Gas stations across the country are running out of gasoline just as 43 million Americans are preparing to hit the road for the July 4th holiday weekend. Those that do manage to find gas are likely to find some of the highest prices in almost seven years, with gas now averaging $3.10 a gallon across the US - the highest since October 2014. Demand has rocked since last summer as COVID-weary Americans hit the road again, although the current shortages are being caused by a lack of available truckers to deliver fuel.

Americans continue to live with democrat hell and the green weenie wish list being carried out by Brain-dead Biden. Many people have scoffed at the horror story told by Ayn Rand in "Atlas Shrugged" since she wrote it in 1957. Go ahead, laugh some more.

No more Keystone, no more fracking. What did anyone expect would happen? It has nothing to do with the dropping of covid restrictions or the summer travel season. The price of gas started to rise on 11/4/20. The oil companies saw the writing on the wall.

Life is a living hell under Democrat control freaks. Their policies result both in planned shortages (reduced gas production and distribution) and unintended consequences (not enough drivers due to ridiculous unemployment benefits). They WANT gas to be scarce and very expensive, as Obama openly stated. Everything they do leads to more control of the sheep and less freedom.
Apparently, 50% of the country is just fine with that.

Gas prices are the ultimate in trickle down economics. When gas prices are low, bread prices are low. When gas prices are high, bread prices are high.

High gas prices aren't a problem for the Democrat "leadership", they are a goal! One of my friends has oh-so-smugly leased a Tesla, and he absolutely delights in bragging about how he never visits a gas station anymore. He never considers where the energy comes from to charge the batteries, either. It "runs on batteries", a complete misunderstanding of how e-vehicles work!
The leftist watermelons (green outside, red inside) absolutely want to break the back of the fossil fuel economy. It's a feature, not a bug.

Democrats because of their political philosophy and insatiable desire for control are incapable of governing. They are complete disasters when it comes to running a city, state or country. The only things they excel in are lawlessness and corruption. It is no wonder we are quickly falling into an economical abyss. It was inevitable and everyone paying attention is not surprised when the country goes to Hades in a hand basket. The rub this time around is the fact that we know democrats cheated to get their guy in the catbird seat. Not only is he there illegally, he is mentally incapable and unfit for the office.
Everytime anyone fills up at the pump this weekend, they will not blame President Trump, they know where the blame lies. All that is going to be needed for a full non-violent spirit of rebellion to take hold in this country is for the Arizona audit to tell the truth. I believe if massive fraud is found, the American people will turn on the democrat party in a way they could never have imagined. Have democrats finally gone too far? Let’s hope so. I, for one, will be willing to suffer through this temporary pain to see that dirty devilish party exposed for what they are. Anyone with a brain can understand that with democrat governance comes universal misery, not to mention further corruption and lawlessness. The comparison of the Trump administration’s energy policy to the Biden administration’s policy regarding this one issue is as different as night and day. People get it and they don’t want what the democrats are peddling. Biden owns this. Every family that is adversely effected by Biden’s EO’s, knows from where their misery flows.

The pipeline from Alberta to the port of Vancouver being built with China's silk purse funding is on schedule. From January to May inflation is 6.6% and may exceed 9%/year. Hope the 50 million Bidrn Harris voters and vote manipulators experience the worst the fascists have to offer.

While in the heat of summer I will warn everyone again winter will be worse. Heating oil prices surge, natural gas production reduced to hold up the solar industry people are going to be freezing in the dark. What happened in Texas will be on a national basis this time. It was just the beginning when Joe Biden stole the election the communist are in full stride now.

Funny how the dims and the msm are silent about the driver shortage. #6's comment highlights the gross ignorance that is common in some Americans. The same ones who think money just comes from the bank.

#2 - when I read Rand's novel 40+ years ago, I considered it fiction and a cautionary tale. Never did I believe that one day I would be living in it.

There was a little piece on Bloomberg tv about the price of oil rising to $100 a barrel as oil companies adjust to renewables. Followed by another piece about an OPEC meeting to discuss oil prices. Now none of this would have happened if Biteme hadn't done executive orders. We were energy independent. As for gas shortages. No new oil refineries have been built in the U.S. in more than twenty years. Expansions yes, but no new ones. We saw the same thing happen during Obozo's first two terms, and it's happening again during his third. Gas prices in my area actually went down about eight cents a gallon for a few days, then went back up about five cents.

Exxon has smelled Biden coffee, and are cutting their workforce by 25%, stopping exploration, and selling off assets. Vanguard and Blackrock put some woke directors on their board so they will now be investing in climate control, a product without any customers.

The first of many B.S. shortage reports. Bogus. False. Phishing. Wishing. You-know-what-ing into the wind. Stay away from Big Name gasoline sellers. The no-name stations get their supply from the same tanks down by the river as all the Bigs do. Be informed.

Pushing gas prices up has two objectives for starters. One is reducing fossil fuel use to save the planet from overdosing on CO2 and trying to make people buy electric cars.
