Joe Rogan released a new podcast featuring FBI Director Kash Patel today. At one point in the discussion Patel revealed that his house "just got swatted yesterday." These comments came about 30 minutes into the two-hour interview at the end of a long discussion of Russiagate. Patel didn't say he was blaming the swatting on anyone in particular but the implication was that this was one part of a larger campaign of harassment that has been directed his way because he has turned over documents about Russiagate to congress.

These people deserve to be shot for doing this. NOT a prank, these vermin are trying to get someone killed, intentionally. Should be attempted murder, at minimum.

I'm not sure this is actually a good idea. Too easy to twist into a weapon against political enemies.

How is it possible that with all of the current technology the SWAT'ing caller cannot be identified and arrested? Do not the authorities receiving the SWAT call have the ability to trace the caller? If not, there is a serious flaw in the system that should be remedied immediately.

Okay, Kash, tell US what to do to get to the bottom of your swatting. /s
You're the director of the FBI. Good grief!
You're not getting my blood pressure up talking about illegal stuff that goes on and doing nothing (it appears). I feel like that's what our congress critters do all the time. They go on podcasts and news shows and tell us all the bad stuff that's going on, but they almost never tell us what THEY are doing about it.

I am so done with "I've seen it, and there is nothing to be concerned about, and it will be released soon."
Trump, Patel, Bongino, Bondi....I don't care who you are, I don't trust this delay game anymore!

I must be the only person in the world who doesn't know what swatting is. I thought it would be reasonable to expect the article to tell me. But, no. I read the stooooopid piece and I STILL don't have a clue. So much for trying to learn something in an insane world.

In answer to #7's question, swatting is the attempted murder of someone by calling the police anonymously, claiming to be the intended victim, saying that he had, for instance, murdered or was about to murder his entire family. The heavily armed SWAT team is summoned for a knock at his front door. If the intended victim, who doesn't have any idea what has happened, comes out of his bedroom with a gun to answer the late night knock, he might get executed on the spot. That's the ultimate purpose of swatting: murder of a completely innocent person by police. If the FBI Director himself cannot prevent this, what good is the law?

Poster 4, computer generated Swat phone calls are difficult to trace according to law enforcement.

Strange that the police departments don't know where the people live and continue to 'swat' homes....of Trumpers....

Did no one try to contact him first? The scary part to me is that someone was watch him to know if he was at home, in order to make the call. If I am understanding it.
He had a 2 hour interview and from what I read, he basically said nothing. Maybe that was the nature of the interview, but it seemed he just kept coming up short. For example, he mentioned that Epstein killed himself and that the public would be getting the information and some time of what they could release. If he killed himself, and his partner in crime is in prison for a good long stay, and his dead, what mysterious evidence would be too secret to release. It's not going to expose any fbi agents, or fbi techniques, what's so secret? It's the only thing that took a look at and said, "yep, he's dead, and the prison said he was all alone." so what's is with the "The American public is going to get as much as we can release" .... What does that mean? Is the fbi still studying the matter after they already concluded "he killed himself?" Did they make a conclusion before they review all the evidence. This is the thing they are misunderstanding about being transparent. Why is it taking this long to release it?
