During an interview with ABC News on Tuesday, President Donald Trump said that DOGE has saved a lot of money and he doesn’t think that the department has moved too quickly and without enough caution but he has had to undo some of the cuts made by the agency and “There are things that I’m considering, right now, putting back. But overall, we’ve saved hundreds of billions of dollars.” ABC News Senior National Correspondent Terry Moran asked, “Elon Musk and DOGE, everyone knows that there’s wasteful government spending, it’s really important. I think some of the US AID cuts are planned to be implemented by the State Department. That makes sense.

It's not the American taxpayers responsibility to save the lives of every Tom, Dick and Harry in the world. We need to take care of veterans and middle class working Americans. I am tired of supporting do-nuffins, welfare leeches and the 'poor!' I'd like to keep the money I've worked hard for, for the better part of my life.

CPB Board Members; CPB Files Suit

President Trump upset the Left on Tuesday morning by summarily dismissing three board members of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting appointed by President Biden. In response, CPB and the dismissed board members sued the Trump administration, insisting the CPB is a private corporation immune from such dismissals. This underlines the bizarre nature of the CPB, and how PBS and NPR tout it like an oxymoron: "A private corporation funded by the American people." The system is designed to be unaccountable to Congress or the president, to preserve their so-called "independence."

During an interview with ABC News on Tuesday, President Donald Trump said that he could tell El Salvador to return Kilmar Abrego Garcia but “I’m not the one making this decision. We have lawyers who don’t want to do this,” and “If I were the president that just wanted to do anything, I’d probably keep him right where he is.” But he would push El Salvador if he thought Abrego Garcia was a good person. While discussing the Abrego Garcia case, ABC News Senior National Correspondent Terry Moran said, “You could get him back. There’s a phone on this desk,

A report that Amazon would display price increases due to tariffs on its goods — which the company has since denied — landed CEO Jeff Bezos a phone call from President Donald Trump on Tuesday, Breitbart News can confirm. CNN White House reporter Alayna Treene, citing two senior White House officials speaking anonymously, reported that Trump personally called Amazon’s founder to confront him about the report. A source familiar verified to Breitbart News that there was a call between Trump and Bezos in the morning. Punchbowl News first reported on Amazon’s alleged plan “to showcase how much tariffs were contributing to the price of goods sold on their platform.”

When Democrats are in power, they style themselves Dr. Jekyll; when out of power, they are Mr. Hyde. To be sure, Democrats are not immune to protests from the far left, but in the main, we get lectures about norms and lectured by politicians like Obama that "elections have consequences." When Republicans get elected--and especially when Mr. Trump managed to make his way into office-- Democrats spend an awful lot of time explaining why assassins (Luigi Mangione), riots (George Floyd riots), vandalism (Tesla terrorism), and harassment of administration officials are all good, right, and necessary. Riots and harassment become the norms of the day.

The stunning collapse of the Conservative Party's lead in the polls has led to this: The Liberals, having replaced Justin Trudeau with Mark Carney as their leader, are on the cusp of attaining an outright majority in the Canadian Parliament. That sucks. Before Trudeau bowed out of leadership and his role as Prime Minister, the Conservative Party looked set to cruise to victory. Canada was well and truly tired of the effete Trudeau, who, whether he truly is the son of Fidel Castro or not, certainly exhibited authoritarian tendencies. His antics no longer entertained, so he was rushed out the door.

The Trump administration is investigating Harvard University and the Harvard Law Review for alleged racial discrimination in violation of civil rights law. The Departments of Education and Health and Human Services announced investigations Monday following an explosive Washington Free Beacon story last week that revealed a pattern of apparent racial discrimination at the Harvard Law Review. The Free Beacon’s reporting — based on internal documents over a period lasting more than four years — chronicled how diversity, equity, and inclusion ideology became central to the Harvard Law Review‘s membership and to articles throughout the editorial process.

The suspect — a still unidentified 30-year-old man from Vancouver — was “known” to law enforcement after a “significant” history with police interactions, and was also well known to health-care professionals related to mental health,” interim Vancouver Police Chief Steve Rai told reporters Sunday. In addition to the dead, dozens more are injured after the Saturday attack at the celebration for Filipino Lapu Lapu Day, and police cautioned that more victims could succumb to their injuries.

