Disillusioned staffers are abandoning embattled Gov. Cuomo, sources said.
“I hear that most people aren’t even coming into work, and the offices at the Capitol are empty,” said one well-placed insider in touch with staffers in recent days.
“He’ll fight and fight and fight, but the staffers I’ve talked to are ready for him to hang up the gloves. Everyone feels like there is an inevitable conclusion — I mean at some point will Biden call on him to step down? They [staffers] just want this torture to stop.”

Maryland residents received some good news yesterday from Governor Larry Hogan. Starting at 5 pm on Friday, capacity limits were lifted for a wide range of businesses and social activities. These include both indoor and outdoor dining, retail outlets and churches. Gyms and bingo halls were also included, along with bowling alleys and skating rinks. Hogan credited the progress the state has made in vaccinating people and the continued decline in new COVID cases for the decision. Unfortunately for the people of Charm City, their new mayor was not a fan of Hogan’s decision. Brandon Scott immediately issued a statement saying that the current conditions did not warrant

Portland police detained a crowd of over 100 protesters during a Friday night demonstration, stemming a march only minutes after it began.
The mass detainment was an apparent use of kettling, a police tactic of surrounding a crowd and containing people within a perimeter. Police told the crowd they were detaining everyone within the boundary for the “investigation of a crime” but did not specify the nature of the alleged crime.
Demonstrators initially gathered in the Pearl District about 8:30 p.m. and started marching roughly a half-hour later. Police threatened to arrest protesters minutes after the march started

Whether the Biden wants to admit it or not, it’s a crisis at the border.
People are literally flooding in unchecked, as this video shows. It should say south, not SE Texas.
The Biden team is claiming that their response is humane, but as this new, CBS News report explains, they’ve reactivated a crisis — which President Donald Trump effectively solved — with their horrendous policies. So no, it isn’t humane when they trigger a flood and can’t effectively deal with it because of the massive amount of people. According to the CBS report, we’re hearing really bad stories now

Euthanasia/Assisted Suicide:
How It Starts: It’s just a safety valve, a tiny change in medical ethics and the law. Protective guidelines will protect against abuse!
Where It Is Now: There are too many obstacles to death! We have to make it easier to die!
Where It’s Going: Death on demand for any reason (already the law in Germany).
Some jurisdictions are moving along this trajectory quickly and some more slowly. But over time, that is the way the current flows.
Canada is speed runner in this regard. After its supreme court imposed a positive right to euthanasia in 2015, the country cheered and embraced “medical assistance in dying” (MAID) with an enthusiasm

"Real Time" host Bill Maher closed his show Friday night by sounding the alarm on China's growing dominance over the United States.
"You're not going to win the battle for the 21st century if you are a silly people. And Americans are a silly people," Maher began the monologue, alluding to a "Lawrence of Arabia" quote.
"Do you know who doesn't care that there's a stereotype of a Chinese man in a Dr. Seuss book? China," he said. "All 1.4 billion of them couldn't give a crouching tiger flying f--- because they're not a silly people. If anything, they are as serious as a prison fight."

A New York State whistleblower says that another wrongheaded policy has cost lives to the state’s most vulnerable, and he blames Governor Andrew Cuomo.
In 2011, Jeff Monsour won a landmark federal jury trial for whistleblower retaliation after he disclosed abuses in New York state’s group homes. He told The American Conservative that he and Mike Carey, whose son died in a group home over fourteen years ago, have been warning everyone—including Gov. Cuomo—of the so-called floating policy and its deleterious effects on COVID spread in group homes.

The polling, most especially out of Britain — or is it “England” or “Great Britain”? — has made it pretty clear that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s weekend appearance with Billionaire Race-Hoaxer Oprah Winfrey was a big mistake.

What do frontline health care workers and first responders know about COVID-19 vaccines that politicians and their public health advisers don’t?
According to a January analysis by Gallup, 51 percent of health care workers and first responders polled in December were unconvinced of the merits of getting vaccinated, even if the vaccine “was free, available, FDA approved and 90% effective.”
Gallup found these results especially concerning since those at highest risk of exposure to COVID-19—the professionals required to meet America’s health, safety, and critical economic needs whom the National Academies of Engineering, Science and Medicine define as “Tier 1A workers”—were the likeliest to refuse vaccination (34 percent).

CDC data shows a fifth of all US cases of the more highly contagious and more deadly B.1.1.7 strain first detected in the south of England have come from the Sunshine State. In total, Florida has recorded 690 cases, dwarfing much of the rest of the US where 44 of all 50 states have recorded fewer than 100 cases. The next highest state Michigan has 563 followed by Colorado with 267.

