The Maryland Democrat, who initially trumpeted his mission to "rescue" a deported MS-13 gang member, is now desperately trying to rewrite the script of his adventure gone wrong.
When Van Hollen first landed in the country, he couldn't wait to broadcast his virtuous mission to the world. "I just landed in San Salvador," he proclaimed proudly, promising to secure the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, whom he claimed was "illegally abducted."

On a chilly February night in 2025, Jay Sani, an Indian-American student at Washington State University, stepped out of a bar wearing his red MAGA hat. The 28-year-old engineering student didn’t expect the night to take a violent turn, but it did.
According to reports, as Jay walked, two figures approached him. Patrick Mahoney, a university instructor and vocal proponent of Palestinian causes, and Gerald Hoff, a graduate student and teaching assistant.
It is unclear what sparked the confrontation, but words were exchanged and, as seen on security footage, Mahoney lunged at Jay, ripping the hat from his head.

Rosie O’Donnell has admitted she was “drinking too much” during Donald Trump’s first term in the White House - and during his recent presidential campaign, she vowed she would leave the country if he was elected again. The American talk show host revealed last month that she and her 12-year-old child Clay moved to Dublin, Ireland, to escape the Trump presidency. Since her grandparents were Irish, she is eligible to get citizenship, but said her application has yet to be approved.

I imagine you have not spent any time with the hereditary elites of Europe, and you are lucky in that. Republican leaders in the House have denied requests by Democrats to approve congressional trips to check on deportees at a mega prison in El Salvador.
With a post to X on Friday, House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) revealed a letter in which he told a pair of Democrats that he was rejecting their demand for authorization of a Congressional Member Delegation (CODEL) to visit the Terrorism Confinement Center or CECOT.
"If Democrats wish to travel to El Salvador and meet with a foreign illegal MS-13 gang member, they can spend their own money to do so,” Comer said

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has been having a grand old time bashing Elon Musk and Tesla while speaking to crowds of angry leftists in recent weeks.
The Daily Mail reports: A member of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s administration has been repeatedly caught on camera allegedly vandalizing parked Tesla vehicles with his keys while out walking his dog.
One person who works under his administration apparently took the governor’s message to heart.
A government analyst in the state was just caught keying a Tesla while he was out walking his dog. He has reportedly been arrested.

In a Friday night hearing, U.S. District Judge James Boasberg said he was “sympathetic” to activists’ concerns over the Trump administration’s deportation of illegal aliens under the Alien Enemies Act, but he doesn't “think I have the power” to stop them.

A federal judge blocked the Trump administration from deporting illegal migrants to their non-origin country without due process.
In his decision on Friday, U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy argued that the Trump administration could not deport an illegal migrant to a country not explicitly mentioned in their “order of removal without first allowing them to raise concerns about their safety,” per ABC News.

Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs’ daughter died earlier this week after a courageous battle with cancer, he announced on social media Friday. The 37-year-old was a mother of three.

Federal workers are whining about the “DOGE 15” — the added weight they’ve packed on since being dragged back to the office and worrying about their own productivity and looming layoffs.
Being back in person like the rest of the American workforce has meant kissing the gym goodbye, and leisurely walks at lunch have also gone out the window, the taxpayer-funded snowflakes complain.

The Supreme Court on Saturday blocked, for now, the deportations of any Venezuelans held in northern Texas under an 18th-century wartime law.
In a brief order, the court directed the Trump administration not to remove Venezuelans held in the Bluebonnet Detention Center “until further order of this court.”
Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito dissented.
The high court acted in an emergency appeal from the American Civil Liberties Union contending that immigration authorities appeared to be moving to restart removals under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.

If you think politicians make outlandish claims, consider what Christians celebrate at Easter. They believe a man named Jesus was brutally tortured, murdered, and buried for three days before rising from the dead. Furthermore, they assert this man was also fully God and that your belief or lack of belief in him determines your eternal destiny.
Christians have no video evidence or DNA tests to prove this. That’s understandable since Christians say the event Easter celebrates took place almost 2,000 years ago.
Americans can’t even agree on things that happened two weeks ago. Isn’t Easter an ancient example of “fake news,” a myth propagated by people putting faith over historical realities?

Sometimes you just can't help but laugh. For some time now, the Democratic Party's been dealing with approval ratings lower than a snake on a submarine and sinking faster than a lead brick in clear water.