The blast took place at Shahid Rajaee, the country's largest commercial port, near the southern city of Bandar Abbas on Saturday morning. It blew out windows and roofs of nearby buildings and destroyed cars. Residents reported feeling the impact of the blast up to 50km (31 miles) away. Videos verified by the BBC show a fire growing in intensity before a huge explosion, with people subsequently fleeing the blast and others lying wounded on roads surrounded by smoking debris.

Disturbing video has captured the moment a massive brawl broke out among Carnival Cruise ship passengers in Texas — resulting in more than a dozen people being banned from the cruise liner for life. The violence erupted as scores of passengers were disembarking from the Carnival Jubilee when it docked in Galveston on Saturday following a week-long Caribbean jaunt, according to footage shared on social media. “It went down this morning,” said Trelle Ray, who shared the clip on Facebook. The footage showed multiple passengers barging past barriers to trade blows. At one point, a man was shoved to the floor before a handful of others started violently pummeling him.

Spain’s power network has remained silent on the actual cause of Europe’s worst power blackout in a generation, but has acknowledged that it is “very possible” that a problem with solar power systems may have contributed to the failure. A freak weather incident was blamed on Monday for a massive power cut that affected the entire Iberian Peninsula, depriving Spain and Portugal of electricity. However, this narrative was quickly questioned by energy industry insiders, and Spain’s national energy company now acknowledges that renewable power failure may have been a contributing factor.

In his final act as pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church, Francis, in keeping with his deep commitment to the climate and well-cultivated image of personal humility, could have foregone a papal funeral. To the thousands of world leaders and dignitaries flying to Rome as required by international protocol, Pope Francis could have extended an invitation to stay home. He could have ordered he not lie in state, preventing the Vatican pilgrimage of hundreds of thousands of faithful to pay their respects. He could have even skipped the motorcade through the streets of Rome. All this, as a memorable gesture to maintain a smaller carbon footprint — one last gift

A bill that would decriminalize welfare fraud under $25,000 in California for simple administrative errors is being pushed by a Democratic lawmaker. State Sen. Lola Smallwood-Cuevas introduced Senate Bill 560, which would delete criminal penalties for welfare fraud below $25,000, and delete a provision for criminal penalties for any attempt at welfare fraud below $950, according to the legislation, which was introduced in February. "California’s safety net should lift families up, not trap them in poverty," Smallwood-Cuevas told Fox News Digital. "Right now, a missed deadline or paperwork mistake can lead to felony charges that tear families apart — even when there’s no intent to deceive."

Shocking video shows the moment a tourist stupidly climbed into a crocodile’s enclosure to pose for selfies, only for the animal to turn around and attack him. The brainless visitor, 29, thought that the 15-foot reptile was a statue in the zoo in Zambonga Sibugay in the Philippines. In the video, the man is seen climbing over a chain-link fence and wading through water before pulling out his cellphone and grinning. Suddenly, the fully-grown female croc, named Lalay, charges toward the man, sinking her fangs into his arm.

If you peruse the mainstream media’s headlines, you’d think Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan was some sort of saint, a noble fighter against tyranny and oppression. She was arrested by the FBI for that specific crime, not because they were trying to “silence” her. “No one is above the law,” isn’t that what the Democrats say? Well, reality has caught up with the rogue jurist as the Wisconsin Supreme Court suspended her Tuesday:

There’s plenty to like or dislike, from his large number of executive orders to his federal cost-cutting bonanza with Tesla CEO Elon Musk. So, it’s telling that a recent poll shows the vast majority of Trump supporters would vote for him again now, if given the opportunity for a do-over.

It wasn’t long ago that a California governor made it clear that oil refineries were not welcome in his state. Then another California governor asked regulators to loosen the chains on refineries to ensure that they will be profitable and remain in the state that every day burns an enormous volume of gasoline. Actually, it is the same governor, one who has turned his attention from playing to his hard-left, blue-state constituency to shifting toward the middle for a 2028 White House run. It was just last summer when Gov. Gavin Newsom announced a “plan to prevent Big Oil ‘profit spikes’” that would also “save Californians money at the pump.”

The Tennessee Public Records Act provides state agencies with seven business days to respond to valid Open Records Requests, and explicitly states that “[f]ailure to respond to the request” constitutes “a denial,” which gives Leahy the right to sue to compel the agency to take action.
