The White House announced Friday that the Biden Administration will codify Roe v. Wade, which would allow for legal abortions even in the event that the Supreme Court overturns the 1973 ruling. The Biden Administration made the announcement in a press statement put out by the White House. “The Biden-Harris Administration is committed to codifying Roe v. Wade and appointing judges that respect foundational precedents like Roe,” reads the statement. Corrections*

Roe v Wade was always a horrible ruling plucked from thin air. At least trying through the legal process is how these things are supposed to be done even if the goal is the same.

The pastor of our church will be preaching about the evil of abortion this week. Funny how he spoke of the absolute moral evil of abortion during the runup to the election but failed to emphasize that one side was clearly in support of baby killing and the other upheld life. During discussions with a couple of fellow committed Christians I was dumfounded that they supported Biden because he character and moral compass were so much better than Trump's. My ace-in-the-hole was pointing out that Biden is an unrestricted abortion supporter who is a massive hypocrite because he acknowledges that he believes his church teachings yet he can't let morality interfere with his service to humanity. then, I point out that Trump is the most pro-life president of my lifetime. Amazingly, they would still say that Trump's sinful past life renders him the poorer choice! Even with this revelation of Biden's intent to expand abortion they will probably not question their choice!

Between abject cowardice and being compromised, I’m pretty sure you’re guaranteed to get what a ever your masters want. So, be a good boy, take your pills, and get into bed. Good. The extermination of the future that is abortion, the slaughter of the truly innocent that these politicians have technically been able to claim is simply a mandate from the "high court" can now be laid directly at the feet of those who write, sponsor, vote to pass and then sign off to enact this crime. If they pass it, and I why wouldn't they, then "devout Catholic" Biden will show his deep Christian convictions by signing off on it. It makes official what they have always professed.

This goes beyond defense of Roe v. Wade. But take one solace, that executive orders can be undone by the next President's executive orders. If not reined-in, though, the practice will lead to having the entirety of our legal code flip-flopping every time the White House switches parties. Absolute travesty.

There is simply no Constitutional way to do this. Unless this is somehow cast as a violation of interstate commerce there is no basis for a federal law that pertains to the establishment of criminal statutes. Only states have this power. Not that it matters to any of these tyrants but the SCOTUS must find this "codification" to be unconstitutional on its face.

What the heck does this gibberish even mean? They talk as if some how magically "codifying" a law will make it impossible for the courts to overturn it as unconstitutional. But then again, the Constitution is pretty much meaningless these days, and the SCOTUS rank cowards and corrupt, so who knows what the new rules of the kakistocracy are.

I don’t think that the President has the constitutional authority to “Codify” a Supreme Court decision by making it a law. That’s within the constitutional authority of the Congress that would have to pass a law to that effect. Once Congress did that, the text of the law would then be “Codified”.

#5- Because of God’s gift of free will, mortal man does control his own body and can choose to sin or walk in the light. However, mortal man’s bodies are ON LOAN from God—God created Adam and breathed life into Adam. One of the Ten Commandments is, “Thou shalt not murder.” Abortion is murder. For any individual to condone abortion is to condone murder, to forsake God’s Word. God knows us before we are born; named in Bible before being born: Ishmael Genesis 16:11 - Isaac Genesis 17:19 - Solomon 1 Chronicles 22:9 - Josiah 1 Kings 13:2 - Cyrus Isaiah 44:28 - John (Baptist) Luke 1:13 - JESUS Matthew 1:21. Further, Scripture teaches: “Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.” (1 Corinthians 3:16-17) #9- Scripture is very clear that mortal man is to not judge others—God is our only Judge. For “committed Christians” to declare President Trump’s character and moral compass being more sinful than Joe Biden’s is sitting in judgment of President Trump; such “committed Christians” have rejected one of God’s directives. “Judge not, that you be not judged. ...” (Matthew 7:1-5)

The Constitution isn't working 12 replies

The U.S. Constitution is the sacred text of American government and civic life. But it’s time to face facts: The document, written in 1787, isn’t working. The signs are all around us. Just 38 percent of Americans in a recent Gallup poll expressed either a “great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in the presidency, down from 48 percent in 2001. Congress, never high in the public’s estimation to begin with, fell from 26 percent to a mere 12 percent. The Supreme Court has also taken a hit, down from 50 percent to 36 percent during the same period.

Many on the political right oppose so-called “Big Government” due primarily to the tyranny it inevitably inflicts on its citizens, and we’re seeing scary examples of the phenomenon in real-time. Examples of such autocracy include vaccine and mask mandates, jury intimidation (see the Derek Chauvin trial), and unapologetic assaults on our First Amendment right to free speech.
