I write about my feelings not because I’m going to tidy up the loose ends at the conclusion with a neatly reasoned-out policy recommendation, but because I think I am not alone in feeling this way, and so I think my current feelings are pertinent to the public discourse. Here is the feeling I am having: I am a never-Trumper who is probably going to vote for Trump.

Jennifer doesn’t deal in logic. She deals in feelings. This piece oozes “feelings”:
From the right, I continue to see the usual callous indifference to the lives of ordinary people, but it’s just indifference. The message I am getting from the left is that I am a target they mean to destroy.
I’m not real comfortable with that.
Her feelings tell us that the left is - for now - just too risky for her. Too potentially dangerous. So she can live with what she sees (erroneously) as the right’s “indifference”. OK, Jennifer, whatever floats your boat. Just do it. And try for some logic in your life.

PS. Jennifer is a perfect example of the “woke” generation. Regardless of her age. It is a way of thinking. She doesn’t see what President Trup has done that has benefitted the country, but her “feelings” tell her that what she sees on the other side is just too wrong. What to do?
Vote for Trump, Jennifer. You’ll be fine. And so will your feelings.

Go to Venezuela for a year - I’ll spot you the $500 to live there. Then let me know how you ‘feel’ for the next election. You’ll look really great in a size 2 burlap dress in 2021....

Good for her. I'll take any vote and voice I can get at this point without any criticism or recrimination on my part.

She may detest Trump as a narcissist but she is genuinely threatened by the left's plans for her safety and religious freedom. I hope her attitude is more typical of traditional Democrats than the blind obedience to party dogma that the leadership expects from them.

The Daily Mail is not a conservative newspaper, it is a anti-Trump UK rag.
When you vote, what should take center stage in your voting decision should be the political agenda that each candidate will implement when elected. President Trump has always been very transparent as to his political agenda, what you see is what you get. In contrast Biden has been very secretive of the socialist Democrat political agenda that he will be forced to implement if elected, while falsely blaming Trump for the Chinese Communist facilitated COVID pandemic and all the deaths that have occurred in the USA during the COVID pandemic, while saying that he will control COVID by apparently creating a federal mandate that the entire country must wear face masks at all times, that is pure BS. if you want to see the true facts of what that socialist Democrat agenda consists of, you must look at what all the Democrats, including Biden, were saying back during the Democrat State caucuses and primaries, that will give you a true picture of what a Biden-Harris Administration would be doing.

This girl has issues if it takes 978 lines of print to describe her “feelings” about voting for PDJT.
Maybe she is young and her quick- brain cells are not fully formed.
Yet, we’re glad to have her vote.
Welcome, Jennifer to the Trump Train.

A never-Trumper, Ms Fitz never makes it clear why she abhors him, but likely because he acts like a man. Glad to see she’s finally realized what millions of voters figured four years ago, he’s on your side. She’s typical of those living in a protected bubble of well educated, well heeled friends enjoying a presumably cultured life where estrogen rules and assertive men are vilified. Now that her world is being threatened, she’s looking for someone to save the day.

She is typical of those on the left. They never apply thought or logic to anything they go with their feelings. Personally I don't care what you feel I want to know what you think.

She likely had no problem with the "womanizing" of Clinton. Name one president who wasn't somewhat narcissistic. It's required for a politician.

We on the Right are not indifferent. We simply believe that your life is YOUR responsibility, for better or worse. One thing I have learned is that when people run into trouble and I am able to find out enough detail about the situation, the vast majority of time THEY have made significant contributions to their own problems by making bad choices or through bad behavior. For example, someone loses their job and you realize that they have been regularly showing up late to work or not at all.
The problem is, digging into every situation to figure out exactly what the cause is an impossible task, especially from the far removed federal government level. Concern and needed help is best delivered locally. So as a federal issue, I AM indifferent to individuals because that is the WRONG place to help from. At a federal level, we might want to see if states need more aid for good well administered programs. States should work with cities. Cities should work with districts and boroughs. Districts, boroughs, and towns should help people.

