Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., lit into liberal "The View" co-host Joy Behar for claiming Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., doesn't "understand" systemic racism, asking "America Reports" "why the hell are we even listening" to her in the first place.
REP. BYRON DONALDS: One, there's not systemic racism in the United States. Two, the United States is not a racist country, and three, why the hell are we even listening to Joy Behar? Who is she? I don't need her to tell me about what's racist and what's not. She already had her own issues wearing blackface, I know "The View" has given her a pass but I'm not ...

ABC-7 News in Washington reports the Biden administration has found yet another use for the COVID pandemic.
In South Dakota, Biden’s unity-branded administration is using the pandemic to cancel 4th of July fireworks at Mt. Rushmore. The fact that the pandemic was worse last year, Mt. Rushmore fireworks went forward, and there wasn’t a single case of COVID linked to that event is immaterial.
In the nation’s constitutional capital, which Biden wants to turn into its own state on a par with Texas despite the fact it has fewer people than Austin, Biden’s woke Pentagon has denied AMVETS a parking permit for their Memorial Day ride through the city

Rep. Liz Cheney recently survived a vote on removing her from leadership in the House Republican caucus. She thanked her colleagues by promptly going out and contradicting House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy publicly and making the Sunday show rounds to obsess over Donald Trump and January 6th. It was one giant middle finger to those who stood beside her, hoping she would now focus on helping the Republican party instead of fighting pointless, long past battles.
Because of that, the heat is back on, and fresh talk of kicking her to the curb has started up again. This time, though, the names being mentioned actually matter,

Sheriffs who serve counties at the U.S.-Mexico border and within the United States had sharp criticisms for President Joe Biden's lack of any real mention of the ongoing border crisis during his address to the joint session of Congress on Wednesday.
Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb told Fox News host Harris Faulkner that the crisis Biden's administration caused has taken a huge toll on local community members who live by the border.
"I’m 70 miles out from the border. They can’t even leave their kids to watch the younger kids because people coming into their carport, trying to open their doors. This is a dangerous situation...

With the recent revelations that John Kerry has for years been in bed with the terrorist regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran, its long past time for there to be an independent and complete investigation into Obama’s former Secretary of State - and now the current Climate Czar of the new Biden (Obama) Administration, and his activities during the Trump Administration.
John Kerry’s loathing of the United States dates way back to the Vietnam era when he was chasing the skirts of another well-known traitor Jane Fonda,

Last week, I asked why there was no uproar from LGBTQ activists when Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner was “misgendered” and mocked by the left after announcing that he would run for governor of California. (In reality, some of the mocking came from LGBTQ activists, who painted Jenner as a fame-hungry reality TV star.) And where was the uproar when Bill Maher questioned the “born that way” dogma, stating, “Wasn't always sure about the man-woman thing, but low capital gains taxes — born that way.”
To be sure, there were some scattered voices of protest,

This week, President Biden proposed taxing capital gains at death at a tax rate of 39.6 percent plus the 3.8 percent investment tax. He proposed a $1 million exemption. For an individual with less than $11.8 million in net worth, this would create a new death tax from whole cloth.
President Biden’s new death tax would result in estates that currently are not remotely close to having sufficient net worth to pay a death tax paying a death tax. It can be named a ‘capital gains tax at death’; it is a new death tax.
For a long-term real estate investor, President Biden’s plan could confiscate an entire estate.

Ben Franklin famously said, "You've got a republic, if you can keep it." That warning is particularly haunting now, because we seem on the verge of losing it — not from foreign invasion, not from revolution, but because we stopped caring about it.
America was founded on the principles of individual liberty and equal treatment under the law. These are the foundational principles required for equality and prosperity. Yet we've been creeping away from those principles for many years. In the last 12 years, that creep has become a sprint. The world's beacon of freedom is dying,

I treated the NPR story on some companies' decision to loosen hiring requirements for certain jobs by not requiring a college degree as background noise, until at the very end I was startled by its dismissive description of a college diploma as just "a piece of paper that someone paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for."
Really? Is that all that it is? Is that what years of study boil down to?
I am perfectly willing to admit that plenty of jobs need no degree, native intelligence coupled with basic training being sufficient. I will also admit that education is wasted on some people —

Over the last few weeks, we've heard from a lot of border mayors and congressmen about the mess in their neighborhood. My guess is that a lot of them would have preferred for VP Harris to come to Laredo, Texas than having a virtual talk with the President of Guatemala.
Anyway, it's not surprising that blues are starting to complain about the Biden policy, especially facing reelection in 2022 like Senator Mark Kelly in Arizona.
President Biden said nothing of consequence about the border the other night and the "blues" are not happy. This is from Bryan Preston:
It is a border crisis.

The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) is removing the term "master" bedroom from all of its databases and listing services and replacing it with the politically correct phrase "primary" bedroom. According to a TRREB news release, the change was suggested by the organization's Diversity and Inclusion Task Force (DITV) to better align it with Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) practices.
The release promised that the change "will also address the negative connotations surrounding 'master' bedroom, which many Members, others in the industry, and the public at large associate with terminology rooted in slavery and/or sexism.

You can’t win, but that’s all part of the plan.
Reason, rules, processes – these are the foundations of a free society, which is why the cultural left is so dead set against them. A citizen needs to be able to rely on clear rules and fixed processes to vindicate his rights in order to have any rights. But the rights of free citizens – your rights – are an obstacle to the Lil’ Stalins who yearn to rule over us. If the liberal establishment can create a society where you can’t appeal to facts, evidence, or law, then – until the peasants' revolt –
