“You’re ranting again.” — Dr. Anthony Fauci “I’m not ranting.” — U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan “Yes, you are.” — Fauci Of course Jim Jordan was ranting. That’s what the Republican congressman from Urbana does. His exertions at a hearing Thursday of the U.S. House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis even earned him a gaveling from the Democratic chairman of the committee when he exceeded his time limit and an admonition from another Democratic member “to respect the chair and shut your mouth.” Still, he persisted and eventually got Fauci to provide useful parameters for assessing whether and when measures intended to limit

Fauci has survived BECAUSE no one else has ranted at him and forced him to answer questions. Jordan isn't cursing or using ad-hominem attacks. He is simply but forcefully demanding answers while showing clearly Fauci's usual dissembling. Keep it up Congressman.

Rants are cheap. Republicans, whether in the majority or minority, rant on about any number of issues. They're always claiming to be a nickel short of the dollar, it only they had the White House...a larger majority...both Chambers of Congress. When they get them...they rant and negotiate half-measure deals that "are the best we can do". They "succeed" only because they are the sold major party alternative. The fact is they are part of the UNIPARTY cabal. So, rant on, Jim...it's good for the useful idiots we've all apparently become to maintain hope. On to '22!! Oh, and send money.

Jim Jordan voiced what millions of REAL Americans have been an asking for almost a year. Get your head out of your arse Andy. Aren't you at least a little curious about finding answers to at least some of the questions Jim Jordan asked? Doesn't it seem a little odd that this little worm Fauci is still telling everybody that we still have to do all the BS that we know doesn't work, even after we've gotten the vaccine? The latest figure states 200 million people have gotten at least one dose of this vaccine, yet businesses are still closed or operating at 50%, we're still expected to walk around with face rags, and the totally useless social distancing guide lines are still being used, despite the fact that the six feet crap was taken from a study from the 1890's. Jim Jordan trying to get some answers to some simple questions to the person who came up with all of this, and who keeps moving the goal posts is absolutely meaningful.

"Political theater" is the name and the overacting is intense on both sides. Does anyone really believe any of these "actors" are genuinely interested in our welfare? We are suckers at a carnival buying tickets to their side shows with our tax dollars. They are only interested in attaining their own Emmy and Oscar (power and money). Fauci used taxpayer money to fund the change of function Wuhan virus that killed people all over the world. He should be confronted and investigated. The FBI should be investigating Fauci, instead of imaginary white supremacists, be we would need a real FBI for that, instead of the woke mob of criminals that are leading that agency.

"Power to the People" was a chant used by anti-war and civil rights protesters in the '60s. John Lennon wrote a song with that title in 1971. The idea flowed from the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution which begins, "We the people." The concept behind that phrase was that the people, not the government, are sovereign and the government's power is granted to it by the governed. That has been reversed in our day as government has become evermore powerful, some would argue dictatorial, as demonstrated by restrictions on our liberties with the COVID-19 virus used as the excuse.
