An appellate court has tossed the death sentence and overturned three of the convictions of Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
The court in its ruling cited errors in the proceedings that found Dzhokhar guilty and condemned him to death, according to papers tweeted out by @Law360 senior Boston courts reporter Chris Villani.
The ruling will not result in Tsarnaev being freed, and the death penalty can be revisited, according to an excerpt included with the tweet.

We have a problem with what’s being taught in our law schools.

Why was this treated as a 'criminal law' issue and not an act of war/terrorism? They were out-of-uniform muzzie soldiers. After they were drained of information, summary execution should have been the end.

So, we are privileged to provide three-hots-and-a-cot for this walking, talking dung-pile for decades to come.
He should have taken a dirt nap like his also-worthless piece-of-crap brother.
Our "justice" system is an infuriating mess.

The Judge is, of course, an Obama appointee.

shoddy reporting - could not find any reason for the decision to void the sentence in the article - a competent reporter
would have summarized what supposedly took 224 pages to explain.
by the way, didnt this guy run over his brother in the escap?

Let's see these liberal POS courts overturn the death sentences of the 3 people he killed. I wish some of these muzzies would target liberal politicians and judges!

It’s a bloody damn shame the Boston PD didn’t do the right thing when they found this little Mooslim hiding in that boat - and put about 300 holes in it.

One of the jurors had posted negative things about Tsarnaev on social media before he was put on the jury. Funny that that gets a murderer's sentence overturned but a biased juror in the Roger Stone case was OK. I guess there the more serious the crime, the more justice there is--?

Would have been cheaper had the arresting officers saw the gun he had and blown him away on the spot. Also, note that Ojetta Rogeriee Thompson is an Obama judge, no surprise there.

I doubt this judge would have any concern about the fairness of the Roger Stone sentencing.

Refugees from a terrorist hotbed, Chechnya, the whole family sought safety here. They were frauds, all of them, on al kinds of assistance, the mother had been arrested for shop-lifting, i believe.
The ONLY reason there were not more fatalities was the tents set up for the runners were manned by some of the best doctors in the world, from Mass General, Brigham and Women's, Beth Israel and others.
The Tsarnaev boys were vicious criminals. The younger drove his getaway over his brother and killed him. For every stage of the trials, the whole Tsarnaev family was brought back to the US, paid for by US citizens.
He needs to be executed. All the convicted terrorists need to be executed.

Lame article. Typical of tabloid Post, which is about clickbait headlines. Another more detailed one from CNN is up now. The penalty phase will be a do over. Main point seems to be that it was determined in Boston, where emotions ran too high (duh!) and too many were affected by the bombing. He will still be in custody forever (or until some fool Dem turns him loose) and he can still be given death penalty.
