There will be a lot of damning sections in the new Department of Justice Inspector General report on former FBI director James Comey, but this section in the conclusion is perhaps the most important:
[FBI] employees may disagree with decisions by prosecutors, judges, or higher-ranking FBI and Department officials about the actions to take or not take in criminal and counterintelligence matters. They may even, in some situations, distrust the legitimacy of those supervisory, prosecutorial, or judicial decisions. But even when these employees believe that their most strongly-held personal convictions might be served by an unauthorized disclosure, the FBI depends on them not to disclose sensitive information.

Looks like the same old story to me. Remember Hillary"....Comey laid out all the illegal things she did and then said she would not be prosecuted? Now we have the IG of the Justice Dept laying out all the bad things that Comey did and announces that Comey would not be prosecuted. The AG announcement sounds like Mr. Comey, himself, could have written it.
Maybe we should think about changing the name of the Justice Department to something more appropriate.

The only recourse we have is to wait and see what happens. However, I am not optimistic that the wrong doers will pay in any meaningful way. I honestly believe that they are waiting to see if Trump wins re-election before they move forward on any prosecutions because they believe they can still beat this. At this point, and after all we have seen, i.e., Lois Lerner, I don’t have much faith in our government holding anyone responsible. They seem to love to target people connected with this administration but are strangely reticent to move against democrats. Papadopoulos, Flynn, and Stone are perfect examples of selective justice on the part of the DOJ which is why I am so skeptical.

Seems to me that this clown Comey thought he was the Father, Son and Holy Ghost all rolled into one 7 foot rat.

How about: The Departure of Justice? Like the Pigwoman, Comey is simply 'too big to prosecute'.

He loves his country and the FBI as long as the President he wants is in office.

James Comey is attempting to use the old Robert Preston as the "Music Man" defense, to defend his demand for an apology.
"If you are getting run out of town on a rail...turn around and make it look like a parade."
See this classic movie again and you will agree with me.

I don't believe for a minurte that Comey is off the hook. The risk as I see it, if the AG or DOJ moves ahead now with indictments, trials, and prison terms and by unforeseen circumstances, the President is not re-elected, what follows will be merciless persecutions similar and more severe than what Papadopoulos, Flynn, and Roger Stone experienced. A slow drip must be maintained until after Trump's landslide win next year. Then the dam will break and the flood of indictments, trials, and imprisonments will happen. Many dims have just over a year of freedom left in their lives. This all assumes that rule of law still underpins our nation's values. Does it?

The IG’s report exposes “Boy Scout” Comey for that he really is: a sneaky liar and leaker, only concerned about his lofty self-image as someone pursuing a so-called “higher power.” But his huge, but fragile ego was shattered when Trump fired him so he set out for revenge. That was his real “higher power.”

This is disgusting. Anyone who has ever served in any position requiring a security clearance knows how blatantly and purposely Comey violated his responsibility to protect and not disclose that information. It's not even close. And worse yet, as the Director of the FBI.

I am losing hope that any of the participants of The Coupe’ attempt against The Duly Elected President of the United States Donald J.Trump will be punished for their Crimes! The IG recommended Prosecution of Comey and Barr declined. He only issued a Statement that has EmbarASSed Comey!...to say I am dissatisfied is a ‘UGE understatement!
