former Kardashian paterfamilias’ campaign released a three-minute ad that might as well have been titled “Make California Great Again.” It’s a killer ad because every Californian knows that under one-party Democratic rule, the Golden State isn’t so golden anymore.
Jenner’s ad juxtaposes the California of an earlier era, intercut with footage of Bruce at the Olympics, and sharply contrasts those evocations of sun, fun and vitality with images from today, featuring homeless encampments, discarded hypodermic needles and shuttered businesses.

Punchbowl News released a new tracking poll Thursday showing a majority of senior Democrat Capitol Hill aides believe House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) partisan socialist agenda will not pass Congress.
Pelosi’s push to pass a partisan socialist agenda while Washington, DC, is under one-party rule looks like it will fail as the “gatekeepers and, in many cases, the decision-makers” believe there will not be enough votes to get her wishlist through, according to the poll.
Only 36 percent of the Democrat staffers surveyed believe there is hope to pass H.R. 3, which is the Democrats’ “big bill to lower drug costs.”

MSNBC correspondent Sam Brock admitted on Thursday's Hallie Jackson Reports that critics of Florida's new election law do not know how it will suppress the vote, but are certain it will.
After criticizing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for excluding non-Fox media in the signing ceremony, Brock added "I spoke with a voting law expert who said it's like 1,000 paper cuts. It's not clear what any one of the components of S.B. 90 will actually do in terms of suppressing the vote. When you add them all up together, it could make for a lot of bleeding when it comes to voter access, Hallie."

If you are someone who has paid attention to politics over the last decade, you understand the disparate treatment different administrations get when it comes to scandalous activity. In regards to Barack Obama, he literally had his appointees out lying about a terrorist attack that killed four Americans, and the media still claim to this day that his biggest scandal was wearing a tan suit.
When it came to Donald Trump, him receiving two scoops of ice cream became a bigger story than Obama’s targeting of conservatives via the IRS. At one point, Ivanka Trump said something nice about Goya Foods,

When Gov. Gretchen Whitmer was outed last month for a secretive trip to Florida in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, her office claimed Michigan taxpayers did not foot the bill.
What they did not tell us, however, is that Whitmer asked a group of wealthy Detroit businessmen to provide a private plane they share.
Those businessmen have major dealings in and with the state of Michigan.
“We wondered why she reached out to us instead of booking a private charter,” said one of the plane's owners, who exchanged his candor for confidentiality. “You can't tell a governor no. Who needs that kind of trouble?”

Could you imagine what late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel would do without possibly one of his most popular segments? Twitter on Wednesday released an improved version of its "prompts" feature discouraging users from sending "potentially harmful or offensive” replies, encouraging them to think twice before sending any mean tweets. Mean tweets like those seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady read on Kimmel's show in January. "Want to review this before Tweeting?" the prompt asks Twitter users

Earlier this week, PJ Media was the first to report that 12 Texas counties have declared emergencies due to the chaos the Biden border policies are causing. Since then, we have learned that four more counties have declared emergencies, bringing the total to 17. The additional counties that have or are set to declare emergencies are Davis, Medina, Terrell, Val Verde, and Live Oak. The land area these counties cover includes regions well away from the border and is larger than many whole states.
The Border Patrol continues doing what it can, with no policy help from Washington, to stem the tide of human trafficking that has exploded across the border.

In the 8 am hour of Thursday's Fox & Friends, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) signed a new election law on live television, an exclusive that other media couldn't attend. Naturally, the liberal media were outraged.
On his MSNBC show this morning, Craig Melvin complained You'll notice this video that we are using is from Fox News. That's because it was the only media outlet that was allowed in the room when it was signed. All other media outlets were shut out." The journalists might be surprised that may people think this event would not be enhanced in importance by someone from 60 Minutes yelling at DeSantis. They surely hated

It is no shocker that in South Florida, a distinctly Indigo-hued segment of a red state, the local press leans left. As an example, after winning a Pulitzer Prize for exposing the graft and incompetence in the Broward Sheriff’s office following the Parkland shooting, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel backed the embattled Scott Israel in his bid to retain his office, because the last thing they would do is support a Republican candidate running for the position. Well, that same paper just turned hysterical regarding Governor Ron DeSantis.
In a piece titled “The Strongman In The Suit Is FL Gov. Ron DeSantis,” with the byline of the Editorial Board, the paper delivers

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — SpaceX launched and successfully landed its futuristic Starship on Wednesday, finally nailing a test flight of the rocketship that Elon Musk intends to use to land astronauts on the moon and send people to Mars.
The previous four test flights ended in fiery explosions before, during or soon after touchdown at the southeastern tip of Texas, near Brownsville.
This latest upgraded version of SpaceX’s full-scale, stainless steel, bullet-shaped rocketship soared more than 6 miles over the Gulf of Mexico before flipping and descending horizontally, and then going vertical again just in time for touchdown.

Montana Gov. Gianforte made the comments on "Cavuto: Coast to Coast" while explaining what was behind his decision to end Montana's participation in federal COVID-19 unemployment programs. He also discussed the start of the new