MINNEAPOLIS — The first week of jury selection in the trial of a former Minneapolis police officer charged in George Floyd's death established patterns for how attorneys go about dismissing potential jurors they perceive as unfavorable to their side. The defense is striking people who tell the court they already have strong feelings about Derek Chauvin's guilt. The prosecution, meanwhile, is blocking potential jurors who seem inclined to give police the benefit of the doubt — or who express misgivings about the Black Lives Matter movement. It’s embarrassing. Our corrupt, partisan media are embarrassing. Thursday night, President Joe Biden gave a speech to mark the one-year anniversary of the World Health Organization’s delayed acknowledgment of the COVID-19 pandemic that China unleashed upon the world. The media swooned. The speech was delivered off a Teleprompter by a man who wasn’t inspiring even when he had better command of his faculties decades ago. It was ungracious, going out of its way to refuse to acknowledge his predecessor’s Operation Warp Speed, the only pandemic response that has worked. And it worked so well: throwing money at private developers and getting rid of regulatory hurdles to do the impossible of obtaining vaccines within a few months.

Cui Bono, who benefits? The interview has no happy ending, except for CBS and Winfrey, whose Harpo company received $9 million

“[M]ost of the beaches on the East Coast of the United States would be gone in 25 years,” the fake New York Times told the world 25 years ago, all the way back in 1995.
Fact check: It’s 2021 and America’s East Coast beaches are doing just fine!
Here’s the relevant portion from the original Times’ article:
A continuing rise in average global sea level, which is likely to amount to more than a foot and a half by the year 2100. This, say the scientists, would inundate parts of many heavily populated river deltas and the cities on them, making them uninhabitable, and would destroy many beaches around the world.

As we all know, the last election was a “tipping point” election on many different levels. An election won with the use of illegal last-minute changes to state election laws has led to a rogue regime that threatens the very foundations of America. This is being achieved through highly questionable executive orders, the decimation of the concept of national sovereignty and an attack on fossil fuels, the lifeblood of our economy. Moreover, Biden is converting our military into a social justice agency and transforming our intelligence services into witch-hunters for conservatives who dared to protest a stolen election.

Tonight Terry Roberts, the attorney heading up Ashli Babbitt’s legal team went on Tucker Carlson to discuss the hardships and details of the case.Ashli Babbit was shot dead by a US Capitol Police Officer on January 6, 2021. (Video) Babbitt Family Attorney, Terrell Roberts told Tucker Carlson that NOTHING warranted the use of deadly force on Ashli Babbitt.Terrell Roberts: “He could have arrested this 5’2”, 110-pound woman easily, but instead he shot her. You don’t use deadly force unless you are confronted with a threat to your life or a threat on somebody else’s life. There was no immediate threat to the Officer or to anyone else.

Watching Biden’s first official address to the nation on Thursday night, I was reminded of nothing so much as the life-like carved wooden Indians that, beginning in the 19th century, used to grace the sidewalk in front of the tobacconist’s store. While they advertised a product, as actual Native Americans, they were nothing but blank fakes. They certainly weren’t the real thing – and in 2021, there’s nothing real about Biden.
You can still find lots of these “cigar store Indians” for sale online, many of them new, so I guess they haven’t yet been canceled. They operated as a reminder to customers, many of whom used to be illiterate,

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is warning President Joe Biden to clamp down on the uncontrolled migrant inflow at the U.S. border.
“They are rolling up their sleeves and working on this. I think it will get better in the next few months,” Schumer told ABC’s The View on Thursday, adding, “If it doesn’t, I will go to them and say, ‘You’ve got to do better.’ I will be public.”
Schumer is very pro-migration, but has adopted a cautious strategy towards migration legislation since 2014 when Democrats lost five Senate seats after voters punished them for Schumer’s 2013-14 “Gang of Eight” amnesty push.

The Biden administration has enjoyed no honeymoon. The cabal that addled Joe Biden fronts really didn’t want one. Bridge-building, comity, and compromise are passé. What Ron Klain, Susan Rice, and a knot of plutocrats and “progressives” who pull Joe’s strings want are crises. Manufactured crises are just as good as the real deals. They’re opportunities not to be wasted. Not wasted for what, you may ask? Not wasted for power and money. Democrats’ reflexive appeals to compassion and kumbaya are shabby, if serviceable, ploys. Flimflammers get it.Putting it more decorously, crisis is a governance tool of Biden minions and Democrats generally.

