Making sense of COVID is something I continually struggle with. (snip)
A report I read today alarmed me. It turns out that masks are far more dangerous than they are helpful. The ubiquitous blue-gray paper hospital-type mask, for instance, is made from stuff that will kill you if you breathe it. As bad as asbestos. (snip) The report explains that the stuff in masks is called graphene: "Graphene is a strong, very thin material that is used in fabrication, but it can be harmful to lungs when inhaled and can cause long-term health problems."

I use CPAP which i clean daily - 99.9% germ free - with So Clean through Ozononization. I simply put my cloth masks in there after each use. Can't do more than that.

Unfortunately, articles like this ( that do NOT support the Govt /Media agenda of Control) gather very little traction.
The 24/7/365+ "Viro-prop" has been incredibly effective... especially the part referring to masks where "..... It's not about protecting you...it's about protecting others ." ...and IF you disagree , then YOU are an ignorant, bad citizen...deserving of scorn.
The China Virus measures between.05 and 0.2 microns in diameter. One micron is 1 millionth part of a metre. ( ...HEY...that's SCIENCE !!...as the libsheep would say ). Does anyone in their right mind really think those cheap paper/cloth/bandana masks are going to stop this ? It's like using a chain link fence to stop mosquitoes.

Try telling people about this. They go crazy. So I tell them to invest in breathing equipment and pharmaceuticals to help with lung diseases. That's whats coming.

I don't use those kind of masks. I have ONE cloth mask that was sent to me in the mail by some health care company seeking to get my business on insurance. I tossed the ad unread, kept the mask, and it is the one I wear. Since it gets perhaps 2-5 minutes of use, a couple of times a week, zero use on most days, and I have washed out the ordinary fabric, I doubt it will be a problem. I wear the mask only when absolutely required, and minimize my occasions where it is required.

The comment by the Nextdoor webpage censor highlights the problem with trying to inform liberals of real health hazards in wearing masks. Whereas the author was explaining the percentages of Covid deaths compared to flu deaths (actually more children died of the common flu than of Covid) the Karen zeroed in on the “callousness” of Paulding posting “only 138 children died!” as if those 138 deaths could have and should have been avoided entirely by “science” and obedience to mask mandates. This was nothing but pure emotionalism. You can’t reason with a liberal. Using true logic, we can assume that this Karen is okay with risking our pulmonary health with industrial fibers because “it’s for the children!” Such irony. Liberals want this impossible number to assure public safety: Zero Covid deaths worldwide, zero guns, zero SUV’s, zero Whites, or zero conservatives.

I call BS on this. Medical professionals have been using these masks for decades. Do all of them have lung disease?

As an octogenarian who has seen decades of these flu scares, I do not live by the dictates of a bunch of failed/failing Democrat governors. I only put on a mask when shopping on a military base (where it is an Order)... and I rarely do that anymore... my Walmart or Publix is more accessible and accepting. And they do not charge a user fee or a tip for the packer. We need to fight this despicable "world government" attack on our freedoms... Reagan said it years ago.

I wear prescription sun glasses whenever I leave the house, and if I'm going indoors I have always kept them on. I used two pony tail elastics, sewed one on each end of a black cloth rectangle and when I have to go in to a store I slide the loops on the arms of my sunglasses. It is no way restrictive and no one ever says anything. It does not encase my nose or mouth in any way, it hangs freely . It also makes me look vaguely muslim which is perhaps why I'm never challenged. When outside , in the open air , the only things on my face are sun block and my sunglasses.

Back in February I had a sinus infection, the first one in about 20 years, due to...wearing a mask. Even though I wear one as little as possible even when forced to do so. I really feel for those poor people who are forced to wear them all day every day at their jobs.

#9, I, to, am suffering from a sinus infection, now extended into a third week, with a new antibiotic. Ptior to that, I had bronchitis.
The mask, I suspect, as does my primary care physician, is the cause.

I’m with #6 on this one. I’m a 74 year old nurse who has worked in surgery most of my nursing career, and everyone who works in the OR has been wearing these for years. Im not aware of lung disease being rampant in my profession.

#11, it's possible the mass-produced ones we've been flooded with are not the same as legacy medical versions.

I wonder if this report was written by a personal injury attorney.

Recently, a friend forgot their mask and bought a pack in Wally World. The package said to wash before using. I asked them to see where they were made. "In China" Oh swell, first they give US the virus, then sell US masks.
