President Trump ordered the Navy to rescind achievement medals awarded to prosecutors involved in the case against Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher, who was found not guilty of war crimes in a trial earlier this month.
“The Prosecutors who lost the case against SEAL Eddie Gallagher (who I released from solitary confinement so he could fight his case properly), were ridiculously given a Navy Achievement Medal,” Trump tweeted Wednesday.
“Not only did they lose the case, they had difficulty with respect to information that may have been obtained from opposing lawyers and for giving immunity in a totally incompetent fashion,” he added.

Fired FBI Director James Comey told agents he appeared to have lost track of two memos he kept detailing conversations with President Trump, according to new documents revealed Wednesday by Judicial Watch.
The FBI sent agents to visit Mr. Comey at home in 2017, after his firing, to speak with him about the memos, which the former director had leaked in order to embarrass Mr. Trump.
Agents collected four memos from Mr. Comey ranging in dates from February to June. But Mr. Comey told the agents two memos he believed he wrote “were missing.”

The officials would not provide details of where or when Hamza bin Laden died, or if the U.S. played a role in his death. It is unclear if the U.S. has confirmed his death.
Hamza bin Laden's last known public statement was released by al Qaeda's media arm in 2018. He threatened Saudi Arabia and called on the people of the Arabian peninsula to revolt.

We know this because tonight, at the Detroit debate, she equivocated on whether her "Medicare for all" plan would raise taxes on the middle class. At least Bernie Sanders, the original socialist of the Senate, was willing to admit it.
Middle class Americans would pay "less out of pocket," Warren asserted, contradicting every financial evaluation of a plan that would overturn the employer-sponsored, private health insurance plans of 150 million Americans and replace it with a Medicare package featuring benefits far more generous than the public system in its existing form.

Of the ten participants in tonight’s Democratic presidential debate, only two — Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders — have a realistic hope of being nominated. Thus, we might have expected that these two would clash, the way we expect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to lock horns tomorrow night.
But that didn’t happen. It was the debate that wasn’t.
The debate that was turned out to be Sanders-Warren versus three less extreme candidates — no-hopers all — who attacked from the right. John Delaney was the most effective of the trio, but John Hickenlooper and Tim Ryan had their moments.

North Korea has fired two new short-range ballistic missiles, almost exactly a week after it tested two other missiles in an attempt to put pressure on the US to halt upcoming military drills with South Korea and restart nuclear disarmament talks.
The two missiles fired Wednesday were launched at 5.06am and 5.27am local time from near the city of Wonsan on North Korea's east coast - the same area where last week's tests were conducted.
South Korea said the missiles flew 155 miles out to sea at a maximum altitude of about 19 miles and appeared to be a different type from previous launches.
