Valerie Jarrett reportedly writes in her new book that she confronted former President Obama over a "macho atmosphere" in the White House, where she served as senior adviser, adding that female staff members initially felt intimidated during his time in office. Axios, which obtained a copy of "Finding My Voice: My Journey to the West Wing and the Path Forward," reported Tuesday that Jarrett writes that she told Obama that women "rarely talk" in meetings, adding that "when you aren´t there to ask their opinion, they are becoming increasingly mute." Jarrett also writes that the

Many things come to mind when Obama´s White House is mentioned. Toxic masculinity isn´t even in the top 100.

I don´t believe a word of this garbage. Any female who has risen to that level in a dem admin in the Imperial City is a de facto power skirt. They have no problem voicing their opinion whether asked or not.

So obama was Macho Man from the Village People! Who knew? Well he must have left his macho man at the White House whenever he went overseas with all his bowing and scraping to foreign dictators and potentates! The White House macho man was an act for obama is really an effeminate, bisexual, metrosexual who couldn’t even get angry when Maureen Dowd made fun of his big ears!

Val-Jar is writing a book? Is she going to admit she was running the White House? Does she need money? Is this why she is writing a book. I guess the Obama´s raised her rent.

Just hyping for her vacuous book. But book, at least one corporate directorship and a professor’s role at the University of Chicago will likely earn Val Jar $750,000 this year. And she is surely being wooed by CNN, MSNBC and FNC for a multi million dollar plus role. And, she doesn’t have to worry about legal fees bankrupting her.
Bankruptcy is for Trump people. Crime does pay, and pays well, if you’re connected to Obama.

She mistook purple-lipped motor-mouth syndrome for masculinity? This woman has severe judgement problems.
She can´t possibly tell the truth in her book because she is still living with the Obamanations. They would make her the first homeless person in Kalorama.
If anything the toxic masculinity came from the other one.

I couldn´t get past the headline...nealy snarfed my coffee.
All I can see, in my minds eye, are the photos of that champion of masculinity (obozo) hanging curtains (juxtaposed with Regan clearing brush) and another wearing "mom" jeans.

Thinking back I can´t think of anyone who was masculine in the Obama White House except Michelle Obama.
Maybe the women wouldn´t speak in meetings because Obama would sit there showing them the middle figure pretending to rubbing his left eye lid.
Obama´s ´mom jeans´ was a bit too macho.
Who is the ghost writer for Jarrett´s book? Bill Ayers? Give me a break!

Well, we have certainly learned about the value of women who aren´t afraid to speak up--AOC, Abrahms, Gillibrand, Warren, most of the freshman Democrats in the House.
The quote ´Better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.´ comes to mind.

Why would anyone rely on another person for their own self-value? You get it from yourself, and your accomplishments. If someone will not acknowledge you, perhaps they are not worth working for.
Saw many examples of Barack Obama´s ignorance during his 8 years in the Whitehouse. No doubt, between Michelle and Valerie, Barack Obama was neutered. He probably deserved it.

Except for Mooch herself, who is more macho than Valjar? And some of the others in that WH. Rice, Powers, Lynch, the list goes on.
That book title is kind of lofty … she really fancies herself...

What a load of horse manure.
There are dozens of obvious adjectives which describe Obama, but of all of them, the most totally opposite, the most perfect antonym is "macho".
This wimp is the exact opposite in every way of "macho".

Michelle was second.
