A search of the Gilroy shooter’s Nevada home turned up white supremacist and radical Islam reading material, reports the San Francisco Chronicle. Additionally, the authorities found evidence of a “massive attack,” a gas mask, bulletproof vest and empty boxes of ammunition. There were no details about the reading materials,
The search of the apartment in the desolate town of Walker Lake, in Mineral County, also turned up a knife, a gun light, a camouflage backpack, gun pamphlets, computers and numerous electronic hard drives, an empty bottle of Valium, and a mysterious letter from “Virginia to Santino,” apparently referring to 19-year-old gunman Santino William Legan,

FTA:
In interviews with investigators, one of Legan’s brothers said Legan was a loner and in the days before the shooting he gave away pieces of property to people, according to a federal law enforcement source.
As in Walker Lake, Legan did not seem to make much of an impression in Gilroy or Watsonville, where people who went to school with him said they could barely recall his name or face.
Doesn’t a non-profile like this fit many of the young shooters?

"White supremacist" literature?
But as we're all aware - - that the SanFran Commnicle considers even the Constitution to be "white supremacist." The demand for "white supremacy" by leftists far exceeds the actual supply.

Yes to # 2. I want to see the “white supremacist” materials. I’ll believe the Islamist stuff is what gave him inspiration to shoot all these people before I believe the “white” stuff.

Here we go again. Lunatic commits a horrific crime and authorities are looking for his 'motivation'.

His grandfather was a radical Shia from Iran, closely allied with the Nazis. (In fact, Iran changed its name from "Persia" to "Iran" or "Aryan" due to Nazi influence.)
Real Nazis and Iran are intimately linked. Not a surprise.

The SF newspaper said "white supremacist and radical Islam" reading materials were found. Interesting editorial juxtaposition, considering the numbers of whack-job Islamic killers in recent years.

And exactly what sort of things are now called "white supremecist literature".....maybe the Declaration of Independence would be called that by some of the really crazy leftist and other looney folks out there.
Islamist hate is a 1400 year constant. Maybe getting back to his Iranian roots?

I think the "white supremacy" literature is the book written in the late 1800's by Ragnar Redbeard.

I'm sure I have plenty of White Supremacist stuff laying all around like the American Rifleman.
Frankly, I'm naive when it comes to genuine white supremacy. I'm sure they are out there but for the most part I really don't know what the hell they are talking about. I have encountered one KKK member in my lifetime. That was in the 80's.

The MSM has made the expression of mindless hate acceptable. The are the "unintended consequences" of such a stance.

Radical Islam? White Supremacy? Both are opposed to the other. Apparently that did not matter to the shooter. The only common ground between them is they both hate. This guy didn't hate Jews or blacks or whatever. He hated everybody. That's how he ended up attacking something as improbable as a garlic festival. He didn't care who he killed as long as he was killing somebody.

Oh by the way? A couple paragraphs down? ".....an empty bottle of Valium...."
Anybody who knows the pharmacological characteristics of Valium intoxication want to comment?

#11, the Nazis (socialists/white supremacists) and Mooslims go way back. Ticks of a feather, as it were. Which is why the democrats/leftards like the moosies so much. Fellow travelers. All leftists.

Radical Islam and White Supremacy??? Covering all his bases I guess. And any bets which will be covered by for "friends" with the MSM?
Bonus question: What do these 2 groups have in common? (Hint: Jew hatred.)

Eric Hoffer, the 'longshoreman philosopher' wrote True Believers back around the 1950s. explained how some people were susceptible
to mental changes which in turn, caused them to go to the polar opposite - a communist, for example, could swing to John Birch Society ultra conservative.
Hoffer was an interesting guy. He was removed from formal education at the end of third grade because of vision problems - (so was my mother, coincidentally) and he worked as a laborer most of his life. He argued that great thoughts were facilitated by work that required no mental effort.
I believe Hoffer would look at the lad, nod, and say, 'what a good example of my thesis!'

A loner living in a desolate place, taking Valium, reading radical literature from several ideologies. Reports tell us that young people 18-25 are the most frequent abusers of “benzos” like Valium and Xanax, among others. They mistakenly believe that prescription drugs are safer. Using them to self-treat anxiety and depression. One wonders if these kids, raised without religion, patriotism, a belief system, search for one in the wrong places. Then, failing, they blow...
