Earlier this month, Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) filed H.R. 4169, the "Religious Freedom Peace Tax Fund Act." The bill would allow taxpayers "who are conscientiously opposed to participation in war" to send their tax dollars to a separate fund that would spend the revenue on non-military purposes. Yet the same Democrat also opposes the Hyde Amendment, which prevents taxpayers from being forced to fund abortion. In other words, he wants religious freedom for taxpayers if they disagree with funding the U.S. military, but not if they disagree with funding the killing of an unborn baby in the womb. A St. Louis man who’s obviously seen a few things was caught on camera looking completely unphased as an armed thief held up the bar he was drinking in. At one point, the man can be seen lighting up a cigarette — keeping his cool the entire time and refusing to get up from his chair — while the suspect points his heavily modified pistol at him. He even refuses to give up his cellphone when ordered by the crook. “He just was very adamant about it like, ‘I’m not playing your game,'” said bartender Dustin Krueger, who spoke to KMOV4 and other local outlets on Thursday.

Recent polls have shown that most Americans believe that homosexuals are “born that way” rather than become gay as the result of environmental factors. In fact, perpetuating the belief that sexual orientation is innate has been crucial to the gay rights movement. According to the most recent Gallup Poll on the subject, 88 percent of people who believe homosexuals are “born that way” support the legality of same-sex marriage, while only 39 percent of those who believe homosexuality is the result of environmental factors support the legality of same-sex marriage. So, what happens when science proves that homosexuals aren’t “born that way”?

And by using sensitive information to force the appointment of a special prosecutor, the OIG found that Comey "set a dangerous example for the over 35,000 current FBI employees -- and the many thousands more former FBI employees -- who similarly have access to or knowledge of non-public information." The series – The Girls on the Bus – is an adaption of New York Times journalist Amy Chozick’s book recounting Clinton’s failed campaigns, titled Chasing Hillary: Ten Years, Two Presidential Campaigns and One Intact Glass Ceiling. The book, published last year, details Clinton’s presidential aspirations dating back to her first bid, losing to former President Barack Obama in the Democrat primary of 2008.

The Democratic National Committee recently passed a resolution extolling the values and virtues of "religiously unaffiliated" Americans, noting that they constitute the "largest religious group within the Democratic Party." Ironically, most of those in the "largest religious group" in the Democratic Party are utterly irreligious except for their belief in big government — and their own infallibility. The resolution praising the ungodly was passed unanimously at the DNC's August 24 meeting, appropriately held in San Francisco, California. This elated the Secular Coalition of America, an organization that lobbies for public policy benefiting agnostics, atheists, and humanists.

As both sides build their cases, numerous influential organizations and individuals have filed amicus (friend of the court) briefs to aid the members of the Supreme Court in their understanding on this topic. One brief in particular stands out. It’s so powerful, it should not only persuade the Supreme Court but influence people on both sides of the transgender debate, particularly the mainstream media. The brief examines the personal testimonies of the following people, all of whom identified as

To begin solving the problem of former FBI director James Comey, who's been blasted by the Department of Justice in its Inspector General report, start by never again hiring people who value themselves so loftily over the people they are charged with representing. In other words, never hire someone like him, who absolutely believed that he was smarter than, better than, and more important than, the people whose laws his agency was tasked with enforcing. Enforcing the law was never on Comey's agenda, not at all. He was all about the power he had amassed as director of the FBI. What was in his head?

Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz released a report Thursday outlining a wide range of serious misconduct by former FBI Director James Comey. Concluding that “Comey set a dangerous example for the over 35,000 current FBI employees … who similarly have access to or knowledge of non-public information,” the 83-page report implicitly vindicated President Trump’s decision to fire the rogue FBI director in May 2017. The Office of the Inspector General also confirmed that Comey improperly leaked highly sensitive material to the media for the express purpose of pressuring the Justice Department to appoint a special counsel to investigate the 2016 presidential election.

There will be a lot of damning sections in the new Department of Justice Inspector General report on former FBI director James Comey, but this section in the conclusion is perhaps the most important: [FBI] employees may disagree with decisions by prosecutors, judges, or higher-ranking FBI and Department officials about the actions to take or not take in criminal and counterintelligence matters. They may even, in some situations, distrust the legitimacy of those supervisory, prosecutorial, or judicial decisions. But even when these employees believe that their most strongly-held personal convictions might be served by an unauthorized disclosure, the FBI depends on them not to disclose sensitive information.

No individual gene alone makes a person gay, lesbian or bisexual; instead, thousands of genes likely influence sexual orientation, a massive new study of the genomes of nearly half a million people suggests. Across human societies and in both sexes, between 2% and 10% of people report engaging in sex with a member of the same sex, either exclusively or in addition to sex with a member of the opposite sex, the researchers said. The biological factors that contribute to sexual orientation are largely unknown, but many scientists suspect that genetics plays a role, given that same-sex sexual behavior appears to run in families and is seen more often
