Most students in Massachusetts will now be required to receive flu vaccinations, state health officials announced Wednesday.
According to a Department of Health press release, the "influenza immunization will be required for all children 6 months of age or older who are attending Massachusetts child care, pre-school, kindergarten, K-12, and colleges and universities."
College students who are fully remote are exempt from the mandate, as are homeschooled students.

The least affected group to get shots first, so the rest of us can't be far behind. Nothing to so with covid other than set a precedent

Massachusetts is competing for the "most taxpayers fleeing to other states" award... this will increase their data. I believe the question, "Why would anyone agree to have an unproven 'vaccine' injected into their healthy system? Fear or stupidity.... both?

Um...required vaccination has been around in schools for a long time, just not the flu vaccine. If you wanted to live on campus at university, you had to provide proof of vaccination back when I went to school in the 90's. The flu vaccines efficacy does indeed change from one year to the next due to how it is produced in anticipation of the coming flu season. I personally don't advocate forced vaccination but then I also home school. If you don't want your kids vaccinated, don't send them to schools that require it. Yes, it limits your options but all choices have consequences. Grow up and deal with it.

Vaccines are rolled out based on what the "experts" THINK will be the prevalent flu in any given year. Its literally a crap shoot. If they guess correctly, its effective. If they dont, then its worthless.

#7, I can't be completely sure about this but I would recommend clicking that Michelle Obama ad. It costs them money (cost per click). Don't have to sign anything, don't have to give them any info. Just click and spend their money... If ANY body has better info, please let us know.

The Sheeple have proven through six months of mask-wearing that they are very susceptible to extortion and threats by petty dictators. I haven't had a flu shot in fifty years and I will not start now. I no longer think highly enough of my fellow human beings to worry about being a carrier.

As far as Michelle Obama or any other ads go, you can purchase Lucianne's ad-free version or you can install Fireffox and set filter to Strict. Getting rid of her face alone is worth the investment.

Flu vaccines are about 35% effective, so I've read. I doubt the number is that high. Last flu vaccine I took, I got pneumonia three times that winter. I won't take them and would not give them to a child unless that child is immunosuppressed, and even then I'd think twice about it. Considering all the other vaccines aren't perfect in preventing what it's given for, I'd rethink the whole vaccination process if I had small children.

Flu vaccines work, but are unneeded for younger folks whose immune system will stop the flu easily. The vaccines are most useful for older people.
