This week is significant for Christians worldwide, including myself, as we commemorate Jesus Christ’s death and sacrifice on Good Friday and celebrate his resurrection on Easter Sunday. However, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has announced new regulations that will severely restrict foreign missionaries in China starting May 1. Citing the need to combat “extremism” and protect national security, these measures threaten religious freedoms.
Under the new regulation, foreign missionaries must obtain government approval for lectures, sermons, and group activities, facing a burdensome application process that details the date, time, location, and attendees.

San Francisco was once a shining example of a great American city, but now it is mostly a punchline. The metropolis that gave us epic Mark Twain quotes, Levi’s, an iconic music scene, the Golden Gate Bridge, and so much more is now known more for excrement on the street, crime, mass drug addiction, and homeless people sprawled across the sidewalks. Given that, you’d think they’d figure out what to prioritize to improve the lives of their citizens.

Their answer, though, will make your head spin. They’ve decided to erect a 45-foot statue of a woman in Embarcadero Plaza to “jazz up” downtown. They might certainly achieve their

The Upper Midwest Law Center, a conservative nonprofit law firm, celebrated the settlement in a news release on Thursday.
The law firm brought the lawsuit on behalf of a group of parents and students in 2022, claiming the district put up political Black Lives Matter posters but disallowed other political posters, like "Blue Lives Matter" or "All Lives Matter" posters.

In a ruling that should outrage every parent, taxpayer, and conservative voter in Texas, a federal judge has stomped all over the authority of the Texas A&M University Board of Regents—greenlighting a sexually charged, ideologically driven drag show to proceed on campus despite a commonsense ban.
Senior U.S. District Judge Lee H. Rosenthal, appointed by George H. W. Bush, issued a sweeping preliminary injunction Monday that forces Texas A&M to allow the so-called “Draggieland” event—a campus drag show hosted by the “Queer

Democratic Connecticut state Sen. Martin Looney proposed a bill that would require Connecticut movie theaters to publish a film’s actual start time.
Moviegoers know that times listed on movie tickets indicate when the previews begin, not the actual movie.
If passed, S.B. 797 would require theaters to publish both times on tickets.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump referenced a report by Special Counsel Robert Hur that described Biden last year as a "well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory."

A California bill that would allow higher education institutions to prioritize slave descendants in college admissions is drawing harsh critique from some civil rights experts.
Introduced in December, the bill, AB 7, is a project of Democrat Assemblymember Isaac Bryan who represents part of Los Angeles.
If passed, it would allow the state’s two public higher education systems, the California State University and the University of California, as well as private colleges and universities to “consider providing a preference in admissions to an applicant who is a descendant of slavery, as defined, to the extent it does not conflict with federal law.”

The FBI and Seattle Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying a serial bank robber who targeted at least five banks across seven months. In a press release, the agencies said the suspect stuck up five different banks in Seattle from June 28, 2024, to Jan. 13.
“Once we start seeing someone do multiple jobs or violent bank robberies, it's something the bureau will put more priority to," said Steve Bernd, spokesperson for the FBI in Seattle.

A Russian man arrested for allegedly running a travel agency for gay customers was found dead in custody in Moscow, rights group OVD-Info reported Sunday, amid a crackdown on LGBTQ+ rights in Russia.
According to OVD-Info, which tracks political arrests, Andrei Kotov — director of the "Men Travel" agency — faced charges of "organizing extremist activity and participating in it."
OVD-Info said an investigator told Kotov's lawyer that her client had died by suicide early Sunday while in pretrial detention and was found dead in his cell.
