On Friday, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) began the process of cutting its workforce by at least 25%. In addition to the layoffs, the agency will also eliminate its Office of Civil Rights and Compliance. In an email sent to employees on Friday, the agency noted that the reductions will “be implemented in phases” and employees will be offered early retirement incentives beginning next week. Fox News reports: “This action is being taken to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the IRS in accordance with agency priorities and the Workforce Optimization Initiative outlined in a recent Executive Order,”

Call the IRS. Your wait time could be 2 hours. With the amount of transfer calls, one is expected to drop. Starting all over and playing the record again. Don't worry, you may get 3 different answers to a question from the work-at-home(5 days) federal "leeches". Tomorrow could be a repeat. Await a letter. Blah, Blah, Blah.

Eliminate income taxes and you won’t need an IRS. You really don’t need to take away individual citizens’ hard earned income to run an honest government. I have always felt that the income tax is a Communist plot.

On a tangent, last year a relative of ours needed to speak to Social Security regarding her deceased husband. She dialed and had to wait 8 hours until a representative answered. It is amazing the call was not dropped during those hours. If she was working at the time, she would not have been able to connect. This is a fact.

No income tax. No flat tax. No tax of any kind. The word "tax" should be eliminated from the language as being too vulgar. I can still remember Bill Clinton saying the word in speeches and seeing orgasmic glee in his eyes. Just end it. And while we're at it, no fees either. They fee us to death.

Doral, Fla. — Wilmer Escaray left Venezuela in 2007 and enrolled at Miami Dade College, opening his first restaurant six years later. Today he has a dozen businesses that hire Venezuelan migrants like he once was, workers who are now terrified by what could be the end of their legal shield from deportation. Since the start of February the Trump administration has ended two federal programs that together allowed more 700,000 Venezuelans to live and work legally in the U.S. along with hundreds of thousands of Cubans, Haitians and Nicaraguans. A Chinese woman detained by border patrol officers for overstaying her visa died by suicide at the US Border Patrol station in Arizona after officers reportedly failed to perform required welfare checks on her, US Representative Pramila Jayapal alleged. The woman, a 52-year-old Chinese national, was picked up in California after authorities determined she overstayed her B1/B2 visitor visa, Jayapal said in a statement last week. She was sent to the Yuma station in Arizona and was detained there until her sudden death on March 29.

President Trump stood by his wide-scale tariffs, calling them a “beautiful thing to behold” that will eventually be largely supported even as the stock futures dropped Sunday evening. “They are already in effect, and a beautiful thing to behold. The Surplus with these Countries has grown during the ‘Presidency’ of Sleepy Joe Biden,” Trump blasted out on Truth Social Sunday night as he attempted to justify the action he took against around 90 nations last week. “We are going to reverse it, and reverse it QUICKLY. Some day people will realize that Tariffs, for the United States of America, are a very beautiful thing!”

Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ) has filed a resolution to remove U.S. District Court Judge James E. Boasberg for failing to uphold the Constitution’s “good behavior” clause—without requiring the traditional two-thirds Senate vote. The resolution, submitted in the House of Representatives, alleges Judge Boasberg—currently Chief Judge of the powerful United States District Court for the District of Columbia—knowingly abused his position to interfere with the constitutional authority of President Donald Trump. The resolution declares Judge Boasberg’s conduct a breach of constitutional order, particularly his unlawful meddling in President Trump’s lawful directive

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.— President Donald Trump plans to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday in what would be their second White House sit-down since Trump’s return to office. The visit, confirmed by a White House official and Netanyahu’s office Saturday, comes as Israel deploys troops in a new security corridor across Gaza to pressure the Hamas militant group. Netanyahu’s defense minister has said Israel will seize large areas of the territory and add them to its so-called security zones. Last month, Israel shattered the ceasefire with a surprise bombardment in Gaza after trying to pressure Hamas to accept proposed new terms for the ceasefire,

In a bold move that champions both economic growth and practical forest management, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced on Friday that it will greenlight logging in America’s national forests. This decision, spearheaded by USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins, follows President Donald Trump’s executive order last month aimed at revitalizing the nation’s timber industry. For Americans, this is a long-overdue step toward restoring common-sense stewardship of our natural resources while bolstering rural economies battered by years of overregulation and neglect.