The problem with health care is the government’s involvement. We need to find ways to make healthcare itself more affordable, not just have the government drive up prices by paying for everything.
Dimocrats will make things worse, especially for those of use who pull the wagon. Vote against socialism, it’s that simple.

Yes dear. The Left wishes to kill us. I hope you don't forget that. The Left wishes to smother any freedom of thought, freedom of religion, freedom to live, to love our country, to take our destinies in our own hands. All that freedom stuff is so messy & can't be easily controlled by the tyrant. You note that the Democrats do not care about the Constitution or the constitutionality of any law they write. Glad you figured this out & have opposed it - that give me hope that some part of our population no longer clings to a guilt ridden death wish. The ACA is a faulty step to fulfill a 'noble cause' - and as such is ripe for manipulation by politicians & jingoists. Cancel culture & wokeness are not a attribute of today's Republican & Conservative wings - rather they are looked upon with avid glee by the Left who are totalitarians in sheep's clothing.

Not thinking - feeling, as #1 says. This sort of person is difficult for me to understand well, since I live in a 95% logical world myself.
Don't let your emotions get the best of you. THINK rather than FEEL.
As Rush once said, "I don't care at all how you feel but I am very interested in what you think.
Yes, exactly.

In the end, it all boils down to our choices/actions. We have to care enough about the truth to make an effort to get it, to THINK about what it means and the ramifications of our response/lack of response to it. For the purposes of the upcoming election, the raw truth is that you will either live as a free American with God-given rights enumerated and enshrined in our Constitution and protected by laws or you will live as a slave of the socialist/communist state with no God, no rights, no protection under the law. Pray and vote as if your life and the life of this nation depends on it.

Just asking Jennifer for a friend. Followed the article until the part about Trump's 'mishandling' of Covid. Is this your reaction from 20/20 hindsight or did you feel the same while concern when the Chinese virus was first detected in the US and developed into an uncontrollable pandemic? If the former then your armchair quarterbacking is just that. If the latter then did you put forth any writings about what the President should be doing at that time, based on you insights into the rapidly growing virus spread?

Agreed, #22, she has NO CASE for her statement "Trump bungled COVID", and even goes on to deconstruct the entire fake news Dem case against the President, but is too dense to see that once she does her analysis....there is NO BUNGLING there.
She just "feels" like she doesn't like Trump....and that overwhelms her modest powers of logic, but amazingly, her logic is finally winning out over her feelings.
Glad she figured it out in the end, and hope millions more do, too.

Dear Jennifer, I notice that you like so many others say that President Trump somehow "bungled" the COVID response and yet I have not heard one of you say how you would have improved that response. Just how would you have done it. Joe and the democrats didn't even want to stop the Chinese from coming in as late as March. Trump gathered all the scientists and had briefings daily, which I can bet you didn't even bother to watch. We were dealing with a completely new thing and all things were being tried. What constructive thing would you have done in the face of experts who said don't wear masks one day and then said wear them the next. What would you have suggested? Getting companies to work with the government to produce more medical equipment? Oh wait he did that. How about actually turning the Javits Center into a hospital? Oh wait he did that. How about talking to nations around the world to find out what was working and what was not? Oh wait.....
I am sick to death of Monday morning quarterbacks who want to tell you that someone had a better plan. Well you didn't and neither did anyone else so I suggest you think long and hard about how you determine your vote because you should not be reluctant to vote for this man you should be proud to vote for him because he is what stands between you and your mouth being taped shut because you are a Catholic who believes in God and that is the most important reason you should vote for him,
And as a Catholic I would think that you would realize that God only sent perfection once to help us, He uses flawed humans each and every day to achieve what His plan is for us . And if I were you, I would seriously be searching my soul for the vestiges of one of the worst of the sins, that of Pride. Our greatest saints were flawed men who probably would not have been up to your high standards would they?
