Seattle has been making big news in the last couple of days. The first major story emerged Tuesday when police ceded an entire neighborhood to Antifa and Black Lives Matter, representatives of which barricaded a large segment of the Capitol Hill neighborhood and declared the area an “autonomous” community, separate from Seattle itself. The second newsworthy story occurred when thousands of leftist protesters led by Black Lives Matter and Antifa entered City Hall shortly after midnight on Wednesday, demanding that Mayor Jenny Durkan (a Democrat) resign.

I keep hoping for some pushback on all this garbage that we've been subjected to since md-March, but I'm starting to lose hope.

#1, push back will begin as soon as this crap starts wearing on the public. People of Seattle will begin to wake up and wonder what in the h3ll happened to their city. Their freedoms will be gone, punks will be running the city, etc. Wait, it will happen. It could lead to a small civil war, who knows, but it can happen OR the people may get fed up and vote these socialists out of office.

I think it was in 1996, a fellow named Thomas Chittum wrote a book called "Civil War II: The Coming Breakup of America" in which he indicated several trends in rioting that are presaging a civil war: (1) The use of heavy weapons; (2) Ethnic Militias; (3) Barricades...rioters essentially declaring themselves a sovereign entity, and (4) The Siege of police Stations, which, to the rioters, are seen as an occupying army to be expelled. We're seeing all of that now. This (expletive) ain't funny and the government needs to get a grip on this situation before it's too late, if it isn't already.

It will be interesting to see if Amazon will stay in Seattle after their warehouse gets looted and no one comes to help when they call 911.

Pushback?
Have ya'll noticed that all of this is going on in democrat run states and or democrat run cities? Thus far, the democrats have shown weakness, deference and even kneeling. If you know anything about human nature, submission and weakness invites more abuse and more demands.
This will end ONLY when the trasoncrat party realises that the ongoing protests, violence and increasing demands will hurt them in November. And thats why these things ALWAYS preceed elections. Hopefully, people will either still be worked up enough to turn out at the polls or mollified enough to forget that the treasoncrats started it.

Ozero 'used' socialism to import Islam... when those two (Commies vs. Islamists) go head-to-head, we do not have a side to be on. They are both evil.

Antifa rides on the coattails of racial disturbances using them as a smokes screen. They wave whatever flag that helps give them immunity. Few if any including themselves know what they expect to achieve. Creating an "autonomous zone" becomes the de facto end game because there is nothing more than can be achieved. Unlike the Russian Revolution the vast majority of the population realizes that there is nothing to replace the current system that could possibly any better and if there were they would vote for it and not allow nameless and faceless rioters create it for them.

Seattle has been lost for a few years. What is Antifa going to do with the homeless, make them slaves? What are the authorities going to do when the executions begin? They probably thought they were taking over Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. not the state of Washington. Imagine their surprise...

Turn off the utilities. Do not allow food into the area. As soon as families living in there see the water not coming our of their faucets or their lights not coming on, they'll get out before they are forced to remain as hostages. Let’s see how long the touchy-feely people of Seattle will put up with this and show how virtuous they are. If civilians are harmed, then you send in the troops. But you need the go ahead of the mayor and governor for cover.

All of this because of a domestic dispute between George Floyd and Derek Chauvin. I am reading that a coworker from the night club stated that Floyd and Chauvin were always butting heads. These two individuals knew each other so it is a domestic dispute not a racist act. The fact that Derek Chauvin is allowed to work at a nightclub and as a police officer creates conflict of interest. Again, I attribute this to weak Democrat leadership.
During Obama's tenure, he strove to legalize marijuana. A dangerous precedent especially for people who are not law-abiding citizens. George Floyd was one of those people and why he was given so much freedom especially with being diagnosed with the virus on April 3, I have no idea. Again, I attribute this to weak Democrat leadership.

I know one thing for sure.
When there is free stuff, “they” will gather.
Expect every freeloader, dope-head, do nothing piece of human debris to be making their way to Seattle as we speak. These folks have to be fed, housed, medicated and entertained also.
It’s gonna be so fun to watch. If the media will show it.

If the city officials allow this to continue, then the Governor needs to step in and END IT by sending in National Guard Troops with . No group should be able to block city streets and take over buildings without ramifications. Every one of the thugs should be JAILED. They have made the citizens prisoners.

What will the democrats in Seattle and Olympia that run the city and the state do when the bodies start piling up? The mayor has already waved the white flag and Jay Inslee is a total left wing ideologue so I expect not one damned thing.

Cut off city water, sewage and garbage pick up. Make them negotiate 'treaties' to cross Seattle property and turn on the city services. Let them learn that cities don't run themselves on racial hatred and anarchy.

Fouling their own lefitst nest. This is possible because the "people in charge" are on the same side, basically have agreed to let them take it over, no effort to prevent this BS "drama" from unfolding.
Frankly, a few hundred cops, with the ability to use whatever force is necessary, up to deadly force, could quickly end this.
But the "leadership" of Seattle doesn't WANT it ended, they want this to happen. Street theater, not reality.

how hard can it be to give them what they want? you want independence, u got it. Contract with power and gas companies for service. Wait, you don't need that, you have green power. same for garbage and sewage. Compost it all. you want in or out? you need to go through immigration ports and show passport and visa.

Send in Snake Plissken, he could deal with them, once he gets done with New York.
Actually, the police could deal with them if they were unleashed and uncowed. But "Seattle police"......I wonder how many of the real police officers have been replaced by leftist stooges and various affirmative action candidates who really are on the side of the wrong?

We need to keep repeating that the BLM and Antifa thugs are all Democrats who will be voting for Biden this November. It's obvious to all of us, but the rank and file Democrats haven't grasped this fact. If you post on other websites or call in to talk radio, please mention this.

Like "Occupy Wall Street", a collection of lunatics, leftists, anachists, criminals and other assorted human refuse.
How long before they start "taxing" the businesses trapped in their Hell Zone? How long before they start executing "spies" in their midst? Will the outside continue to supply free food forever?
Let it run. It will collapse of it's own massive, unworkable, childish, lunatic contradictions. They are their own worst enemies.

Seattle deserves every bit of this and more! This will not only NOT end there...it will grow!!! Use to travel there weekly in the mid '80's! What a lovely place, but now...it has defended into a hell hole of corruption, liberal mismanagement and chaos. There are few conservatives left in this lefty "paradise" so I don't see anything changing soon. It is where Minneapolis is headed...just a few years behind Seattle. But we will catch up soon with the leaders we have currently!!!