“BIDEN,” say the young demonstrators’ T-shirts, imitating his campaign logo, “PLEASE LET US IN!” What a waste of T-shirt money: For President Biden seems determined to let in as many immigrants as want to come. The numbers are daunting. About 80,000 people tried to cross the southern border this January, double the number in January 2020. That number could easily balloon this spring, traditionally the peak migration season, with fewer COVID-19 restrictions in place. And with less cooperation from Mexico. The 2019 illegal surge was quashed by the protocol to which then-President Donald Trump got Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to agree.

Donald Trump has made a surprise appearance at a dog rescue fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago, after returning to his home base in Florida following a quick trip to New York. The former President delighted attendees at the event - held Friday night to raise money for Big Dog Ranch Rescue - as he took to the stage for an impromptu speech, which was shared to Twitter by journalist T.A. Walker. 'I didn't exactly prepare for this, but I was walking by, and I heard everyone screaming,' Trump was seen telling the crowd as they broke into rapturous applause.

Scientists have begun to lay plans for repopulation, starting with a sperm bank—on the moon. In what they’re calling a “modern global insurance policy,” mechanical engineers have proposed that humans establish a repository of reproductive cells—sperm and ova—from 6.7 million of Earth’s species, including humans. And the proposed bank, or “ark,” would be beneath the moon’s surface. As our planet faces natural disasters, drought, asteroids and the potential for nuclear war—to name a few troubles—scientists say that humans must set their sights on space travel to preserve life as we know it. “Earth is naturally a volatile environment,”

White and non-black people are being told not to share any of the numerous Oprah Winfrey memes from her bombshell interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle—because they are a form of 'digital blackface'. The Slow Factory Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to social and environmental justice, this week issues a warning about digital blackface, describing it as an online phenomenon where white and non-black people share GIFs and photos of black people to express emotion, and stating that it often perpetuates negative stereotypes that they are 'aggressive, loud, and sassy.'(Snip) Some praised the organization for raising awareness

New York—For years, researchers have said a lack of diversity in Hollywood films doesn't just poorly reflect demographics, it's bad business. A new study by the consulting firm McKinsey & Company estimates just how much Hollywood is leaving on the table: $10 billion. The McKinsey report, released Thursday, analyzes how inequality shapes the industry and how much it ultimately costs its bottom line. The consulting firm deduced that the $148 billion film and TV industry loses $10 billion, or 7%, every year by undervaluing Black films, filmmakers and executives.(Snip) The BlackLight Collective, a coalition of Black executives and talent in the industry,

President Joe Biden took a swipe at Sarah Palin, his foe from 13-years-ago, Friday as he celebrated the passage of the “American Rescue Plan.”In the Rose Garden with congressional Democrats, Biden said he may appoint Vice President Kamala Harris to implement the $1.9 trillion behemoth spending bill.“The devil is in the details of implementing this legislation,” Biden said.“I know from experience, when the president (Barack Obama) turned to me like I haven’t done to the vice president yet and said, ‘Take care of it. You take care of implementing the plan,'” he said, adding he believed Harris could do it.

It is hard to believe, but Joe Biden may not even be America’s most accomplished plagiarist. The “antiracist” radicals can stake a claim, given their own renown and remuneration and their ruination of others.By plagiarizing the tenets of communist China’s Cultural Revolution, the anti-racist grifters have turned white progressives’ self-loathing masochism into a veritable pinata of perks, power, profit, and tenured sinecures in the bowels of academia and corporations. Consider this excerpt from the 1966 People’s Daily op-ed by Chen Boda, “Sweep Away All Monsters and Demons” that kicked off the carnage of Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution:

Don Lemon says it’s incredibly frustrating that so many White people refer to “tough” conversation about race when it comes easy to him. The CNN host told Jimmy Fallon Thursday night that the blueprint for healing racial divides in America can be found through him and specifically in his new book “How Change Happens.” “This book is a great way to grow,” the “Tonight Show” host said. “And, even just have the conversation. Although it’s awkward, sometimes it needs to be had.” Mr. Lemon signed in exasperation before responding.(Snip) The conversation then zeroed in politically right-leaning Americans as the primary impediment

A group of United Kingdom-based newspapers accused CBS of taking headlines out of context during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's highly publicized tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey during a "misleading montage" designed to deceive viewers.
Associated Newspapers, publishers of Mail Online, the Daily Mail and The Mail On Sunday, sent a scathing letter to CBS accusing the network of presenting doctored and out-of-context images as headlines during the "Oprah with Meghan and Harry" special Sunday night.
