Major League Baseball has expanded its contract with Chinese firm Tencent, the streaming service that briefly blocked National Basketball Association games amid a row over Hong Kong.
The deal with Tencent gives the firm rights to continue streaming MLB games in China until 2023. Additionally, the contract will allow Tencent to broadcast MLB games in other Asian countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia, through its international service WeTV.
News of the contract was revealed on Thursday, one day before MLB announced it will move the 2021 All-Star Game from Atlanta, Ga., in protest of the state’s new voting law.

Move the All Star Game to somewhere in the PRC's Xinjiang province, in the name of ethnic unity.

MLB working with China! Anyone who supports MLB should move with MLB to China. Just helping China take over America. One step at a time

The optics are not good for an Atlanta Allstar game for Chinese viewers, will most likely be moved to Seattle or San Francisco. Pretty crazy tight rope to keep all the special interest happy, while giving those who got you here the finger.

If this law is so bad, why has it not been challenged in court?

Coke and Delta are major sponsors of MLB, which I am sure this will benefit them with this Chinese deal. I think Biden, Atlanta, Stacy Abrams, and BLM just got played. There is a lot of friction between the asian and black communities. The faux voting legislation outrage was to give the appearance of supporting the very people that are getting a knife to their back.

The numbers of fans in ball parks are of minor importance to.MLB. The.number of viewers world-wide are the highest priority. No special priority to the United States.

There's a sort of perverse logic here.
The slaves in Chinese communist labor camps aren't allowed to vote - - so there's no reason for MLB to worry about the voting laws over there. But - - as soon as the slaves in the concentration camps are freed - - then MLB will demand that they have full voting rights.
Yes - - it makes perfect sense.

MLB is a multinational corporation that goes where the money is. If the higher profit margins are in China that’s where they will go. MLB messed up big time when they got into partisan politics and surrendered to Biden and the leftist Democrats. A big factor no doubt involved in their political surrender is they are scared of BLM riots outside, and maybe inside, their taxpayer funded stadiums. By surrendering to the leftist Democrats, MLB is bound to lose about half their American fans. Chances are they will move the All-Star game to some “woke” leftist Democrat City, or maybe even to China, depending on where they can suck up the most cash. MLB is no longer the old time “America’s Pastime” where Americans used to go and attend baseball games to forget all the tribulations in their lives and certainly partisan politics. If you don’t like what that corporation is doing, just don’t pay big money to attend their games, watch MLB on TV, or buy any of their high priced hats and shirts. If enough fans do that, MLB will either get the word that they should play ball and stay out of partisan politics, or go out of business in the USA.

MLB in bed with the Chicoms. America's past time is past time. What's next, a team in Beijing? in Havana? in Caracas? MLB wokeness is blindness personified.

In a way, one could have seen this coming decades ago. With a population of over a billion people, business sees only profits and doesn't give a wit about political affiliation. They see only dollar signs and not the end of freedom.
