Now that the threat of impeachment has dwindled away to nothing, the time has come to clear the decks for 2020 by removing all further impediments, obstacles, and annoyances from the path of Donald Trump. A crucial part of this effort will be closing the book on all further criticism of DJT’s tweets. We have all seen no end of pieces criticizing, condemning and apologizing for Trump’s use of the tweet as his major weapon for undermining the left-wing media monopoly, driving his opponents into a frenzy, and striking fear and confusion into the left. In truth, seldom if ever are Trump’s tweets mentioned

My only complaint with Trump's tweeting is a lack of proof reading. Then again, Trump's speach pattern is cringe worthy too.
That said, anyone not a race baiting leftists understands what he's saying. Leftists pick apart what he said. The Normals know what he means.

Yes, finally someone who understands that the "tweet" is a powerful, direct, unfiltered, unfilterable communications channel directly to We the People, bypassing the Enemedia.
FTA:
"...the day of white-glove politics has ended, and that any weapon is acceptable against the kind of trash that comprises the modern American left. "
I agree whole heartedly.

One of Donald Trump's first promises as a candidate was to crush PC, with was destroying our country. As President Donald Trump. he uses Twitter to keep that promise.
Most Americans want to be spoken to as equals, not ignorant serfs. Democrats expect us to stand around the water cooler or lunch wagon, reacting to a Dem speech with awe saying things like "Don't He talk purty?".

"All this with only a handful of words. How is this less than brilliant?"
PLUS, there are no ad cost$$$. AND, a Trump ad would never be viewed by a Leftist. They would mute it or shut off the TV or not read it. But the President's tweets become nightly news and tomorrows headlines. They are injected full force into liberal and liberal leaning America. This has three effects. First, it drives the Left crazy, herding them ever more toward the cliffs of insanity. Next, it raises alternate thought to those in America who are starting to question the usefulness of the dem party. Finally, it makes the bitter, clinging media provide free coverage for their hated enemy and exposes ideas for questioning that they would rather keep undercover. The media can ignore stories. They can't ignore Trump's tweets. A bonus is that in trying to attack Trump and defend their Leftist ideas, they sound like morons and often do even more damage to Leftism.
Winning a battle against your enemies is brilliant.
Getting your enemies to pay to defeat themselves and make fools of themselves requires an extremely stable genius. What a wicked good deal!
For those who worry that the tweets lack "polish", do you want sloganeering or authenticity? The occasionally mangled words feel like they came from Trump. I have friends that love Trump EXCEPT for his tweeting. They want him to "shut up". They just don't get it. I point out that without Trump's confrontational style, the progress he has made, which they like, would never have been accomplished. They are stunned by the concept.

Covfefe is Trump's tactical political nuke. I have no problem with his stream-of-conscious thought and speech that make the grammar nazis and pearl clutchers cringe.
Man is busy and has a lot on his mind. I, for one, appreciate that he is not folded, spindled, and mutilated by advisers and focus group consultants.

If the President's tweets weren't pretty outrageous, they wouldn't get the attention they do. It's part of his strategy to say things that are impossible for the media to ignore in a way that points a huge spotlight on the topics DJT thinks are important; it re-directs the entire conversation in the direction he wants it to go.
