A speech by President Trump at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park was nixed on Tuesday after park commissioners said no partisan events are allowed in the park. The commissioners made the announcement just 5 days prior to the speech. They asked Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall his opinion on the event over a month ago. Marshall wrote his response on June 16th. The letter to Marshall from the commission was not received by him until June 14th.
Cancel the cancel culture!

Well, Governor Ivey, If you don't step up for Trump now, don't come asking him for his endorsement, or a Rally, in 2022 when you are up for re-election. I would bet the Governor would have some sway in changing the "Commissioner's" mind on this cancellation!

All the good states should reject and abhor all affiliations with Alabama, let them go cancel culture on their own.....

The contrast between Trump and his crowds and Biden and his is too great. Cannot let anyone see it. So weak.

The democrats are terrified of President Trump and will do anything to stop his rallies...his rally in Ohio scared the crap out of the DC swamp...and the call went out to stop him from speaking the truth...it's all so predictable ...but... WE shall overcome...thank you Dr. Martin Luther King... your words of peaceful defiance are a great source of strength for MAGA...oh well... let's move it to another venue...have wheels... let's roll!!

The letter was dated May 26 but wasn't postmarked until 16 days later, June 11? What's up with that?

Alabama? Seriously? We really are in deep kimchee if this is happening in Alabama.
BTW, I may be wrong but I think that #5 must mean the All Star game which was moved to Colorado from Georgia.

This ‘decision’ was made by a local parks commissioner, not by the State of Alabama. Look for this to be reversed.

What would be great is if an Alabama patriot - with a lot of land- stepped up and volunteered his place for The Rally ....which would no doubt draw a massive crowd..... showing that "the people" are behind Trump.

This is not just Donald J. Trump that is cancelled. It is the presidency of the United States. Can you imagine this happening to Barack Hussein Obama, the Bent One or even George W. Bush? Never, ever.
Alabama should be ashamed. What a laughing stock we are making of this once great Republic.

This partisan decision made by a low level state official should be reversed immediately by superior state officials. Following that, the Parks Commissioner should be fired, especially since it appears that he purposely withheld the decision so as to make it difficult to find another suitable venue.

A park commissioner? That man must have some kind of state clout to act like this. That's one step above the famous dog catcher an unelected servant who needs a job appointed by a city council I suppose. A 'good ole boy' in the group nod and a wink.

#11, I was born and raised in northwest Florida which we sometimes referred to as LA - Lower Alabama, so I know what I’m talking about. I still live in the South in a city which is being overrun with northern leftists so I know full well that everyone in the South is not the same.

The letter from the AG said they could have the event. A Republican asked if the event could be held. Are there any Republicans that are not RINO's? How many Democrat events have ever been canceled? That's right. None.

I'm sure there is a farmer in the area that would be more than happy to have a rally for President Trump. And I would imagine there would be more participation than whatever goes on in Battleship Memorial Park that day.

#2 That's what they want. They want to make people angry. There will be false flags happening in the near future. Look to when the election fraud disclosure happens in Aug. A false flag (FF) might just be these angry Trump followers or Anon's did it. So don't get angry, and let everybody know that when the election stuff begins the Democrats (Deep State), Elites and all will probably be responsible for what is to happen. So don't get angry but continue to point this out.

I measure my words decrying good Alabama people doing nothing (so far) about this outrage. The Mayor of Houston cancelled our Texas Republican party Convention a few days before it started. We sued. The decision stood and not a peep was uttered after that...
God help us. WE HAVE TO FIGHT BACK.

The Satanic Party (Democrats) along with the phony Media have had success. Many people now believe that those of us who voted for Mr Trump are prone to violence (and do not pick up after ourselves after a rally).

This American thing we had was Revolutionary. God given rights to the lowliest citizen. The Federal System was designed to be a referee between the Sovereign States, and all States contributed to the National Defense from outside enemies.
Why does Trump have rallies? If it's about a 2024 Campaign, fine. If we can only see politics, and self governance as finding a King to rule us, we can read about how that goes in the Old Testament of the Bible. Oddly, the Book of the Bible that addresses this is called: KINGS. Been there, done that. How did we get here?
Democrats created the 17th Amendment to the Constitution to decimate State power. Yes, Democrats were cheating 100 years ago.
We could work to repeal the 17th Amendment, but it seems like we would prefer a King.
