House Republicans ousted Rep. Liz Cheney Wednesday morning in a closed-door vote from the No. 3 spot from leadership -- but the Wyoming Republican remained defiant on the way out.
Cheney had remained steadfast in her opposition to former President Donald Trump and his "dangerous lies" about the 2020 election being stolen from him -- putting her at odds with other House Republicans who wanted to move on from the Jan. 6 riot and unite the party to win in the 2022 midterms.
Cheney was removed by a voice vote and took a swing at Trump after the Capitol meeting.

She’s an establishment Republican, wants to get back to her dad’s politics. We need to go the way of tea party and not give comfort to leftists.

Now if the Wyoming Republicans will just put her out to pasture permanently in the next election, that will close this terrible chapter in at least this one backstabbing nasty hosebeast of a RINO!!!!!

I was wondering this morning what the hell happened to Liz Cheney that made her such a NeverTrump-er. Then I saw an article in the local newspaper. Turns out ol' Liz went to Colorado College, where she studied political science. That place is a hotbed of left-wing nutcases.
Now I know: she's ALWAYS been this way. She just didn't show it until now.

If Liz Cheney had put as much effort into fighting against the dangerous Biden and Democrat agenda as she was against Donald Trump (who she needs to be reminded is no longer in office), she could have been very effective in her leadership position. Instead, she kept beating a dead horse and droning on and on about the past and went against her party's best interests. Her continued actions acting against the Republican party showed that she did not deserve to be in a leadership position. She defeated herself.

I still cannot fathom how Wyoming folks ever thought Liz CHENEY was some conservative.
These daughters, sons of and wives of long time DC fixtures end up being fairly predictable every time. The establishment backs a son/daughter so hard BECAUSE they will fund, cater to and take care of the same special interests Daddy did!!

Why a closed-door vote? I want to know how each one voted.

The country is being invaded at the southern border. Many good jobs have been destroyed beginning day one when Biden was put into office. There are businesses, especially in the restaurant and service industry that are shut down or permanently closed due to lack of availability of workers. Why work when the government gives you taxpayer's money to sit home and enjoy life without putting out any effort. Our fuel supply has been sabotaged and halted from invasion by foreign enemies and the government is clueless as to what to do. Do we not have Homeland Security, CIA and FBI to stay on top of these things instead of getting politically involved in presidential elections and coverups? Prices of consumer goods, food, lumber and necessities are going up fast, some prices have doubled. Inflation is on the way. Elected government "leaders" across the country stand by as BLM and Antifa take over the streets, loot and burn cities, threaten and beat up anyone getting in their way. Innocent citizens are brutalized and beat up daily while simply walking down the street or riding the subway in NYC. There are shoot outs in Chicago weekly and in many of them small children are shot and killed. The left is using a virus from China as an excuse to shut down the economy to control people. Our electoral system is in serious jeopardy as illegal voting is being ignored. promoted and glossed over as the left eagerly tries to change it by adding more schemes to make illegal voting easier. They want to disenfranchise the military and keep them from voting. All of these things are being ignored and enabled by the left and their media activists. All Liz can focus on is her unfounded hate for a President who worked 18 to 20 hours a day for no salary and had the country running better than anytime in memorable history. Donald Trump accomplished more in four years than Liz, her dad and any of their fellow swamp creatures ever did. She has done nothing to help the people of this country. I wish she would go away same as "W" another passive do nothing.

The messaging is that Else Stefanik is the replacement. I think that has been pretty clear.

#12, and now we will find out whether Stefanik is just another 'get along, go along' spineless trough feeder, or a leader that can take us away from all the DC massive corruption and China-first policies, and back towards Making America Great Again.

They better move quickly on installing Stefanik before the real stories about her come out. We need real conservatives, not kinda conservatives.

It's a shame, but it needed to happen. The country is falling apart, Dems are trying to destroy us, and all Liz wants to talk about is Trump. That shouldn't be the priority of any Republican, let alone someone in a leadership position.
