"You don’t need a group that wraps itself in verses while stabbing your future.” What a line that truly defines the nature of what the Muslim Brotherhood is all about. This eloquent spokesman does not defend the norms of many Islamic countries. He is proud to say that the UAE is the exception to the rule, the country with a bright present and future due to their rejection of the Muslim Brotherhood But it is more than just the UAE (or Bahrain). There are many millions of people in the Middle East who are not interested in a radical Islamic lifestyle. They are not necessarily very Western either.

My belief is that education and communication will eventually stamp out the disease of Islam after fourteen hundred years of tolerating and living under this oppressive system. The stupid, backward people of the world who think that it is okay to abuse women and deliberately teach children to hate keep it going. Muslims had been invading neighboring countries for centuries but the clash with the Western world began when we discovered oil in the Middle East and the interaction began. Islamic men hate Westerners because we show them and especially their women that their ways are cruel, abusive and wrong.

They may not accept the Muslim Brotherhood but the seeds that created it are alive and well in their culture. It will be replaced by something with a different name but very similar. There is always someone willing and able to use a holy book as a roadmap to tyranny, and the Koran makes it easy.

I'll take their word that there are peaceful Muslims out there. I heard a Christian minister say it best. Many Muslims would run for the hills if they could, but Islam has a heavy iron boot on the backs of their necks. If a Muslim tries to buck Islam, it is a death sentence for them AND THEIR FAMILY. Islam is a corruption thanks to those who run it. How many Muslims have died thanks to their sick religion? Many Muslims know this. Their tyrants (don't call them leaders) chose war and Muslims have been dying ever since.

#2, as a ‘Southern American’, as you choose to call me, I resent your ignorance. You appear to have more in common with a radical islamist than you might think. Study much?

The UAE can certainly play an important role in stamping out radical Islam but it is a large group driven by hatred and hysteria. It will take more than a video by one rational Muslim. They must be forcibly defeated.

Unlike Christian beliefs where we only have individual obligations, in Islam there are two sorts of obligations: personal and collective.
Yes, there are individual Muslims who don't jihad, but their "tithe" supports jihad at the rate of 12%.
And, their leaders are always on the lookout for those few Muslims in their midst who will jihad in behalf of the rest.
So, this guy is ignorant (perhaps even deceptive) about Islamic obligations and how they are carried out.

It took Spain over 700 years to remove Muslim rule from their land. One might say that left an indelible mark on the country.
I know a well travelled individual who ran across three Spaniards in different places over a few decades time. He asked each of the Spaniards a question. . ."What is the difference between a Moderate Muslim and a Radical Muslim?" The answer was the same by the three, "nothing".
This anecdote kind of goes back to what poster #4 was saying.

read the clear words of the Koran. Sure, it's nice to have a few Muslims who don't, at this time, intend to wage terrorist war....but Islam still commands them to kill or enslave the unbeliever.
Right there in the Koran, dozens and dozens of places.
Islam is a cancer on humanity. Until no Koran's exist anywhere, the cancer will continue to spread.
Pretending that there is a "nice Islam" is suicidal.
"Maybe they'll kill me later" isn't a good plan.

I don’t trust Muslims. The Koran and hadiths are quite clear. Murder, rape and all kinds of other obscenities against infidels are allowed - even demanded - in their books. Since they are also required to lie to and beguile non-Muslims, a practice known as taqiyya, none of them are to be trusted. None. And this business of insisting that the Christian faith went through a reformation to become less brutal and Islam needs to do the same thing is pure BS. No one can murder or assault an innocent other in the name of Christ so no reformation was needed to preach friendship and civility. No reformation can tame Islam because it is fundamentally a violent ideology built on the ravings of an illiterate madman, pedophile, rapist and cutthroat.
