On Saturday, in Los Angeles, faithful agitator and failed commune contributor Bernie Sanders performed his latest “Down With the Oligarchy” act. Joining octogenarian Bernie was his new Tanto, New York Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Also on stage were octogenarian Joan Baez and 79-year-old Neil Young. Add up all those ages, and they've collectively lived more years than the USA has been a country. The appearance of Bernie and AOC together evokes little interest in me. It’s like watching the same “pull my finger” joke. Bernie and his socialist sidekick sang the same tired folk fables about class warfare while lying about Musk and lying about Trump.

The action is the result of a lawsuit filed against 15 Arizona counties by America First Legal (AFL). All 15 Arizona counties have now begun the process of verifying and removing noncitizens from their voter rolls, including nearly 50,000 registrants who did not provide proof of U.S. citizenship. The Department of Justice's response to a request by the attorneys representing El Salvadoran national Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia for a "show cause" holding the government in contempt didn't go exactly according to the script the plaintiffs had in mind. It served notice on Obama-appointed federal judge Paula Xinis that she was mistaken if she thought the Department of Justice or the White House were shaking in their boots. San Francisco was once a shining example of a great American city, but now it is mostly a punchline.
