Former Congressman and current Democratic presidential hopeful Beto O'Rourke has laid out a plan he says would help the country "realize the full potential of our democracy." O'Rourke's campaign says the "Voting Rights and Democracy Reform Plan" could increase registration by 50 million voters and turn 35 million additional voters to the polls by 2024.
O'Rourke's plan is built around three parts.
One would focus on increasing voter turnout. The plan would allow same-day voter registration. Twenty states and Washington DC allow same-day registration now. Sixteen and 17 year olds would be automatically pre-registered.

All of the illegal 'voters', you mean. I'm tired of having this failed skateboard salesman insult my intelligence!

I wish we would realize the full potential of our republic by making sure only citizens voted one time in their domiciled district.

Beto needs to go away. He reminds me of the second grader who's constantly acting out because he thinks you've forgotten he's there.

Beto is really off the mark. We have 40% who don't vote in Presidential races, and even more who don't vote in Congressional races.
He's talking about a mere 50 million new registrations, which still doesn't equate to "voters".
Americans have a long tradition of AVOIDING gub'mnt, and you can't make 40% of the adults ever vote. They don't want to. They won't like forced voting. They recoil at the idea they should be sullied with an immersion into politics.
In the end our Presidents are selected by barely 30% of the adult citizens ~ in one party, but that's. how we do it.

Sixteen year olds voting? Might as well lower the age to six - everybody who makes first grade is eligible.

No Beto, we are not going to allow America-hating illegal aliens, terrorists and mush-headed teenagers to vote for our president. It's just not going to happen. Why don't you open a business waxing skateboards or whatever you do with them and stop annoying the adults.

Why is it that only Demonrats seem worried about getting people to the polls? What they're not saying is they will disguise illegals, felons, dead people voting under that same "plan." Sorry Dumbo-Beto we've come a long way since "Motor Voter" and the heinous Bill Clinton.

MY voting rights plan.
I have the right to vote for Trump instead of Roberto O'Rourquez.

Translation: We want to get as many felons and illegals voting as we can, preferably more than once in any given election.

They don't want the extra 30 million registered to vote cast their own vote. They want the 30 million registered and then they will do the voting for them.

My parents purchased a tavern about 70 years ago, and I spent time there, getting to know the customers, and tending bar when I turned 21,m and home on leave.
One regular customer, Fred, a factory worker, in his 60s, said something that rings a bell here. He complained about today's voting procedures. (current time was 1961) "Back when I was young, Fred said, it was worth something to vote - a few packs o0f cigarettes, a six pack of beer - and now - nothiing.
Imagine what would happen under the fake mexican's plan.
And imagine if all prisoners were allowed to vote - they apparently can in a few states.

16 and 17 year olds voting??? A lot of them still can't wipe their posteriors without help...I like the solution in 'Starship Troopers', if you don't serve in the military, you don't have the right to vote...

They need to raise the age back to 21.
And, if you're still on your parents health insurance, then it's 26 for that person to vote.
Heck, raise the age for legal adult to 21, if that helps people.
Better yet, install finger print technology for voting.
Enable it to cross-check data bases to ensure only legal citizens, people aren't dead, incarcerated, committed, etc.. are allowed to vote.

This is nothing more than lumping a bunch of radical ideas that are geared towards younger people who are easily swayed by social media into falling for a media campaign, allowing people to 'vote' without proper certification of residence and citizenship, and to restrict persons from donating to campaigns. Thrown in is a suggestion for term limits just to make it seem appealing but all of this taken together is just a plan to prevent any opposition from those who would see this for the sham that it is-- it is amazing how the media propped him up in the Texas Senate race, but now he can't draw their focus on his 'rockstar' status
