The Supreme Court rejected the federal government’s effort to move forward with the deportation of a failed refugee claimant who argued he shouldn’t be removed from the United States because official paperwork was incomplete.
The Trump administration, in office when the case was argued Nov. 9, 2020, favored deportation in this instance. (Snip)Justice Neil Gorsuch delivered the court’s opinion, in which conservative Justices Clarence Thomas and Amy Coney Barrett, joined, along with liberal Justices Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan. Conservative Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote a dissenting opinion that was joined by Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito.

Although he made up his mind before jury did, President Joe Biden quickly went public once he learned that the Minneapolis jury had, in fact, convicted former police officer Derek Chauvin on all charges.
“It was a murder in the full light of day, and it ripped the blinders off for the whole world to see the systemic racism the vice president just referred to — the systemic racism that is a stain on our nation’s soul.” So said the only president to have given a eulogy at the funeral of an Exalted Klan Cyclops, and that just 10 years before Floyd’s death.

I hate to write this, but there is just no good way to look at this. The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, specifically Presiding Judge James Boasberg, has hired former DOJ National Security Division head, Mary McCord, as amici curiae advisor to the court. [LINK] (Snip)
Presiding Judge James Boasberg, is the decision-maker in the appointment of Amici Curiae to the FISA court. There is no way, NO WAY, Judge Boasberg does not know Mary McCord was at the epicenter of the fraudulent FISA application used against Carter Page. Remember, in addition to being the FISC Presiding Judge, Boasberg was also the trial judge in the case against Kevin Clinesmith, the FBI

During an appearance on Canadian radio show Monday, a Barnard College English instructor discussed with a Jewish host a passage from his new book about how he would gas white people in a locked room “when the race war hits its crescendo.”
(Snip) When this race war hits its crescendo, I’ll gather you all into a beautifully decorated room under the pretense of unity. I’ll give a speech to civility and all the good times we share; I’ll smile as we raise glasses to your good, white health, while the detonator blinks under the table, knowing the exits are locked and the air vents filled with gas.

The Biden administration and a Pennsylvania school district urged a skeptical Supreme Court this morning to let school districts suppress free speech by students on social media if they deem it potentially disruptive to school operations.
The case, Mahanoy Area School District v. B.L., court file 20-255, was heard April 28.
(Snip) B.L., or Brandi Levy, was a minor at the time the lawsuit was initiated and legal files reduced her name to initials to protect her identity.
In 2017, when Levy was 14 and a freshman, she made the Mahanoy Area High School junior varsity cheerleading team, but as a sophomore she failed to advance to the varsity squad, remaining junior varsity,

CNN’s sour grapes are fermenting into a pathetic, albeit amusing, daily display. Watching the channel smugly attempt to punch up at Fox News almost evokes the same empathy you feel when watching a toddler try to grab cookies off a too-tall counter. They just don’t have what it takes,(Snip)
Enter Brianna Keilar, the newly minted “anchor” of “New Day,” the network’s morning program. One of her first monologues on the program sought to analyze Fox News’s chyrons for allegedly revealing that “Fox is not news, no matter what it calls itself.” The irony is entirely lost on Keilar, who is simply not an “anchor,” no matter what she calls herself.

Swing voters in New Jersey and Virginia are fed up with Democrats pushing cancel culture, a new poll from the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) suggests.
The survey of 656 “high propensity persuadable voters” located in two districts in New Jersey and Virginia found that after RSLC digital advertisements targeted Democrats for promoting cancel culture, citizens were more likely to vote for Republican candidates.
“The key message of the ad was simple: the cancel culture tactics that drove Major League Baseball to move its annual All-Star Game out of Atlanta will cost Georgia $100 million, hurt the very communities Democrats claim to be fighting for, and could eventually be waged against New

The FBI continued abusing the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act program, including searching for information on people who had gone to the bureau to report they were victims of a crime, a newly declassified document shows.
One FBI information specialist between April 11, 2019, and July 8, 2019, conducted approximately 124 queries of information obtained through secretive methods under the act, or FISA, which permits warrantless surveillance of foreigners outside of the United States.
(Snip)
The searches included looking at information for people who had requested to participate in a bureau-run citizens academy, a program for local leaders designed to foster greater understanding of the role of law enforcement, and people who needed

The jury in the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was at peace with the guilty verdict they rendered, the first juror to reveal his identity said this week.
“After we deliberated and we had to do some explaining to a few people, breaking it down a little bit further, everybody was on the same page,” Brandon Mitchell, a 31-year-old high school basketball coach, said (Snip)“It wasn’t like we just walked right in the room and everybody was like ‘let’s get it done.’ There’s always one person that’s like ‘what about this, what about that.’ So we sat in the room and argued for a few hours pretty

From France to Venezuela to the United States, the Chinese communist regime’s diplomats have been busy this past year blustering, threatening, and denigrating their host countries as part of an all-out effort to advance Beijing’s agenda on the world stage.
This aggressive style, dubbed “wolf warrior” diplomacy, was on full display in March during the first face-to-face meeting between Biden administration officials and Chinese Communist Party (CCP) diplomats in Alaska. In a widely publicized blow-up, Chinese diplomats responded to U.S. criticism of the CCP’s aggressions domestically and abroad by launching into an extended tirade accusing the United States of similar infractions.

One of the most fateful decisions of Donald Trump’s presidency happened just weeks after Inauguration Day.
In March 2017, Republican lawmakers joined Democrats to demand Jeff Sessions, a former Senate colleague and Trump’s new attorney general, recuse himself from anything related to the investigation into alleged Russian election collusion. (Snip)Republicans, perhaps intentionally, blew a once-in-a-generation opportunity to fumigate a wholly corrupt law enforcement agency amid emerging evidence it had used powerful government tools against the duly elected incoming president of the United States.(Snip)And they’re doing it again—but this time, it’s worse.

Since Joe Biden put her in charge of the border, Kamala Harris has been ducking reporters’ questions. If she ever gets around to it, here are some possible queries for the California Democrat:
(Snip) in your view, what is the purpose of the U.S. border?
Are you aware of any countries that maintain a border policy like the one the Harris-Biden Administration is implementing?
In 2014, then-Vice President Joe Biden said the foreign nationals coming to the United States in caravans were “already Americans.” As the current vice president of the United States, is that also your view?
When Central American parents send minor children to the border in the company of smugglers,
