Columbia, S.C.—In his first public address since the end of the Trump administration, former Vice President Mike Pence on Thursday put down a marker for a potential return to elected office, telling an audience in early-voting South Carolina that he will use the coming months “pushing back on the liberal agenda" he says is wrong for the country. “We've got to guard our values… by offering a positive agenda to the American people, grounded in our highest ideals,” Pence told an audience of several hundred at a Columbia dinner sponsored by a conservative Christian nonprofit that lobbies for what it considers to be

I believe Trump is just too big a target to weather another attempt at political office - however, I do think he can still be a powerhouse to reckon with as a backer and supporter of many who can and should. Pence is just another slice of pasty white bread old guard Republican fuddy-duddys. Out with them.

For 3 years and 11 months, Mike Pence was a great VP. He never did anything, but he was good with the photo ops.
But then, when it finally came down to it, instead of standing up for the law, the Constitution, and his boss, he folded like a wet DC swamp creature. And then he stabbed President Trump in the back with his words when it was all said and done. If he wanted to be president, he should have stood with President Trump and fought the illegal election theft that handed the presidency to not-my-president Lyin' Joe biden!!!
No, slither back under your rock with the rest of the swamp creatures. All of us who supported President Trump have no use for disloyal, slimy, back-stabbing, swamp creatures like you!!!!!

I've been wondering, who is it that advised President Trump to nominate the likes of Barrett and Kavanaugh? If I had to guess Pence had a hand in it. The man is not to be trusted and as has been said before, he stabbed President Trump in the back so he is dead to me. If he is our nominee, I'll stay home.

If Trump wants the nomination, it’s his. No one has his power, his drive, his courage. Plus, we know he can get the job done. If Pence had a lick of sense, he would be able to see that. He is blinded by ambition that comes from establishment traitors, and you know who they are. Trump put Pence in a position to be a possible candidate for President, a feat he could have never accomplished on his own. Had he been loyal and shown courage, he might well be in a good place to run, but he chose to betray not only the President, but his supporters and the country. We do not need men and women like Pence. He made that perfectly clear.
Wait until the President (that was intentional) starts have having rallies again. The crowds will be enormous. The media and democrat will go nuts. Just imagine what will happen if the audits produce pay dirt. My goodness the people of this country will be overjoyed. While the democrats believe they have it all under control, give the people a chance to get behind President Trump again and the excitement will explode. However, with this comes a warning. Democrats, the media and the foreigners who interfered in the election will be livid and we know they are capable of.all kinds of evil. Gird your loins, say your prayers especially for President Trump and this country. I don’t believe we have seen the depth of evil that these enemies, both foreign and domestic, are prepared to visit upon this country and its people. Frankly, I would rather have hope with President Trump regardless of what these venal people may do, than be resigned to live the life they have planned for us. If we have learned anything since January 2021 it is that freedom is precious but fragile and the enemy is determined, but we must fight right now for all the generations to come for their chance to live the American dream free of the yoke of an oppressive and abusive government. Could an audit be the turning point? I pray it is.

FTA: "We have the winning agenda,” Pence told Thursday's crowd. “And now it's incumbent upon us to take that winning agenda to the American people.” This would be laughable if the irony of this statement wasn't so tragic! I truly like Mike Pence, but he's lost touch with the reality of what was lost. That "winning agenda" did win, but was thrown away by all that wouldn't stand up against the fraud that robbed us all!

Mike Pence has no chance of winning running for president against Donald J. Trump. If Trump decides not to run, Mike Pence has no chance against Governor DeSantis or Mike Pompeo should either of those strong, America loving, loyal conservatives decide to run.
Give it up Mike and start a consulting firm with Niki Haley. That's all you two are good for.

Since you chose to reward the dims, msm, deep state, Soros, W, the SCOTUS, the chicoms, and the globalists and overlook the Great Election Fraud of 2020, your true anti-Trump/anti-America colors were in plain sight. I really like Mike Pence as a person so I'm not going to be rude, but no, he doesn't seem like a fighter. He seems like someone who would cave to the leftists in congress and the media. I'd like to see Trump as president again as long as he's physically and mentally capable, but he'll be 78 if elected. I have a feeling that he'll be better at 78 than Biden is.

In re #56, DeSantis seems closest to having the Trumpian schtick, but, must step it up quite a bit more than he already has. To have a chance, DeSantis needs to start telling the msm to shove it sideways. Like Trump does. He speaks for us. This is what got President Trump elected and this is what could get DeSantis elected. Assuming that Trump decides not to run - but he will. The love of America, as founded, remains strong within him. DeSantis as the new VP candidate?

If I remember correctly former Confederate general Joseph E. Johnston, when confronted by a southern man who was critical of the army's performance during the war but admitted to "having not had the privilege of serving," later quipped that the man was a member of a large group of men who were "invisible in war and invincible in peace." This is Mike Pence in a nutshell.
