President Joe Biden's administration for the first time Tuesday allowed journalists inside its main border detention facility for migrant children, after weeks of shutting the media out and releasing their own photos.
The tour revealed a severely overcrowded tent structure where more than 4,000 migrants, including children and families, were crammed into pods and the youngest kept in a large play pen with mats on the floor for sleeping.
Border guards say 14 per cent—one in seven—of the migrant children have tested positive for COVID and photos also show detainees being treated for lice, amid fears of an outbreak.

Paris's deputy mayor has prompted fury by calling to ban white people from discussions of racism. Left-wing deputy mayor Audrey Pulvar, 49, said white people should 'be asked to keep quiet and be silent spectators' during discussions around racism attended by black and ethnic minority people.
She explained: 'People who suffer discrimination for the same reasons and in the same way feel the need to meet among themselves to discuss it.'(Snip)
A collection of politicians, prominent intellectuals, and academics argued last month that France was being contaminated by American ideas on race, gender, and post-colonialism, and that they were undermining French society.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg walked back an idea he was touting just days ago to tax drivers by the mile as a way to ensure drivers of electric cars pay kick in more for wear and tear on roads.
'No, that's not part of the conversation about this infrastructure bill,' he said Monday when asked about the idea on CNN's 'The Lead' by host Jake Tapper, as President Joe Biden prepares to roll out his $3 trillion plan.
'But you will be hearing a lot more details in the coming days about how we envision being able to fund this.

Bianca Lewis, 21, was arrested Sunday for assault and weapon possession. She allegedly knifed the teen inside the Sutter Ave.-Rutland Road station in Brownsville about 6 p.m. March 13, police said. President Biden’s big announcement that Vice President Kamala Harris is in charge of the crisis at the US-Mexico border was apparently just some “confusion”—and she is merely tasked with addressing its “root causes,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Monday. Psaki issued the stunning clarification less than a week after Biden told reporters that he was delegating one of the most pressing issues of his young presidency to the veep.(Snip) Regardless of the specific focus of her border efforts, Harris is yet to begin taking meetings on the ongoing crisis. Horrifying new video captures an out-of-control New York City subway rider mercilessly beating another straphanger unconscious in front of other passengers—in what cops are calling a possible hate crime. The NYPD’s Hate Crime Unit tweeted out footage of the violent incident, and the department said the attack is being investigated for possible bias. However, sources said cops are still waiting for the victim to come forward before they can determine whether there was any. It wasn’t clear what sparked Sunday’s train beat-down, law enforcement sources said—but a woman can be heard on the footage being asked what prompted the attack
Comments:
Another day, another bLACK white supremacist giving a random Asian a senseless beat-down. If only Boy Joey would confiscate "assault rifles," the madness would cease.
