Congress is set to approve the largest injection of federal cash into a growing economy in U.S. history. The nearly $2 trillion stimulus package headed to President Joe Biden’s desk Wednesday comes after lawmakers approved nearly $4 trillion last year as the economy cratered under the coronavirus pandemic. And the White House still wants trillions more in stimulus spending this year through a sweeping infrastructure package. (Snip) It will be a moment of glory for Biden when he signs the new relief act in the coming days, the centerpiece of his early agenda. But a sunny ending is not fully
They make it sound like spending money is an heroic act.

“If it works out well, Biden will be viewed as a hero and he’ll deserve it,” No doubt who THIS guy donated money to. Biden can't even put a complete sentence together. If this economy takes off, it will IN SPITE of Commucrats, not because of them!

Our federal government no longer has any fiscal responsibility. Even President Trump did not - or could not - impede the massive federal spending. He kept the vast majority of his campaign promises, but not this one.
Balanced budget? What's that?
It's a runaway freight train, and beginning to feel like the Roaring 20s shortly before the Great Depression.

Democrats are those people who are born without the Math gene. So it's understandable that they believe the economic fantasy they are pursuing. And for a while, all the injected funny money will make it seem like a magical merry-go-round ride. Indeed, I predict that we are entering the "Roaring (20)20s." Unfortunately for all of us, it will all crash...just like the "Roaring (19)20s" did.
Getting a jolt of money to spend by getting it from a diamond credit card with which you also need to keep paying off your maxed out platinum card is great fun until you finally have to pay off the diamond card. Wisdom for free. Max it out.

This is rich, relief for small business owned by people of color and women. What is to stop me of asking for a bundle of change and claiming that I am black or a woman? How many will try this? I hope a lot!

Let's see, those first few Trillions were "heroic", passed with bi-partisan support and signed by PDT with great fanfare. Hurray for our side. Now, well, it's just ridiculous...Democrats spreading it around. Now those Republicans put every dollar where it did the most good, you can bet...
Let's stop the nonsense. Republicans have their benefactors; Democrats theirs. They "won" the elections that mattered, and Republicans squandered any pretense at "fiscal responsibility". And that constant BRRRRRRRRR in your ears...that's the government presses cranking out more UNIPARTY dough. Not enough? They'll make more!! We're all socialists now.

What he was saying:
“If it works out well, Biden will be viewed as a hero and he’ll deserve it. But if it works out badly, destruction of the nation was worth a grand experiment like this.”

I'm pretty sure that this legislation, like many before it, contains that provision that expressly says you and I aren't getting a dime for this.

A trillion dollars just doesn't go as far as it use to. A trillion here and a trillion there and pretty soon it adds up like about right now. I have a visual of a wheel barrow full of Benjamins to by a loaf of bread in our future. I'm going to cut back on my eating habits and practice consuming potted meat and baloney.

#3, when it seems like it's free money, and easy campaign giveaway, it's not hard to spend such massive sums, by either party.
And, no one person will be able to stop such spending.
Plus, Obama stated, it was only borrowing money from ourselves since it's coming from the Treasury, which gave it a justification, a rationalization or excuse.
If H.R. 1 passes, it ends the 1787 agreement which pieced together the States, and gave them authority, which will render them all moot very soon. Dictates will come from DC, and no state will need to have representation within their territory. They will be mere underlings to the Federal authorities.

Enjoy $500 per gallon gasoline and $1000 hamburgers. Get those wheel barrels greased up. They'll be needed to pay for the inflated prices we'll be paying for daily necessities.
